Love / Polish women are the most beautiful in the world! [1718]

Well, those bubble butts keep their shape quite well and don't get all saggy too quickly.

I have a few really pretty women on my FB page. They are all friends I've met over the years.

LOL. Some maintain themselves very well after 40 and even 50 but the average woman on the street? Not so much! Not like in Brazil where they are still smokin up to 55 :)

Fair point, Eurola. The vanity of guys in this respect is grim. I'd say that women here tend to dress for themselves more, whereas they dress to 'pull' more in the UK.

I just want to test the water here without forming an opinion. Are Polish women generally horrible initiators? They just strike me as being like that without a drink in them.

Life / SOME OBSERVATIONS ABOUT POLAND AND POLISH SOCIETY [297]

How about observations of friends rather than this general nonsense that comes up? My friend, xxx, thinks xxx and their opinion seems to be typical of Poles because.... Otherwise, it's just vague nonsense.

Genealogy / Popular Polish First Names? [152]

Kasia asked Asia, should I call my baby Basia? 'Basia?' asked Asia, why not 'Sasha?' she replied to Kasia. 'Sasha nie jest nasza', Asia, replied Kasia.

I'd say Asia, Kasia, Agnieszka and Ania are popular.

Language / Harmless old-fashioned Polish swear words/phrases [159]

Well, if the Mods permit this to stay up til you finish work on it ;) ;)

I can't make out what is said here. Sth like 'if you need help, come to the pub??' (or come to papa??)

Oh, spieprzyć is old and harmless despite the stem.

Life / SOME OBSERVATIONS ABOUT POLAND AND POLISH SOCIETY [297]

I think hypochondria is costing Poland dearly. Negative mental conditioning has led to the situation where all too many people head off to the hospital at the first sign of anything remotely wrong. People with a genuine problem like me have been enrolled into the abrupt culture of getting people in and out as fast as possible. Some delicate cases take longer but I think doctors are getting fed up with 'soft' patients who just whittle their time away. Time to stop seeing patients as a mere box to tick but it is the people that have brought that about through their weakness.

History / Chances of Moscow becoming part of Poland again? [102]

Those dimwits in the Russian government can't even man their own territories sufficiently. It lends support to the argument that they don't care for human life, whether it be that of their own people or others. A bit like the Soviet Union, albeit on a much smaller scale.

Putin wanted a second war and he got one. Now he can take all the blasts from Mujas and deal with it himself as Poland will have nothing to do with their greed.

Crow, let people form federations and not governments. After all, they outnumber them :)

UK, Ireland / Polish and East European prostitutes in the UK [240]

I don't imagine the level of prostitution here is that high. Maybe it's because Gliwice is a cleaner city but there is potential as I've seen in some bars. I imagine there are more Eastern European prozzies in the UK, not Polish ones.

Life / SOME OBSERVATIONS ABOUT POLAND AND POLISH SOCIETY [297]

Yeah, it's a work in progress to draw out the good in people. Ah well, neutrality with people isn't all bad. Some people you just can't win with. Esp the old hags ;)

Genealogy / Polish-Ukranian roots and genes [72]

Not likely with the current Polish administration, Crow. It seems like Erdogan is more interested in Serbia than Tusk is.

Life / SOME OBSERVATIONS ABOUT POLAND AND POLISH SOCIETY [297]

I like the sense of folk tradition. Baltic and Balkan countries do well in this area too :) Today, a gypsy was playing accordion out on the street in a local housing estate and waiting for people to throw down money. Quite a new thing for me. He was playing sth very similar to 'Dance Me To The End Of Love' by the great Leonard Cohen. Busking in a housing estate is odd but his musical talent was impressive.

Law / How much does the average Pole have in cash savings? [38]

Now I know the inspiration for Fleetwood Mac's song 'Black Magic Woman'. Many non-declared voodoo experts :)

The average Pole really cannot have much in savings. Have you ever seen the trolley loads in Tesco? Ouch, they buy a lot.
