Life / Do you think that Polish people are rude? [951]

You give them an inch, they take a mile. Specially when they come to the US, they act differently when in Poland but once they cross the border they become high and mighty and want more more more.

Love / Do Polish Women age well? [153]

Lol.
Women see other women differently than men, while men see other men differently than women see them.

Love / Do Polish Women age well? [153]

why would you worry about growing old with someone? do you think your appearance will stay the same? have you alone discovered the fountain of youth while all Polish women age?

You're right Patricia.
I've noticed immature people look at what the person looks like on the outside, while the mature ones see the beauty from within that person.

And if a person is always mean, crabby and complaining you will be able to see it on the ouside, in the facial features, in their smile (if they ever do).

I often think, what eradicates their former beauty so quickly? Smoking, bad diet, lack of excercise, drinking, hormones, stress, other?

and complaining, negativity, never smiling.
btw, maybe those 40 year women were really 60 or 70? Did you ask their age?

Genealogy / The typical Polish look, or all Eastern Europeans [656]

Polish guys I know tend to be quite tall and slender.

Don't forget the big foreheads, short, short hair and in the summer they wear these tiny swim suits, barely covering the chuj (which is sometimes long, but very skinny)

Genealogy / THE MEANING AND RESEARCH OF MY POLISH LAST NAME, SURNAME? [4500]

Still no help with Jakelski... is it polish or something else?

Might be spelled Jakielski.
"Jak" means "how" or a "yak"
so it could've came from someone who knew how to do things, or was tending a yak herd.

Life / Why there is always around a horrible smell of sweat in Poland [188]

Moving story. I cried.

Sorry made you cry dude. ;)
In the US when someone smells they will either tell them or someone else, move away, make a disgusting face, give them a bar of soap, etc.

In Poland it's more acceptable, just like pissing in the bushes.

Maybe Polish deodorizers aren't strong enough?

I had this friend from Poland who smelled really bad, I told him that he smells and he says he sprays some Polish deodorant.
I said well it still smells, but he didn't believe me. So when he got a job working with a lot of older people in a hot environment, they started to complain to the supervisor that he stinks. So the supervisor called me, because the guy didn't speak any english, and then he understood that I was right, that he smells, so we went to the store and bought a bunch of deodorizers.

And everybody was happy. The end.

Language / Children's Songs in Polish [66]

Polishgirltx is right, but there are different versions of it:

A, a - kotki dwa,
szare, bure obydwa.
Nic nie będą robiły,
tylko dziecko bawiły.
Jak sie kotki rozigrały,
to dziecinę kołysały.
Jeden szary, drugi bury,
a ten trzeci myk! do dziury.
Żeby tylko jeden był,
toby z dzieckiem mleczko pił.
