Life / Which areas of Poland have the most conservative young women (under 22)? [49]

I would say that as long as the person wearing it likes it a non iron shirt is a great solution and huge time saver.

Bed linen- the same situation, slept in ironed and non ironed and didn't make much difference.

While I do iron my bed linen and I iron the shirts I wear I wouldn't for one second dismiss someone who doesn't.

Any man that would ask me about it in the romantic setting would be out.

Travel / Things to do in Krakow and questions [16]

One bug thing is- don't go silly and pay for transfer from the airport if you arrive during the day. The rail is cheaper and quicker.

Law / The right to own guns: would you support such legislation in Poland? [2237]

A country will Poland's cultural profile will always poll in favor of restrictions

So maybe, just maybe, that is how they prefer it.

will not pay attention to rules that they find inconvenient and/or burdensome.

Mostly true but the lack of access and price pays a role. How hard/expensive is it to get an illegal gun in USA vs Poland?

Every respectable poll highlights the number of people polled

If you subscribe to the newspaper that ordered the poll and published it I'm sure you can find that data. I'm not paying for that.

who cares about actual numbers

Obviously not you since you didn't show any yet

Please cut down on your quotes per post

Clutching at straws imo.
The fact that Onet doesn't give the numbers doesn't mean the original source didn't.You have to subscribe to access Rzeczpospolita and I'm not paying just to convince you. And the agency is well known one so I would rather trust their poll than your observations

Why is there no mention of how many people were polled?

Because it's not their poll. It's been ordered by Rzeczpospolita. They are just reprinting the biggest points. It has been done however by well known polling agency. The same poll has been quoted by pro relaxing laws websites.

but it is not anything close to something that could be considered reliable.

Considering that polls from across the board show similar results it's rather reliable. Definitely more than yours 'I think' 'I see' etc. Do you have any data to really contradict it?

there is no recent survey within the last year.

Here is a poll from last year. After the start of the war. That was the survey I mentioned in my recent posts.

Study / Various education and school issues in Poland. Opinions, stories, controversies. [1006]

Ordering things in size or length is part of early maths

True, doesn't mean they have to put everything in order according to that. You weren't talking how well they could order things but that they follow certain order you ingained in them.

natural sense of order when they're very young, then by the time they get to ten years old, they don't even think about it anymore

It's their nature? That the whole class orders things the same way and noone finds it more usefull to order things e.g. by the frequency of use?

one has to distinguish orderly behaviour from OCD tho.

That is why I wrote border.

Generally I believe Atch was a good teacher it's just that bit that made me react.

Life / Boys acting and dressing feminine, girls acting and dressing masculine - transgender teens in Poland [272]

Whipped up to distract people from issues that actually affect them.

Yes and no.
It's a big issue for trans people and girls/women that were affected professionally.
For the rest it's mostly let's find something controversial.

Lenka, wanna share a bathroom with this guy?

One I probably wouldn't even notice, I don't pay much attention.
Two, if by bathroom you mean toilet with seperate cubicles- I couldn't care less. I actually shared toiled with men in places where there was only general one and never thought twice about it.

Why do you think women's spaces arose in the first place?

They arose because people were convinced sexes shouldn't mix in any 'suspicious' manner. There were for example separate bathing spaces at the beach even though they were almost fully dressed.

Autogynephiles (men masquerading as trans 'women') often have an interest in exposing themselves in women's spaces...

That would be more a question of the 'how can we stop people abusing it'. Plus I would distinguish between toilets and changing rooms.

Do you think women in prisons should share their spaces with this 'woman'?

What spaces do you mean specifically?

That prison debate is another hilarious in a sad way:
The prison staff task is to keep the inmates safe. No matter if there are only women there, only man or both.

sure: women just love to share toilets with men in schools, clubs

I've been told I should mind but I simply don't see what's all the fuss is about I've seen man in women toilet, I used man and I've been to places where there is no separation.

If we assume that the only thing that is keeping women safe is isolating them from men then we have much bigger problems than trans people.
