Our population and land mass is much larger than yours.

That has nothing to do with the fact that your homicide rate is more than 4 times ours per 100,000 people.
And more than 6 times Polands.
I have already proved that it can't be the blacks.

Its not the gun laws that cause the disaster in the usa - its black people

Percentage of Americans that are black - 14%
Percentage of Brits that are black - 3%

Gun homicides as a percentage of all homicides in USA - 73%
Gun homicides as a percentage of all homicides in UK - 3%

If your comment above were true then if the UK had the same percentage of blacks as the USA then we would have the same homicide rate.

But 3 x 4.66 = 14%.

It ain't the blacks............ it's those dumb gun laws.........

If it is under lock it is of no use.

I am with you 100% here.
I can't avoid the feeling that some of these guys feel a sort of machismo about owning guns.
It is truly childish and pathetic.
If the intruder to their homes was armed and serious he would probably shoot them dead in their beds before they woke up.
If they did wake up, what are the chances that they would find their gun, load it and shoot first?

So I won't answer yours as it was a daft question.
I understand insurance.
You want a gun, just in case.
But this is all a question of being proportionate.
How much do you insure your $2 million house for?
Me?$3 million.You $20 million,just in case.
We all take risks in our lives.
Driving at 70 mph on an open road on a nice day is pretty safe.But you might get a blow out.......... still overall a minor risk.

You would be the guy doing 30 mph, just in case.

If you Yanks want to kill each other then that is your choice.
We Europeans have seen what a disaster your gun laws are and I think many Americans are starting to see that too.

Whist I agree with and respect most of your posts, I think that you are slightly blinkered with your blind faith.
I really do not see any connection between being Polish and being a faithful Catholic.
As long as you follow the basic ideals of Catholicism, and it's main morals, you can still be a true Pole and not believe in God.

You live in some sort of teutonic wonderland.
But the brutal truth is that Germany is losing it..... militarily it has already gone, culturaly it is dying, and its economic power base, which is industrialy based is being overun by the far east.

Germany is old school, not moved with the times and will suffer.
And in consequence,so will the surviving members of the EU.

Spot on.
Most of us on his forum, except for the interloper Serbs and Russians, were brought up as Catholics.
The fact that we no longer believe in God does not diminish our support of the values that we were taught.
I don't need a God to tell me what is right and what is wrong.
