And yet some of us mostly hate Russians, while others mostly hate Germans. These are two nations with which we mostly quarreled in our history (you could add Turks here, but they stopped attacking us almost 300 years ago, so we no longer hate them, besides, they make decent kebap).

Today, while there is still some hostility towards Germans (Law and Justice regularly uses those sentiments to gather support) most of us acknowledge they have changed a lot since the times of Bismarck and Hitler (even if they got somewhat pussified along the way). Freedom is illusion, do you really have freedom when there are certain things that you cant say out of fear of being blacklisted, fired or canceled. The freedom we got and the freedom that was marketed to us by the media and academia was freedom from old cultural norms, freedom from old traditions, freedom from old moral system, freedom from old truths. People didnt keep the culture because old culture was proclaimed not cool or just dead and that is should be replaced with new culture that is hip and cool.

What happened is that the people got it easy, everything was convenient, bread and games were abundant. The system was giving you everything and telling you not to feel bad about doing anything you want. People felt safe and comfy, and people started caring more about this security and comfort more then actual freedom. Whenever something bad happened and government just HAD TO curtail some, a little bit, of freedom here and there people allowed it. "if it doesnt bother me directly I wont complain." Russians and their Novichoks say that they are fighting NATO but better NATO stay out of the conflict. Would be funny to see strikes against RU refineries by F35 which Russia can't even detect.

As with tanks, logistics of keeping multiple fighter types operational will eventually be too much, sanity will prevail, and all these Migs will be eventually delivered to Ukraine.
When it comes to tanks, due to impulse buying, Poland ended up with T-72M, PT-91, Abrams, Leopard 2 and South Korean K2. MoD people on arms fair shows were like kids in a candy store.

Good thing that Poland sold well maintaned T-62 and T-55A to various African nations in the 90's, where these distinguished machines got a second life liberating good black people from bad black people.

T-72M were transferred to Ukraine in 2022, and I believe most of PT-91 are currently liberating Kursk People's Republic.

Otherwise - maintenance teams in armored brigades would go insane.

lol. Poles and Russians hated each other long before us joining the NATO. We've been fighting since the early 16th century. Even when Russians finally subjugated us we fought stubbornly to free ourselves from their autocratic grasp. If there is any tradition between our nations, it's one of mutual hostility.


I know it may be incomprehensible to a Serb, but no one, no matter the blood and race, is obligated to love Russians.

Love, friendship and loyalty needs to be earned by deeds and Russians never did anything to earn it, always obsessed with grabbing more land and subjugating their neighbours.
