History of two Neighbors: Poland - Germany Interrelations

This is happening nearly all over the world, except for Africa.

Not yet. In majority of countries population growth is slightly to moderately positive and fertility is around 2.5 - 3 children per family. In Africa 5 - 7 children.

One problem is that infant mortality has been brought down almost entirely by outside actors and factors and the underlying behavior has remained the same. In most of the world the decline in infant mortality coincided with greater wealth (itself the result of changes in the culture and mindset of the population).

It's the population equivalent of Saudi Arabia which became rich without having to make any effort (and so it withdrew into tradition and stagnation).

Africa has had (and still has) outside help in becoming the worst governed region on the planet and there's no evidence whatsoever that African institutions have any hope of dealing with the coming much larger populations than they have had so far.... so many individual Africans will seek out better government in Europe... African and Middle Eastern migration to Europe is largely about wanting to be governed by Europeans rather than Africans or Middle Easterners..

I'm not sure fertility can be explained in measures of wealth only. Eastern Europe is poor but has low fertility rates. Rather we can tell that high fertility rates are more typical to agrarian and patriarchal civilizations or those who started to get industrial only recently. In industrial and postindustrial countries majority of people refused from having more than one child not for reason of been too rich, but for reason of been too poor. Rising children became much more expensive now than 100 - 70 years ago and problems with employment much bigger. People need to study too long. I wonder whether financial incentives can change that.

I contemplated on what would official Poland do when Germany finally collapse and, you know what, I came to certain conclusion.

That what is now Germany would become and belong to almost all but not to Poland. Nothing to Poland. Nothing. France will expand, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg. Even Czech Republic would expand. Even one new state will emerge on the map of Europe and that is Lusatian Serbia. Yes, almost all would expand except Poland. That is so because Poland would be stunned, tear apart between all wishes of her western European friends. Poland would wait for Vatican`s opinion. For French opinion. For USA opinion. British opinion. Etc.

So, while Poland wasting its time, others will expand. And when finally arrive opinions from Poland`s western European friends, advice to Poland will be: ``Pump more anti-Russian propaganda over mass media. Give to Poles something to think about.``

Am I? I`m afraid, I hardly can find words to illustrate truth of Poland`s situation.

It's societal.... when women have more autonomy (and get a taste of life beyond babies and the kitchen) the birth rate drops. This applies even to Iran, during the Iran-Iraq war women kept the country going while the men were getting slaughtered and the birth rate afterward fell like a stone in water.

Compare westernized urban Turkey with sub-replacement rates with the non-westernized and non-urban Kurds....

This doesn't apply to Africa where Africans behave as they've always behaved while non-Africans moved heaven and earth to improve health conditions...

Not to mention rapid population growth is an all but certain precursor to war - Syria more than tripled its population in something like 70 years making self-destructive conflict all but inevitable (also see Yemen the only part of the Arabian peninsula capable of rapid population growth - which Saudi Arabia responds to by starting a war to kill off some of the surplus...

Decline of Poland`s population is precursor to all kind of hostilities against Poland. Add to it completely corrupt and incompetent leadership and that`s it. But Poland is just lucky that Germany and entire western Europe made many tragic mistakes recently and aren`t able to even think of Poland. Not only that but Poland maybe even get some time to recuperate and move western, if play wisely. If.


Beside Libya, Syria was among most advanced Islamic countries. I mean, before NATO leading countries ruined it, same as they ruined Libya. Certainly, no any population growth was precursor to war in Syria.

If I were you I would worry more about your own nation's declining population.
A tiny nation of only 7 million with a population decreasing by 36,000 a year.
What happened to that great Serbian manhood?

I stooped to worry. We are now on the path of recuperation.


7 now but we will expand. Many millions in the region await liberation, many of all three faith, Orthodox, Catholic and Muslim. Plus atheists and philosophers. And Svetovid smile to all. Nobody will let you do that.You will remain small and insignificant as long as people like you hold those views.

And in the meantime, Poland will grow in prosperity and power.


Vatican loves Poles and don't ever forget it.

How much is Poland important? Really?

Some say `Poland is important Catholic country`. I don`t see that. What I see is that Vatican always (!) prefer German interests above Polish interests. Actually, Vatican even prefer Anglo interests over Polish. Powerful Protestants are more important to Vatican then Poland.

You know when is Poland important? Only when comes to `Drang Nach Osten`. Then Catholic Church show sympathy to Poles. Sympathy. Power still goes to Germany. But sympathy goes to Poland strengthening anti-Russian stance. For that Poland is important. Use Poles against Russians. Get rid of both, of Poland and of Russia. Perfect solution. Then western Europe can expand.

After all, Rome and Catholic Church authorized Danish destruction of Arkona. Why didn`t they give it to Poland? Why not? Why to Danes? It was natural entire today`s Eastern Germany to be Poland now but Catholic Church made deal with Germanics. Why?

Ritard PiS rulers demand reparations from Germany. However, when Germans offered Poland a Patriot missile system after the incident with a Ukrainian rocket, PiS gave them the cold shoulder. They suggested to send the system to Ukraine, knowing perfectly well that NATO armament may only be operated within NATO borders.
