The IMDB page makes no sense...

"The story of a WWII tragedy in a Polish village mixed with the story of a wedding taking place in the same place 100 years later"

What year does the wedding take place? 2039 or later?

They must have thought it was science fiction, that or whoever wrote it is so much of a zoomer that s/he doesn't realise that the war wasn't long ago at all.

It's by Wojciech Smarzowski. A little disappointing after the hype, however it doesn't try to Polewash the past. Some of the filmography is beautiful too.
