Work / How much can an expat lawyer make in Warsaw? [8]

everything depends if you have your masters and lawyer specialization done.
and its a lot more then ukpolska said it just depends on what are going to do exactly.
From my experience a good lawyer/advisor/notary works for couple of companies at once and is beeing paid about 6k from each plus bonuses.
Obviously in a job like that you are responsible with your own $$$ so you better be good at what you do.

Life / Whats gay life in Poland? [140]
I can tell you an intresting story about gay life in Poland.
Mate of mine a student of sociology had to write a report on gay community in Krakow.
First part of his work was reaserch - he was going to gay clubs, meeting ppl, taking interview, he was learning about it.
but thats boring to be perfectly honest.
the fun part is, somebody has sliped him some sort of rape pill once ;)
[he was ok, his gf was watching him all the time ;-)]

If you hear old ppl talking they talk completly different polish.
Most of middle aged ppl would speak something that we would consider proper polish.
there are youngster as I've mentioned.
And there is also all sorts of ethnic minorities, like silesians, kashubians, highlanders and they tend to speak a lot different, and most of them even if they try to speak proper polish you can hear in in their accent and how they say things.
There is also staropolski (old polish) but you can find it mostly in the books and only few ppl use it.

But its a fact that polish started changing again, many many changes, diference in pronounciation. Luckly most of it is not accepted. But verything has some sort of effect. If you see an old polish movie form lets 20s they spoke a lot different.

If there are no kids it will obviously affect the ammount of cash (and time) the party would have to pay.
But if we're talking about a situation when the guilty party was working and the other was sitting at home... then obviously he's gonna pay a lot, since he will be obliged to privde her and support her to the standards she was accustomed (ah I love this term... the most bs law term of them all) because he was the guilty party.
