Isn't possible to renew my visa while I'm in Poland. As long as I'm a student in my university??

we do not know Sebb, you would have to ask the embassy.

The embassy required no objection letter for visa application. The letter is to confirm that I have commitment in my home country, and I will return as soon as my visa expires. The embassy didn't tell the form of the letter.

How I can obtain that letter, while I'm not employed, I'm just a student ???

The embassy didn't me tell the form of the letter. They just told me my father should acquire it from his company.
But if my father's company issues a letter, it would be related to my father only, since I don't work for the company my father does. I'm currently just a student, so what should I do??

Sorry, Sebb, but it sounds as if you have not given them any credible reason to believe that you have any intention of returning to your home country at the end of your studies. If that is the case, then your have absolutely no chance of getting a visa. End of story.

Also, Sebb, if you cannot manage the relatively simple process of getting a student visa, how are you going to manage to study for four years in a foreign country where you do not speak the language and do not know the culture, which is very bureaucratic, unforgiving and unhelpful. If you're not good at dealing with bureaucracy, then maybe Poland is not the best place for you.

Polish universities are not like, say, American universities. There will be no one there to help you and hold your hand. If you can't figure something out on your own, no one is going to babysit you. You'll be totally on your own. It's sink or swim, and if you sink, no one will care or stretch out a hand to save you. You need a lot of independence, resourcefulness, ingenuity and doggedness to survive as a student in Poland. I get the impression that studying in Poland will be a bit too overwhelming for you, and that you wouldn't survive a semester, never mind four years.

I haven't yet went to the embassy. I asked them on the phone. Anyone else have an idea about No objection letter??

"Daddy said no, so I'll run and ask Mommy" is not a viable strategy for dealing with Polish bureaucracy, either at the embassy or at the university.

You've been told to ask Daddy several times in this thread, and apparently he has said no. Mommy can't do anything to help you. You're just wasting your time.

You are not reading the question carefully, and not answering the question either. Just let anyone else answer.

Hi, I am from India, I am getting transferred to Poland through my company. I am taking my wife with me, please advise me if my wife can work there. Can she work with dependent visa or need to get a work permit visa.

@Harinathan

It's extremely unlikely that she will be able to find a job, unless she does so BEFORE she comes to Poland. Make your plans on the very safe assumption that she will never be able to earn a single penny during your stay in Poland.

It's probably best to leave the wife at home in India unless you are earning very. very well. So well that there is no need for her to work, and that there is plenty of money to keep her entertained her so that she does not go crazy.

Work permit type D processing time

Hi,

I'm from India and received a job offer from Poland. My company got the approval from local labour office and submitted by work permit application more than 2 months ago. They said it would take between 30 to 60 days, but still no updates on the work permit. How long does it usually take?

Thanks,
Leo

It takes as long as they want. For some 30 days, for others 90 days. They have to check if there are no Polish people who could do your job and that takes time. Also as holiday times is approaching many people will be on holiday so everything is put on hold....

@terri
But the company informed me that they have passed the local labour test, which was a 3 week process before submitting work permit application.
Anyways thanks terri for the responding. Seems like I may have to wait one more month.

Hello
My company in Poland applied work permit for me in November 2017. It has become more than 4 months that they applied for it. I had contact with the company but they replied me that the waiting time for the work permit is about six month at present prior they told me it will take around three month. Please let me know what is the waiting time for the work permit at present.
