Polish city that's moved to Britain

the language is a giveaway

and hair on men and women.

McCoy was the only Pole there i think and i wouldnt say he looked classic Polish. You wouldnt be able to tell from front on images like that anyway.

But seeing as you dont seem to have a clue about what does or doesnt look Polish, your opinion on who may or may not have looked Polish is pretty much worthless anyway, i think thats obvious by now.

For the record i do get mistake for Polish failry often, especially when im in the Polish areas by other Poles.

Lets have a look at a photo of you, theres plenty of me on here scattered over the place.

i would agree with Poles generally having high cheek bones, although not all obviously.

I don't. I suppose I'm not Polish... weird all my relatives come from central or eastern Poland.

Slouching doesnt change your genetic make up.

excuse me? according to you the way of walking is in fact a genetic thing? wow, you should write a thesis about that!

French dont, germans dont, Italians? thats crap

Of course they do.

Obviously there are many Poles who look Germanic or classic central European, becuase of all the mixed borders over the years, there has been a lot of interbreeding over the years.

Now you see it. Yet they are not enough Polish for you I suppose?

you are aware that Jews have a specific look dont you?

It's a sterotype too. Many people of Jewish ancestry don't look Jewish at all. They are mixed with indigenous people too much. Of course people ascribe them stereotipical look such as: a huge, crooked nose, curly hair and dark complexion... some has it but some has it not. Does Natalie Portman look Jewish for you?

No i dont mean that i menat what i said, although the Polish do tend not to be over weight.

First of all one needs to have hips to sway it, secondly I think when someone weights a bit it might affect the person's walk (it certainly affects the knees as all people who are overweight significantly have X-shaped legs), the walk of such person might be heavy and swaying. Thirdly high heels make a woman sway her hips.

I don't say that British women are overwieght, they are just the same women as Polish women, and I'm sure some of them sway their hip and some other don't just like the Polish.

For the record i do get mistake for Polish failry often, especially when im in the Polish areas by other Poles.

I know you are. ha ha

Lets have a look at a photo of you, theres plenty of me on here scattered over the place.

Don't even count on that!

OK fine.

Maybe if you had the opportunity to witness it as i have you would agree.

I wish you wouldnt get so offended over these kinds of things, that wasnt my intention at all, and at no point did i portray my observations as a negative. Although you seem to have comprehended it that way - some may say thats a Polish thing too.

Although you seem to have comprehended it that way - some may say thats a Polish thing too.

You would be equally offended if I started to spread such myths about English people. All in all everyone knows you have crooked teeth, you are bold, short, overweight and generally unatractive*

*it's sarcasm; in fact I find many Britons attractive.
OP Wroclaw Boy
9 Jan 2013 #95
No i wouldnt. Many Brits are over weight and have bad teeth.

But thats the thing you listed negatives, where did i say negatives about the Polish or Slavic race? You instantly comprehended that i was trying to ridicule Poles, which was not the case.

You also did the same thing at the very start of this thread.

I knew it! I knew it from the very title of yours that's about £ódź!!! ;DDD

Which again was wrong on your part.

come on be fair here.

It's always wrong to judge people like that even in positive light. It builts mental walls which tear people apart. I don't quite like to be treated as if I were an alien of an alien race. The more I'm on PF the more I see that there is no real difference in people also in regards of the mental features. There's only a bit of chauvinism, everyone wants to see the other as somewhat exotic species and oneself as better or... different.

You see Piorun posted a picture of a British chavette... we have them in Poland too, yet many of you ignored the fact that there is plenty of elegant women in Poland, in Britain likewise. As for her facial features you'd be suprised that stereopically Poles would consider them British... while you consider them Polish. That's why it must be utter rubbish.

Which again was wrong on your part.

I seriously guessed it was about Lodz. That was my first thought. Probably because several years ago I read about Welsh town Wrexham having £KS v. Widzew graffiti problem...

Have you seen "Big fat gypsy wedding" already? I presume the people there are not British but in fact Polish. How did it go, once again:

Nope, those critters are irish , nowt to do with us :)

But the people who supply them in the cakes and dresses are not Irish ;)

there is no real difference in people also in regards of the mental features.

mental features are a result of environment so are physical essentially but the Physical takes centuries to evolve to the point of changing features, thats not the case with mental attributes. You are ignoring a scientific fact here based on patriotism and stubbornness. This is why you are hard work and this is why it drives me nuts talking to you, you have to be dragged kicking and screaming to admit something that youre wrong about. and even then you'll still argue.

It's always wrong to judge people like that even in positive light.

Now youre just replying for the sake of replying with even more rubbish than before.

British chavette... we have them in Poland too

Averages zeti averages, you have to go with the averages. Even black people can have white children.

yet many of you ignored the fact that there is plenty of elegant women in Poland

Who ignored it? not me, i marred one, WHO is ignoring the fact that there are elegant beautiful women even in Poland? We weren't asked, you assumed that and comprehended it in your paranoid patriotic Polish (conditioned) mind.

I don't quite like to be treated as if I were an alien of an alien race.

Who is treating you as an alien of an alien race?

Are you watching this Vincent? i know you dont like it when i have differences of opinions with women.

This is a white pregnant woman smoking:

If you are Polish, and want to belittle Brits, then she has a 'British' look.

If you are British, and want to belittle Poles, then she looks 'Polish'.

All you are doing is proving that people see whatever it is they wish to see.

No, that's what I really think. Many people here told me that I'm very critical about Poles and Poland. I'm just trying to be fair. I don't accept neither compliments nor criticism if they're baseless.

You are ignoring a scientific fact here based on patriotism and stubbornness

wtf are you talking about?

mental features are a result of environment so are physical essentially

Are you suggesting that Poles evoluted differently? Don't even respond please, I'm fed up with your weird theories.

Who is treating you as an alien of an alien race?

Sometimes people on this forum, by pushing their weird beliefs about Poles. We are not really that different!
And look at the stubbornness, you're stubborn too, as well as some of your English countrymen here. And everyone are self-righteous above all. That's why it's hard to have a discussion here. If someone doesn't agree with something or feels offended by a sweeping generalisations then you accuse him of "Polish stubbornness" and being "a sick patriot".

btw you won't find me celebrating Novemeber 11th in any specific way.

If you are Polish, and want to belittle Brits, then she has a 'British' look.If you are British, and want to belittle Poles, then she looks 'Polish'.All you are doing is proving that people see whatever it is they wish to see.

Thank you Ifor, that's precisely what I'm trying to get across with some people here, but hey, for them I'm just a "stuborn Polak" so I must know nothing! Maybe they will judge the voice of reason from the British native as a more reliable :)

I get fed up with the stupid opinions I hear in Poland. I have to come here to remind myself that many Brits have opinions which are equally or more stupid.

Have you got a 'pointy head'? Do you smell of bigos? Do you walk 'funny'? *face palm*

It's a shame that this topic went completely off topic, and turned in to a tabloid tit for tat trash talk; then again, the article came from the Sun.

what's your theory on why they walk differently?

Because they are of slavic stock.

Yup! And you from German stock are just hunch over while walking. Because yo are too fat to walk upright.
lol

:
I particulary feel offended by the fact you obviously don't consider Poles as Europeans...

Youre not, youre Easter European.

though still European - you goon.

As I remember, the Societe Generale case made certain very specific allegations about commercial activities by a company's board. In short, there were grounds for action. A newspaper saying that a town has tramps, boarded up shops and that some young people have left to work elsewhere isn't grounds to sue.

Perhaps a video of a shopping trip to Lidl would surprise a few Poles as to how many are actually here.

So what are you implying? Some governmental conspiracy to lower the real number of Poles in the UK?

Although there are many different looks, the language is a giveaway.

Are you telling me that an average Joe can distinguish between spoken Latvian, Lithuanian, Russian and Polish?

Thank you the Sun for reminding us all why nobody reads your rag.

A quick 12 hour stint over on Ryanair and a few photo's on Piotrkowska is sufficient to come to absolute conclusions on the city, its people and its future. A few cut and pastes from Wikipedia to suffice as research.

It is a laugh that this man calls himself a journalist, he is not even related to one.

Chinese and Tibetan people are from a similar geographical location, they look similar but are undoubtedly different for the typical characteristics.

Its the same with Indians and Pakistanis, Philipinos and Vietnamese, take a look at more drastic differences in Australia for example, between the British colonists and the native Aborigines.

The same situation applies in Europe between English (typically Germanic stock) and Poles (typically Slavic stock). Are you denying that?

though still European - you goon.

What about Greece? Southern Europe? England is Western Europe, do you hear me getting all offensive over that?

Its the same with Indians and Pakistanis

You can't honestly be suggesting that you can see physical differences between these two nationalities. You must be aware of the fact that Pakistan was part of India before 1948 and that much of her populace moved there from India at the time of partition and that many people moved from Pakistan to India at the same time.

Philipinos and Vietnamese

If you think that Filipinos and Vietnamese look as similar to one another as Indians and Pakistanis then you are delusional.

Did they switch religion as well?

Im afraid i cant answer to that as it may be classed as a 'mess up' in which case i will be permanently suspended from the forum by Vincent.

Many Brits are over weight and have bad teeth

hey wro boy,

Americans are worse, you got a lot of 300-pounders; but Brit's oral hygiene is horrible, its gotta be all that tea, I figure....Jay Leno pokes fun at you guys all the time. Isn't a dental plan included in your national hlth program in the UK?

Did they switch religion as well?

No, for the most part, they moved to Pakistan because the were Muslims and others moved from Pakistan to the newly truncated India because they were Hindus. Are you claiming that Muslim South-Asians are physically different than Hindu ones?

Im afraid i cant answer to that as it may be classed as a 'mess up' in which case i will be permanently suspended from the forum by Vincent.

No one is going to suspend you for explaining why you consider Filipinos and Vietnamese to be as physically similar as Indians and Pakistanis. You know this. You made a stupid ill-considered claim and now you are offering a stupid excuse for why you cannot defend it.

Then zegirek said:I particulary feel offended by the fact you obviously don't consider Poles as Europeans...

Your answer: You are not, you are Eastern European.

Eastern or Western, Southern or Norther - nevertheless European, not Asian or American.
I'm not offended by your posts. I don't understand what you are trying to say.
