I agree. The grass in Dabrowa Gornicza was trashed. After grafting with the scythe for 5 days I felt ready to be carried off to hospital through heat stroke. No appreciable rain there for yonks.
That`s what climate experts predicted for Poland before: drought spells intertwined with heavy rains causing sudden floodings plus devastating tornadoes.

June 2020 I have gotten a few messages warning about storms and floods within the last days
It was 130* F (54.44*C) in Death Valley here in the U.S. yesterday. 17/8/20. The hottest temperature ever recorded on earth with modern equipment.
Here's something cool: Before you open, be forewarned....... don't blame me for using up your time. Use the + button at the upper right to zoom for a closer view. Your cursor over a location will give you pinpoint data you selected.... temperature, wind speed, etc. Pinpoint weather in Poland and the rest of the world.
Too beautiful and sunny. We just had a barbecue outside and I am sweating like a horse: it is 33 degrees C. While in the house: 24. Everybody has escaped to their rooms.
there has been a drought here. I dug up a hole to plant a new tree - the ground is as dry as a bone.
uuuf, at last. It has been continuously raining for a few days now. Why so late? Couldn`t it have rained so in summer? I suppose the ground is thoroughly soaked 1 meter down. Will it suffice for the next year?????
Here in most Southern Poland, by titles of Polish Kings in Rascia, its third day of rain. Nights are damnably cold and if not for radiators one would be forced to use electricity for heating.
Predicted by which forecasting service? I use the British Met office as they're probably the most accurate forecasters in the world. Rain all day today. Wait and see.
Wow, I can see Polish members are very busy in the forum now. Me too, coz it is a scorcher. in all Poland. I was out between 8 -12 but eventually ran away from the unbearable heat into the cool house.
My wife is from Masovia and when I visited her in her parents' house in the summer I remember that it was always 4-5 degrees more than by the sea (and no sea breeze). It felt like visiting Africa :)
Tricity is probably the best place to live in Poland (and it's not just my local patriotism) - agglomeration with over 1.2 million people but spread over a large area, so it's not really crowded - a lot of parks, hills and recreational areas, great municipal greenery all over the place, relatively clean air, a plethora of cultural, educational and economic possibilities. Unrivaled.
