German retirees

Old habits die hard. Other Germans sneer at buses as a means of transport for pensioners. It corroborates what I said. Thank you.

FlixBus, of course, also operates in Germany, just like in Poland.

FlixBus,

Yes, I see Flixbuses here once a month. While Polish buses - dozens per week.

But German buses are more colorful. 😉

Yes, because they accept more immigrants than Poland. But it isn`t a good argument for many Poles.

mostly illegals and homeless travel by bus here.

So buses must be cheap. Trains are rather cheaper here, but the cheapest (per head) is to travel by car with 4 people.

Public transport should be the cheapest and most efficient option.

There are loads near us however to go to, say, Berlin, the train is a far better way than buses or driving and not much more expensive than the bus. Flying is better still even though the prices have rocketed.

Yes cuz people living in high end zipcodes dont need buses for transportation.

Main roads. That is where one sees long distance coaches. Plenty of people in good areas do use public transport though. Europe is not America where the transport is bad and everybody's afraid of each other.

But they also have Greyhound.

Greyhound.

Yes but only the poor homeless low life faggots travel in that.

Greyhound

Very long distance and although some tourists like it, it's probably better to fly there or take the train if they still have them. Even a long car journey in Poland is long for me since in the U.K. if you go east-west the journey by train or car is not long, and north-south journeys are always better by train (or flight if it's England to Scotland).

The idea of a 10 hour coach journey is unpleasant.

And I've always loved riding the bus, more than the train.

Sorry, I have a different opinion. In commie times, both buses and trains were incredibly crowded. However, it was trains which offered more space for travellers. E.g, you could accommodate yourself in the corridor or even the toilet.

I heard a joke that in the PRL a train wasn't overcrowded until the glass broke...

Early 90s I was in an incredible crowded PKS bus in the area of PÅ‚ock...

If it's not overcrowded I far prefer trains to buses cause you can stand up and walk around a bit... or just sink into a book (harder on a bus which tends to be less smooth....

You should see the SÅ‚oneczny PociÄ…g (a summer special, Warsaw-Gdynia) just before the August bank holiday weekend!

I'd prefer a triple root canal with no anesthesia... I'm allergic to going where everybody else is going. For vacation spots I prefer the very beginning or end of the season (or plain out of season).

beginning or end of the season (or plain out of season).

The same. We didn't go away this summer due to a bad injury (and in any case, the summer is the nicest time to be in Poland) however avoiding crowds and queues is a big thing.

Damn man I got my wisdom tooth taken out lol I asked for gas.In US one costed 800USD the doc just slapped the gas mask and got it and in Poland the other costed only 400PLN and the doctor even came with 3 flavors of gas for me to choose.

The perpetrator of the accident on the A1 in which a family of three died remains elusive. He probably fled abroad, taking advantage of the time the prosecutor's office gave him before issuing an arrest warrant. If he escaped to a country that does not expel him to Poland, he is safe. Does anyone know what country I'm thinking of?

The extradition is being prolonged and all because of the cardinal errors of the Polish justice system. Changing the criminal classification of an act or convicting him in the media without a court verdict . Apparently, even Muslim countries do not want to accept this.

A 4-year-old girl who survived a serious car accident died six months later in another car accident while returning from rehabilitation after the first accident. Isn't this some kind of fate about her?

And the more someone travels the more they risk accidents.

Yes, for example, lightning strikes the cross on Giewont as if it were haunted

Polish truck driver a hero in Germany. Radio and television talk about him. He drove a burning truck out of the tunnel, thus avoiding a disaster. He drove a burning car for 6 km in a tunnel after he failed to extinguish a burning tire. You could say he escaped fate.

I don`t understand that hype. It is normal for Poles and Polesses. I already drove burning vehicles twice in my life.

Considering that he drove 6 km in a truck whose trailer was on fire like a torch, he looked like a real Ghost Rider.

a real Ghost Rider.

For a Pole or Poless, it is Easy Rider.
