Things we hate

@Paulina

Paulina... you still see the worst in me. All my romanticism is past the point. You don't understand me.

drinking tea with three sugars in.

Holy Mother of God, who on Earth cares how much sugar someone puts into their tea (putting aside health issues)...?? o_O

facepalm

you still see the worst in me

No RuSSian trends in fashion since the 18th century? :( Oh, Bobko, Bobko...

To be honest I found the tone so snobbish that it bordered on ridicule. Like a caricature.

It's one of those social shibboleths.

And this thread is, after all, about things we hate. And I hate tea or coffee with sugar. And Celine Dion.

All my romanticism is past the point.

My first pair of jeans was Soviet. Stolen from a warship.

It's one of those social shibboleths.

Where? In the UK?

Not by our standards.

"Our standards"? lol You do realise that royalty has existed outside of Europe too, right?

And this thread is, after all, about things we hate.

Yes, but the fact that someone likes what you hate doesn't mean that it makes them "a peasant", "non-royal" or that they have bad taste or whatever.

Something I hate is people who go online specifically to argue as a way of working off the myriad frustrations in their bitter, unfulfilled and single lives. Another is things like 'lol', a term used by individuals who think others care.

lol

This was a very nice thread about things people dislike. Not what others like and not about what you approve or disapprove of people hating. All you've done is try to attack other people's points of view because they differ from your own. Even (as in the last post) going back looking at older posts for things to try and criticise.

This isn't a debate and wasn't confrontational until you appeared.

This was a very nice thread about things people dislike.

There was nothing "nice" about what you and Bobko wrote about people wearing T-shirts and baseball caps and I was just reacting to it. This is a discussion forum.

And why this sudden personal attack? You have no other response to my previous comment? No counterarguments, no thoughts? :)

going back looking at older posts for things to try and criticise.

Those "old posts" are just from two hours ago :))) And if I were to quote from many comments at once I would get a warning for "excessive quoting", as I'm sure you realise :)

This isn't a debate and wasn't confrontational until you appeared.

I disagreed with your and Bobko's rather arrogant statements and I think I had a right to do that. You don't have to read my comments if they bother you so much :)

So much to unpack there. Better to stick to things we hate or like. Better not to kill a discussion.

Yes, I dislike tee shirts and baseball caps; I find them unappealing, unimaginative and generally made of low quality material. Plus of course, tee shirts, particularly on men over a certain age or who are overweight, rarely look good.

There was nothing "nice" about what you and Bobko wrote about people wearing T-shirts and baseball

Tough.

You were trying to pick arguments on every point you could. That never looks good.

Those "old posts" are just from two hours ago :))) And

Quite, and you went back after the 'discussion ' had moved on, trying to find things to criticise and look for things to 'lol' at. It is an unappealing trait and it wouldn't surprise me if you do the same to the man in your life.

Another thing I dislike in clothing is wearing sports shoes when not doing sport. That and men over 45 wearing blue jeans.

You were trying to pick arguments on every point you could.

Always a sure fire sign that a woman is not getting any c*ck, nitpicking and arguing for the sake of it.

Add to the fact that drinking tea is an english passion/pastime, it's like a pole saying they hate when someone drinks vodka at room temperature and paulina jumps in and says who cares?
Paulina 16 | 4,390

Better not to kill a discussion.

You contradict yourself :) First you don't want a discussion and now you claim you don't want to kill it :))

You were trying to pick arguments on every point you could.

No, I simply really, really dislike snobs. You just keep giving me more and more reasons to dislike you - amazing :)))

and you went back

Yes, because there was still something that I wanted to address - your European/Western snobbery. It's not up to you what other posters decide to address in their comments, so get over it, jon357. 🙄

Always a sure fire sign that a woman is not getting any c*ck, nitpicking and arguing for the sake of it.

That's one reason I prefer to work in a male environment and choose not to work for female bosses. I've only ever come across one who didn't do that (and she was slim, blonde, beautiful and c*ck crazy).

And of course, frustrated women who think they're always right or 'want to address' something that someone else said. I wonder when she last apologised to someone.

On the subject of hates. I'd add Dairylea and similar (the stuff they sell in Poland as ser topiony). It usually tastes of nothing (Dairylea has a little flavour added since the U.K. market prefers stronger cheese). Interestingly, though it's kept in supermarket chiller cabinets in Poland and the U.K., it doesn't actually need to be. There's nothing in it that isn't sterile, it can be left in a warm place and last for years. They put it in the chiller cabinets (like Sunny Delight, the U.K. version of that KubuÅ› muck) as a marketing thing, to make it seem like a fresh product that could go off. In Africa (it's almost the national dish in some African countries, that and cornflakes) they just leave it on a shelf and it never goes bad.

In your c*ck, your balls or your ar$e?
I reckon the last one, because you are talking $h1t.....

Have you not heard that Poles are drinking much less wodka now?

It's really amazing that when men want to discuss or even argue about something then it's OK, but when a woman does, and God forbid she disagrees or criticises a man, then it's suddenly "nitpicking and arguing for the sake of it" and comments that she's "not getting any c*ck".

You poor sods probably don't even realise what sad, pathetic sexists you are, both of you :)

I've never, ever attacked a man the way you're attacking me, the way I was attacked by johnny_reb and by GefreiterKania. I was also never attacked like this by other women.

It simply shows lack of class. You see, not wearing T-shirts doesn't make you automatically a classy person :)))

I also genuinely hate using Latin phrases (even ones that have come into English) to pepper speech with. Hate is never absolute though and I'll break my own rule to say: Quod Erat Demonstrandum.

I also dislike mixing quotes. I didn't know that until someone (hugely irritating sometimes but a very good person) said to me recently "come into my parlour, Maud". A mix of the most famous quotes of Mary Howlett and Lord Tennyson. I replied "and the black bat spider has flown" however it sadly went over his head.

Paulina, I am not a PC kind of guy and will always say what I think.
But these guys, along with JR Jim and Gefreiterkania are bang out of order!

What happened to the Polish gentleman?

These twats would not understand gentlemanly behaviour even when it slapped them in the face.
Too stupid to understand.

I understand that you are of a generation of women that just wants to be treated equally.
But I am of a generation that believes women should not just be treated equally, but with respect too.

You pretty much have the weasel pegged.
You mean his pussified brown nosing of Paulina to have some apron strings to hide behind makes you want to vomit too.
What I hate is a married Nerd sucking up to a woman half his age and calling it gentlemanly behavior while his wife is making him dinner.

How gentlemanly is that !
What a filthy schmuck.

Rubbish, I have insulted Jon, Pavian, Gefreite far worse in sexual terms, and they don't have a hissy fit. Stop being a precious polish princess and put your big girl pants on.

what sad, pathetic sexists you are, both of you

Are you denying there are psychological differences between male and female as a result of not being laid?

I suggest you find a religious PiS voting man, maybe with kids, who knows how to do the business in the bedroom. You'll be a lot happier and a lot less nitpicking and argumentative/whining. :)

What happened to the Polish gentleman?

You can shove your obsolete idea of the 'Polish Gentlemen', with the overuse of the Pan/Pani BS, who gets offended if you use ty, who holds a womans hand to climb a flight of stairs, holds a protective arm over her if there is a gust of wind, up your hairy ar*se.

Btw have you admitted to your wife how many times you have visited prostitutes/wh*res over the last 40 years?
jon357 74 | 22,060

who holds a womans hand to climb a flight of stairs

I always hold doors open for women. Sort of hard-wired behaviour consistent with domina drom a traditional environment. One difference though is that where I'm from, women can get abortions and the morning after pill, aren't expected to cook, clean and generally nanny and smother their men and nobody, even in a village, bats an eyelid if they choose to have a family without their kids's fathers present.

Since this is a hate thread, another thing I hate is the hypocrisy in PL of celebrating International Women's Day by men giving flowers to the Panis in their office.

One of my favourite ones. Wtf? Should I respond 'I had some last night or what?
It's basically a feel good cr*p for men when they are stomped for arguments
Paulina 16 | 4,390
7 Jun 2023 #205
@Lenka, exactly :D And I'd rather keep my dignity :)

You know what's funny (and what I hate about stupid, sexist men) - they complain how easy it is for women to get sex, as opposed to men, but somehow it's always women getting such low and vulgar comments from men (often the same men who whined about women having it easy) about not getting laid, and not the other way around :))) Where's logic in that? So, I'm guessing they must be projecting ;D

But love arguing just for the sake of it

Bullsh1t, jon357. You somehow only accuse me of such things when you run out of arguments in a discussion with me or I criticise you for something :) You are a weak and nasty person if you can't take criticism or the heat of discussion without resorting to such tricks and personal attacks of such nature. You also turned out to be a misogynist. How low can you go?

Rubbish, I have insulted Jon, Pavian, Gefreite far worse in sexual terms, and they don't have a hissy fit.

Then quote a comment to a PF man in which you wrote that he's "trying to pick arguments because he isn't getting any p*ssy". I dare you :)

Are you denying there are psychological differences between male and female as a result of not being laid?

:D :D :D
OMG, amiga500, do you claim that "not getting laid" doesn't affect men in any way or that it affects them less than women? Please, explain :D

What a hysterical rant.

It rather proves people's point.

When did you last apologise to someone?

When did you? Or is it the lack of shagging that makes you so friggit?
Paulina 16 | 4,390
7 Jun 2023 #209
@Lenka, I'd be even more curious when was the last time when jon357 admitted being wrong, because I don't think I've ever seen him doing that on PF :)

Oh, yeah, and I hate people who aren't able to admitt being wrong and, instead, they behave like jon357 does :)))

No but i can quote you a comment

Then do it or post a link to that comment :)

What a hysterical rant.

If it was "a hysterical rant" then it wouldn't be a problem for you to refute my arguments. But you won't do it, because I'm right :)

It rather proves people's point.

Which "people"? You and amiga500? ;D

You are a hopeless case, jon35, and I'm not going to waste any more of my time on this special day on a gay man, so... ;D 😎

Friggit? Is that a regiobsl slang term? Lack of 'shagging'? Hardly. If you're going to attempt slang in my language, do try to use it carefully.

Notice now that Paulina's on a rant and the thread is close to being trashed.,

Oh, yeah, and I

It seems that Paulina has a very short memory indeed (unless it's something she can feel aggrieved about and constantly bring up). I actually once apologised to her. I do regret that now, since I'd only done it out of politeness. I'd mistakenly thought she was offended rather than pretending to be and sitting on her high horse making 'lol' and 'o_O' noises.

I'd actually checked this thread just now to post about a hate, however someone has (as usual) turned it septic.
