TO SERIOSLY

That's "too seriously", you illiterate Spanish retard.

Are you back here for good or will you again use us and leave us all brokenhearted, like that Nigerian immigrant did to your mum?

DONT TAKE THE LIFE TO SERIOSLY ....

Good advice. Too many people mythologise a non-existent past, hate the present (and themselves) and are terrified of the future. It must be awful to live in such hate and fear. It's better to have fun since life is short enough.

Some things I hate? Instant coffee, television, alkies, fitted carpets and those ships you get now that are all electronic and have no shop workers.

I know nothing about AIDS

Nobody gets it nowadays, and in any case I'm probably immune since every test I have (usually for visas to difficult places ) comes back clear.

Too many people don't mythologise a too-real past.. Year Zero, Pol Pot, and all that..

Pol Pot

Fortunately long dead and sadly western society didn't act hard enough against him. His killing (which pales into insignificance compared to the victims of two centuries of capitalism) is something that probably nobody reading this was close to and most weren't alive to see.

But yes, authoritarianism and fanaticism were evils of the past yet there are still people who sit idly by grumbling about trannies or black faces on TV or clean air schemes while in fact they're just passively waiting for some dictator to repeat it all.

Does it? you're saying western colonialism massacred more than Pol Pot in Cambodia? I don't know if you've been in Cambodia but that's fu*king offensive!

authoritarianism and fanaticism were evils of the past y

That ideology which Comrade Pol Pot picked up in the socialist saloons in Paris in the 1960s is alive and well. Hopefully the sane in that milieu will prevent it from happening again.

Capitalism. Two centuries of it.

If he'd picked up Socialism, he'd not have been such a killer, would he...

You can't turn an agrarian society of savage peasants into an industrialised economy with the means of production belonging to those who do the work. And he never even tried.

If he'd picked up Socialism

Of course, the cliché response. "But that wasin't real socialism"
Don't worry comrade, forget about the kulaks ie you, it'll work next time.

Of course it wasn't. Not on any level, not at any point.

kulaks

They were his main supporters who did all the killing.

Wow, and i thought the Swiss, with their cows and their cow bells did a pretty good job of it? Cheese, Train Manufacturing, Tourism and Banking.

Next, you'll try to cite Monaco an an example of urbanisation or Qatar as an example of a low-taxation society.

And Switzerland is not all ski slopes. Their lowlands, bordering the cradle of continental technical development in France and Germany had a part.

That and their dodgy financial system, stashing away robbers' ill-gotten gains for their own profit.

'Millions' weren't eligible for one. They only conceal the plunder of the rich.

Yeah but in 2023. I believe it used to be called 'compassionate capitalism.' George W Bush came up with that.
Funnily enough, it hasn't been taken up. Now it's all DEI. (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion)
jon357 74 | 22,060

compassionate capitalism.'

No such thing, though, is there. Like 'trickle-down' economics, where the money only ever trickles up.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion

Perhaps you'd prefer Monotony, Inequity, Exclusion. Though I suspect you wouldn't.

Of course not. I believe in equality from birth. Equality from Birth through to Teenager, and then a Fair Go to each of their own through ability, random luck and conscience..

That's fair enough, however as a society we have a duty to ourselves (both selfish and altruistic) to enable each one of us to have the best life possible. It's good for society as a whole. The world has missed out on too much potential talent, too many people with things to give, due to petty prejudice and scrabbling for the crumbs that fall from the tables of exploiters who don't give a damn as long as they get that adrenaline rush from taking the money of others.

Cargo stop! You've had your fun for the last couple of years, time for you to make a positive contribution to this forum. Be a polite capitalist whilst boozing up i'm sure its within you.

Italians and Spaniards love them. I don't like Dutch ones, but e.g. Polish raspberry ones... yum, yum.
