@Bobko, to be honest, I prefer plain T-shirts on men (or at least with some small logos), but in case of those with something on them, I prefer to see something that is at least interesting/creative since I have an artistic soul :)

As for T-shirts and baseball caps being "for peasants"... This is Crown Prince of Dubai who graduated from Sandhurst, just like Prince William and Harry ;D:

Dubaiprince

Dubaiprince2

is still sadly in the infantile stage of her development.

Hey, I'm a zodiacal Gemini, so I'm supposed to be young at heart ;D

I'm not sure Atch, Paulina, and Lenka will be happy when I begin with women.

I'm not sure if I'm interested in what a snob like you has to say about women's clothes, but go ahead :))

and sandals or canvas casuals.

lol but no white knee high socks:))Sandals are not for me either unless going for fishing or beach.

T-shirts are for peasants.

I have to agree with a fu.cking ruski orc.

Levi jeans and a plaid red huntin' shirt with a bottle of Jack Danials.

LOL and a can of Copenhagen chewing tobacco in the front pocket of Levis or a pouch of Red Man in the back pocket:))

Fazza?

Not known for either taste or much else except bad poetry and being photogenic.

There's not much I take seriously. The exceptions are:

Switch tea for coffee and scratch alcohol and I'm much the same.

Yeah, I like that look too

It's flipping comfortable and relaxed.

more interesting stuff on T-shirts than beer and tractor logos :)

Today, I am wearing such a shirt.

Hardly a peasant though, is he?

He's a royal, not a peasant though :)))

Who would have thought that men put so much attention to clothes :D Amazing! :)))

Today, I am wearing such a shirt.

Cool :)

Hardly a peasant though

Closer than you'd think. Money and taste don't always go hand in hand.

He's a royal

Not by our standards. He's the son of an Emir. One of my closest friends is also the son of an Emir and he likes listening to Celine Dion and drinking tea with three sugars in.

Apologies for crudeness, and translate this in your head how you want:

"I fuc*ed this Prince in his mouth and his ass"

"I ****** this Prince in his mouth and his ass

If the internet is to be believed, he may well welcome this.

@jon357

This Prince is no Prince at all, and I have some Austrian and Italian princes as friends to know just how huge the gap in comparison is.

P.S. I feel they are less princes than I am, despite my septic tank origins.

Money and taste don't always go hand in hand.

Sure, but wearing T-shirts, shorts, baseball caps, whatever - casual wear, comfortable, practical clothes, when it fits the situation, doesn't automatically mean that someone has "bad taste". I'm sorry, but this is simply a ridiculous notion.

Nothing wrong with casual wear. Tee shirts, however, (unless you've the body of a model), baseball caps and shorts are a no no for me. Feel free to wear them, however I'll always consider them to be in poor taste.

Poland, sadly, is not known for high standards of male dress.

Whereas Russia has been a trendsetter since the 18th century. Eat sh*t, Polish peasants.

Cool :)

I bought it at the Monticello (Thomas Jefferson's plantation) gift shop. Talk about cool, Monticello is remarkably cool. If you ever travel to the US and are in Virginia, make sure you visit.

Good shape

I wish. Age is not a tender foe. :)

Last weekend, after a ton of visits to Mt. Vernon, and Monticello, I went for a private tour of the distillery.

@jon357, give me a good man in a T-shirt over a snobbish a$$hole in an Oxford shirt anytime :) *shrugs*

Feel free to wear them

I don't wear them anymore, but maybe I'll start because of snobs like you :D ;D

Did you think that Pole peasants have anything to compare to Moscow or St. Petersburg?

Go back to Ukraine topics, before you embarrass your provincial self.

@Bobko

No kidding. :)

I knew there was a vineyard owned by Monticello that made its own wine, but not a distillery. How was it?
Bobko 25 | 2,108

How was it?

They let me chuck the wheat, and then they let me see the mill running.

In short - it was amazing.

Where is it located? Did you try any of the spirits?

We did n't have time to visit Mt Vernon. What did you think of it?

It's located where you can find it on Google Maps. Yes they did offer a whisky tasting. Yes my mom drove me back to my hotel.

That's close to assuming that people in tee shirts are more likely to be good and that people who dress well are more likely to be either snobbish, or ar$eholes or both.

Tee shirts are so often a lack of self-respect.

I don't wear them anymore, but maybe I'll start

If you've the figure and age for it, feel free. Take care to get tailored ones though and avoid company logos (unless you own the company).

I don't know, Bobko, it's you who claim that your country was a trendsetter in fashion since the 18th century, so why don't you educate us about it :) I never claimed that Poland introduced some kind of fashion trends to the world :))

That's close to assuming that people in tee shirts are more likely to be good

No, I meant that what kind of clothes people put on their backs is, in reality, unimportant nonsense.

Tee shirts are so often a lack of self-respect.

In all honesty, I think it's actually exactly the opposite... People who put so much attention to what they're wearing and build their self-esteem on it, are probably the ones who lack confidence and have low self-esteem... Confident people don't care about such things that much, because they know what they're worth with or without "good" clothes, imho.

People who put so much attention to what they're wearing and build their self-esteem on it

Civilized people, yes.

don't know, Bobko, it's you who claim that your country was a trendsetter in fashion since the 18th century

Yes, if you don't know that Russians take fashion very seriously, that's your mistake.
jon357 74 | 22,060

No, I meant that what kind of clothes people put on their backs is, in reality, unimportant nonsense.

One thing that I've observed over the years and decades is that dress sense often reflects self esteem. Dressing well can make people feel better about themselves too so it works both ways. Men in particular often forget this.

I don't mean buying sprees. A friend in Warsaw has yards of wardrobe space stuffed full of really cheap clothes from Bershka, H&M and probably Primark too, things he's just worn once and in any case don't last well in any sense. He buys things every month and hardly wears them. Better to save up and get something nice.

I probably spend less than him overall, certainly have fewer clothes, yet go for better ones that last. I always think it's better to be slightly overdressed than underdressed.
Paulina 16 | 4,396
6 Jun 2023 #178
Civilized people, yes.

You mean, like... the Taliban?? :)))) ;D 🤦

Yes, if you don't know that Russians take fashion very seriously

I've only heard that they like to show off big logos of expensive fashion brands :))

But we're not talking about RuSSians "taking fashion seriously". You claimed that RuSSia was a trendsetter in fashion since the 18th century, so let's hear it - I'm all ears. What trends has RuSSia introduced to the world/Europe since the 18th century :) As a woman I'm honestly curious :)
Bobko 25 | 2,108

I'm so drunk - I can't engage in no more "serious conversation".

1) I dress rarely. But I dress like a Cossack on his last allowance in Paris.

2) I still fall in love with shockingly beatiful women, and I cannot resist their charm
Paulina 16 | 4,396

@jon357, obviously, everyone wants to look good, etc. and that's natural. But the level of your, Bobko's (and Cargo's, I guess) snobbery, the way you look at it - this is really off-putting for me.
