=gumishu]a couple of weeks after the elections can be very heated

Also before. :):):)

I don`t remember being so stressed at the time of previous elections. :):):)

I am really looking forward to PO`s victory.

Will Poland be saved from harmful maniacs, criminal freaks and ultra patriots?

Poland will never crumble.

heh - based on what?? - I think you will change your mind in 2013 when your energy bill soars, fuel price soars (one of the easiest ways to raise tax), your client base shrinks by 2/3 and - Poland's debt in 2010 has grown the most in the whole EU (relative to PKB) - i very much doubt it's gonna be much (if any better) this year (I'm pretty sure that if the zloty remains week till the end of the year and beyond the debt will grow faster than the last year - in this scenario we will see a massive budget cuts next year - inlcuding LOWERING of wages in public sector (think teachers))

I tend to agree but it depends how big a dunt certain outside forces want to hit it.

the hit is already taken actually - 1. gas deal with Russia (Poland pays more than Germany - it reflects on competitiveness of whole Polish industrial sectors) will also affect internal demand (higher gas prices for everyone - less money to spend for the population) 2. European CO2 agreements (claimed to be some kind of a great achievement for Poland by Donald Tusk - yes everyobody in Europe was happy - so if we can please Europe it's such an achievement - everybody likes us, huh - it's just in Poland that the energy prices will start to rise drastically nowhere else (natural gas benchmark)) - it will cost equally every consumer and every business - some sectors like mining are very much electricity dependant (at least 1/4 for of their costs is energy bills) - will Poland be better off when the KGHM and coal mining sector close? sure

LOWERING of wages in public sector (think teachers))

I'm not sure it's possible to lower teachers' wages. As a university teacher I earn less than a shelf stacker in Biedronka. I'm not joking. Really, I'm not joking. Luckily I have a few other jobs that keep the wolf from the door.

Come on. How much do you and a Biedronka assistant take for an hour?

Your silly answer only corroborates my belief that you are an idiot. :):):):)

My request - can you stop writing BS about your salary and Biedronka worker`s wages?

Surely not.For your information KGHM is the 6th copper and the 2nd silver producer in the World.Poland would be better off with few more KGHMs since KGHM provides jobs (well paid jobs since avg pay in KGHM is 9000 PLN/month) for thousends of Polish people and bilions of USD to Poland's budget. And you want to close it???You better get your head examined.

a completely fresh candidate for a suspension - well, well :)

people you really need to work on your sarcasm skills - being bluntly offensive or malicious is primitive, or isn't it?

Where are the mohair beret brigade now, btw? Did they give up after the cross was removed? Ran out of youth to bash? PiS haven't acknowledged their undying support in their election campaign ;) ;)

grubas - you shouldn't comment on my post after more than one beer - a typical human being after more than one beer is prone not to able to detect irony - and I pretty often use irony (you will have to probably take my word for that that the 'sure' was very much an instance of irony)

Some guys don`t deserve precious sarcasm. It is like putting pearls before swine.

=gumishu]and I pretty often use irony

Not so often. And when you do, it is very low quality. :):):):)

Can you do sth about it? :):):)

emotional outbursts drain the energy - cross thing was one big emotional outburst - it doesn't mean there won't be smaller outbursts but the people now most probably feel tired visualising being again in the same situation

At the end of the day, we're going to laugh in your face repeatedly next Sunday/Monday after PiS loses yet again. I look forward to watching Kaczynski's humiliating resignation.

Can't wait(:

(English : it's a video showing football hooligans and the "Defenders of the Cross" using violence - and reminding voters that those people will vote - in essence, linking PiS to violence, which is true anyway)

It's brilliant!!!!!! is this going tot be shown on mainstream TV?

Good i hope they keep on playing it a million times before the election comes to convince those that were hesitating to get out and vote.

It is the politics of Hope VS the politics of hate and fear. I know which side of the ledger I stand on(:

I think you only know which side of the 'ledger' or whatever it is you think you are standing on - Mr V. Iljich Ulianov coined a 'polyezniy idiot' term - sometimes you should ponder if you haven't become one

Be honest what would your response be if PO supporters behaved the way PIS supporters do?

Yup.

It's devastatingly simple - and PiS have no retort to it.

Be honest what would your response be if PO supporters behaved the way PIS supporters do?

Well, when Palikot took to offending PiS repeatedly, they howled, cried and demanded all sorts.

I think one thing is certain - after this election, PiS voters are likely to be punished.

You are taking one incident perpetrated by a madman and somehow equating it to the behaviour of thousands of PIS supporters who behave like that on a consistent basis. Sorry I fail to see your point. And incidentally what you think happened that provoked the reaction of the person in question? Was it Kaczynski's language of love and unity by any chance?

no, it was Radek Sikorski's language of love (' Jeszcze jedna bitwa, jeszcze dorżniemy watahy, wygramy tę batalię! '), Władysław Bartoszewski's language of love ('Pisowskie bydło'), and Janusz Palikot's language of love (' kciuk.pl/Palikot-Kaczynskiego-zastrzelimy-i-wypatroszymy- a17496') - just a small sample

Well I find Bartoszewski's observation very apt, how else would you describe the PIS supporting Kioble?

Regarding Sikorski, he was obviously speaking metaphorically, plenty of politicians use military terminology-especially during campaign time, and it wasn't specifically addressed to PIS people-I suspect you know that.

As for Palikot, if you don't want him to form the next government with PO-as the polls indicate will be likely, then may I suggest you lend your support to PO so they don't have to rely on Palikot? Have you ever thought about that? What will be better a PO/Palikot led government, or a PO government? You know very well the PIS will not form the next government, even if they the win the majority of the vote (which will never happen)

It's your choice.

Well I find Bartoszewski's observation very apt, how else would you describe the PIS supporting Kioble?

it was well before Kaczyński ever thought of embracing 'kibole' - it is a very recent thing - while Baroszewski said what he said during the 2007 parliamentary campaing - many PO supporters are very fond of 'Pisowskie bydło' untill today as you can see from internet comments

You do know that he isn't even a PO member don't you? Yes he supports PO out of conviction, but he is not a member. I am surprised that would question the judgment of an individual who fought the nazis and the communists, very odd. Have you ever considered what prompted those comments? What if I were to tell you that when he was laying flowers on the tombs of those who died, and by whose side he fought in the Warsaw Rising, he was jeered and abused by PIS supporters and called a traitor, how does that make you feel as a PIS supporter proud?

So what do you want it to be, a Palikot/PO government or a PO government?

And as a side note a very moving radio address by Tusk to all Poles, love the background music, very moving.
