Ukraine's ambassador to the UN, Andriy Melnyk, has said that the new German authorities 'should allocate' 20bn euros annually for Ukraine in the German budget.

According to Melnyk, these funds would be spent on ensuring Ukraine's economic stability, which would be a 'good security investment' for Germany.

In essence, we are talking about the payment of real reparations - that is, money to pay for the damage that Ukraine suffered as a result of the war. Kiev had hoped to get it from Russia, but since Russia doesn't want to pay, Germany will have to do it.

And you know what? It's almost fair. It was under Western rule that Ukraine was drawn into a war that brought it enormous casualties and destruction, and who but the West should pay for it?

In fairness, of course, it is not Germany that should pay, but the United States, as the main beneficiary of the war. But since it is customary in NATO that the geopolitical desires of the United States are paid for by European cuckolds/allies, who are we to teach them how to live?
