Don't want others to join us at a table - is it normal for Polish girls to get angry?

I did the same thing to a guy in Poland a few years back, just playing around really, call it a social experiment.

This English guy basically came to Poland and fell in love with an Agnus, i met him and his mate a day after he met this chick and told him next time hes in Poland to give me a ring and we'll get a drink. So he did a few weeks later and he was with Agnus, and i have to say she was a stunner. I just started bragging about money and business and all that shite and she just totally blanked him and moved right on to me. He was sat there like a little lost puppy as his girl was giving me all the attention. Moral of the story she was a Polish gold digger, all smiles and lipstick, tits and legs, but not worth a thing. Most of them seem to think that a Porsche car and nice house are the be all and end all of everything, truth is it isnt they just think others will be jealous and look up to them. Trophies, nothing more.

Women are a funny breed like that, its friggen tough catching a good one....

It's not about me, it's about being inaccurate.

Jewish or other, he gave an insightful opinion which highly suggested that he knows what he's talking about.

I was just moving back to my seat because I sat beside him to ensure he understood what I meant,

That explains it all. You are one of those jerky guys who has to stupidly show off his maleness in an aggressive manner. Sometime you will sit "beside" the wrong guy.

Males who behave in this 'top gorilla' manner usually have insecurity issues.

he actually tried to half threaten me.

You mean, after you sat next to him? Do you ever assess your own behavior?

Tried to say he was house mates with the bouncer, but I honestly couldn't care less who he is friends with.

Sounds like he was being reasonable and well mannered. Yet you need to back yourself up by being the tough guy about his "friends".

Maybe I shouldn't have said anything to the guy but I thought I'd made it clear to her I didn't want him around

This was a SECOND DATE dufus. You had no claims on her!

I don't think he is better looking, more intelligent, would treat her better or has a better job ...

Maybe he was more of a 'man' in the real sense of the word. One other thing; women can have male friendship without your consent.

Sounds like she fancied him more than you.

It was their second date. Of course that old good friend of mine would mean more for me than a person I met barely two times... However she acted very rude.

Graba$$ my dear fellow, you're still single right?

I was already married twice (both Americans) sissy boy.And I am not going to be 3 rd time.

She disrespected her date, end of.

Maybe SHE didn't consider it to be a date?

I thought this was my a game haha, but maybe I got too sucked in by her apparent kindness and thought she would appreciate the manners etc. The old saying treat em mean is true. @midas

It is one big game and you have to play it well to be winner IMO.

It was their second date. Of course that old good friend of mine would mean more for me than a person I met barely two times... However she acted very rude.

Rubbish, if she was really into him wild horses wouldn't have dragged her away. When true passion, love, future what ever are in the air, its almost like nobody else in the world exists. Even so you still have to play it cool till she's yours and you know it.

This one isnt going to work, from what ive read the biggest mistake you made was giving her too much respect too early.

I was already married twice (both Americans) sissy boy.

Even better, failed marriages, i suppose it was their fault TWICE of course.

Do you have any children from those two marriages?

i also think she kept talking to the other guy in the hope that confused82 would take the hint.

If that's true, it speaks volumes(all negative I'm afraid)

I think you misinterpret me, I don't mind girls having male friends, I wouldn't even mind him staying for a drink but two hours nah mate, I'm not having it. When I take a chick out, I do not consider her fair game and would normally have reacted a lot quicker, so don't give me this no claims thing. If she told me look I don't think we are going anywhere I would have been disappointed but accepted graciously. @ZIMMY

Fully agree with you, I got carried away on how I was feeling and she seemed to be keen on how things were going till this point. Will not make this mistake again. @Wroclaw Boy

He resembles me those embittered women who are male-hater just because they met one wrong guy, with that difference he is a man and the object is a woman. :)

Brutal assessment @plgrl
It's more ego damage at this stage than anything, your right if had got more down the line it could have been more messy, I've been through a custody case with mother of my child and all sorts over the last 3/4 years, so not much can really upset me with chicks @Wroclaw Boy

I believe we're not going to reach a consensus here.

Some of us come from a culture in which what she did is, as was nicely put here, highly disrespectful to her date ( Confused ). I for one remain convinced that he was being VERY BLOODY PATIENT, I mean he waited for 2 hours before he told the guy to leave and made sure his "date" wasn't in earshot when he did it.

Others come from a culture where it is perfectly ok for a female to organise competitions during a date on which she agreed to go on with one of the guys. So, you're basically ok with a Polish Princess being a law unto herself and setting her own rules because she's so special. And based on that belief you guys hurl some insults at the threadstarter, which is rather uncalled for.

Perhaps this will at least partially convince some of you...

Let's say I'm really trying to go out on a date with this 35-year-old woman, who happens to be a well respected professional and has a rather stable personality. So I'm working my charms, she doesn't exactly consider me the man of her dreams but she agrees to give me a go and we go on a date.

So I take her to a fancy nightspot and 10 minutes into our date I see a 25-year-old girl I know, I ask her to sit by our table and I spend the rest of the "date" talking to the younger girl and telling her how pretty her eyes are.

Now I'm rather sure that some of you would call me a complete dickhead for doing that. Yet, despite the fact that this example is almost a carbon copy of what happened to the threadstarter, you fail to place any blame on his date.

And as for gfs I have had about 3 dozens of them. From Poland (many),Russia,USA,Czech Rep,Slovakia,Latvia,New Zeland and even ******* Nepal.Believe it or not I don't care.Dude I live in Ocean City MD every sommer there is plenty of chicks from different countries around here.@Wroclaw Boy aka sissy boy.

It is indeed very mature to point towards the number of women one had relations with as proof of one's knowledge of the female mind.

Way to go, grubas.

He resembles me those embittered women who are male-hater just because they met one wrong guy, with that difference he is a man and the object is a woman. :)

Madam, please keep your playground psychology out of this topic.

I understand that you might be annoyed by the fact that I've bested you in a discussion once or twice, but calling me names isn't the way to deal with it :-)

Beware of deceit and lack of culture. Sitting with one foot in one country and one in another provides limited stability and an inclination towards flightiness. The whole realm of ugly behaviour can come out when one is not settled.

Maybe next time, in similar situation, you should try suggesting that you both go to another spot, under the pretext of better music, crowd, atmosphere?

I would, without a shadow of doubt, spare my date the utter embarrassment of having to sit around and watch me pay my full attention to someone else. Such behaviour is rude and speaks volumes about one's character.

OK guys, I think I'm gonna sign out now, but I will come back with an update next weekend.

Best of luck then.

This reminds me of ye olden days ( also known as the 80's :-) ) when I had a company ( a "firma polonijna" ) up and running in Warsaw. Back then no sensible wife/girlfriend would allow their man to go on a business trip to the Eastern Block, because women from Eastern Europe simply stopped at nothing in their pursuit of a "Western man".

So back then I often cooperated with a local, Polish guy who at the time was a young and up-and-coming professional and now is a middle aged, bald rich guy who doesn't need to work anymore. He was pretty good at his job and I actually recommended him to a number of people, which in turn contributed to him having a halfway decent start-up capital when Poland decided to embrace capitalism. But I digress.

When we cooperated in the 80's he adhered to one golden rule - never, under any circumstances, would he allow his then young and pretty wife to attend any social meetings where us - foreigners doing business in Poland - would be present. I think it went as far as him actually not telling us he was married for quite some time. His reasoning was simple - he believed his young WIFE ( not girlfriend or fiancee ) would leave him if she ever met a foreigner.

I guess he heard you coming even back then, Wroclaw :-)

Generally in slavic countries the concept of dating is quite obscure.Sometimes they really date in big pairs and it is possible that your girl bangs your friend while his one gets to your lap. This communistic share of girls does contrast to the western and mediteranean ideal of posession however if you get used to that you become totally comfortable eg while you flirt with your gf's girlfriend you can touch the legs of her sister while your girl promises to sb else sth for the night. An interesting situation that many foreigners fail to understand. Also it is better when girls cheat openly because then they cannot become posessive over you I mean there is no remorse. However Balkan power as usual solves every problem and is the source as everyone contests.

Is this normal for polish girls?

if the date was sh*t and one of my friends happened to be at the same bar then HELL YES i would invite them over ha ha. seriously though, if they just come over to say hi and are gone within a few minutes then it's perfectly fine but 2 hours is kinda pushing it. nevertheless, the person you should've complained to about this situation should have been the girl and it would have to be very polite, saying you'd love to arrange a meet up with her friend on another occassion to get to know him better. threatening her friend is wrong on every level, if her friends don't like you then they'll do their best to get you out of the picture. if you are seriously interested in that girl then I suggest you apologise to her friend and to her and say it will never happen again - and make sure it won't. her friend was rude for staying so long but she made him feel welcome, she should have been the one to tell him to leave, not you. you made yourself look like a control freak.

Generally if you don't like sth on a date or process do some tests and of the girl fails to pass them just leave.I had the opportunity to take my revenge today the Polka's mouth turned into truckdriver's one from swearing but if you are sensitive I am sensitive too unfortunately sensitivity hits guys as well.

Generally I had some worse experience for example once I followed a polish girl after the date without her noticing and I saw her meeting another guy who waited in a place nearby! For fun I pretended that I came there by accident and started talking to her getting all her attention till the other guy came threatening.Anyway one should never care since when he separates these girls and gets some true information they will inform him about a new bf every month while keeping the rest so why be annoyed?Except if faithfullness hit only during the specific time due to unimaginable charm.
