@jon357, it is spamming (or trolling, depending on the intention, I guess) if you're confusing people by posting photographs in a thread about paintings and you're not even informing that they're not paintings.
I haven't noticed any so far.

I'm sure that given a very stiff upper lip, years of counselling, an iron will and fortitude, a Xanax prescription and an emotional support dog, they will eventually get over the sheer trauma of seeing art applied to canvas, board and paper by a whole variety of media, even; projected on to it rather than traced on by a wizened old man using a camera obscura or perspective machine.
If they do really well at the counselling they may be able to progress to gouache and ink.

I don't like it when people mislead others regardless if it's RuSSian propaganda or scammers on Facebook posting AI generated images as real watercolour paintings in order to get likes.
If you're too lazy to make a thread about photography then next time at least be honest enough to inform people what you're actually posting.

@Paulina, I found the picture of the man with a pipe because of the "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" reference however unwittingly I've found a Polish artist I'd barely heard of and hadn't really looked at.

Ah, this wooden villa, so appropriately lit and with a Christmas tree in the garden would be a perfect Xmas card. That's true.
This is interesting. She paints on paper towels and is due to exhibit in Paris. Her name is Helena Minginowicz.

Yes, it's an original idea. And difficult to execute, I imagine. It's going to be a nightmare for art conservators one day though lol
