Do colored immigrants in Poland function better than in Western countries?

assimilation

Those days are gone.

Once, someone who emigrated from, say, Poland, needed a short wave radio to hear their own language, couldn't get kielbasa for love nor money and needed to save half a year's wages to visit home.

Now, people have all the TV channels they had at home, the entire internet at their fingertips and of course Ryanair Stansted-Modlin is often cheaper and always quicker than PKP Warsaw-Szczecin (and that includes airport travel/waiting).

And if ever the concept of Australia is introduced to the new arrivals, it's in the sociological concept of Australia being a colonial, genocidal, racist entity. Rather than a multicultural country we should all be proud of.

Something to blame Yank academics seeking to impose their views on others and r*SSian and Chinese propagandists seeking to undermine the free world are very much to blame for.

If you tell a Canadian or american with Polish roots that they can gain citizenship

the problem is, during communism it was viewed that all those that did not return and rebuild the the socialist utopia republic of poland and bring their western money were viewed as unpatriotic, and that view is vaguely latent amongst the decision makers of our post communist system. PiS made some valiant efforts, there was a good website, hence your return :)

Those days are gone.

of course. the days of polish children being caned in australian schools in the 50s is over. but that does not negate the fact how do you introduce western values to new migrants for cultures that are opposite without being called racist by the new fake left?

let me expand on that.
how do u educate Deobandi paki and bangla new arrivals that it's acceptable for women in England to not wear the veil and choose their own beliefs? And for their own to marry non muslims and kuffars are o.k to be friends with, without of being accused of cultural and English supremacy and the R word? or it's all good in the hood of England and it'll all work out?
Please explain.

Or any children.

You do hear sad stories in Poland though about the way school staff, especially so-called catechicists (too early to care about spelling) treat children with one or both parents from overseas.

I've a feeling that that boat has now sailed; the numbers are too large.

But not in Poland guv.. And that's the whole point of obrona granic movement. whatever about the politics, it's a national feeling based on centuries of history and that's it. It's about the polish soul, ugly or beautiful.

I understand this. My paperwork took years to get in order and hundreds of hours in the archives to find certain documents. I dont think you would find Polish Americans that are over 50 or 60 who would come, it doesnt give them an advantage. I think you see a lot of those people 18 to 40 who would jump on it. Younger people who want to avoid paying 60 to 100K per year for a college education would be very enthusiastic. A small D3 college averages 50K per year, this year we have 27 clients attending Polish universities taking classes in English with all costs, including a meal plan and housing for about 14K, and graduating in 3 years instead of 4. It took less than 5 months to get that many interested. Granted only 4 have Polish ancestry, and 2 of them have Polish passports, but if the government made a real effort, this could easily take off. Imagine billboards in NY, Chicago, Connecticut, Maine, and a few other places advertising this. I have to believe the response would be tremendous.

It really isn't is it? Comparing England to Poland lol like comparing sledzie and black pudding.

We all of us have that.

Sure but the pakis and banglas have it about the islamic empire that invaded india and not mother england.

comparing sledzie and black pudding.

They're much closer than you think albeit very different in some noticeable ways, however (in common with most island countries) England has a more complex and robust culture, one which outsiders think they understand but never ever do.

islamic empire that invaded india

The Moghul Empire and its dramatically sudden fall should be compulsory learning in American schools.

England is an empire Island ship faring nation totally different from the Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth. Gdansk like Rotterdam was our seafairing city and in touch with all cultures by means of trade.

the Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth

Effectively landlocked and invaded by everyone; hence its multicultural past and future.

Gdansk

A great Hanseatic city.

Penny stock degrees if i ever saw sone, the polish university are the worst at amerykanski rynek just like the warsaw/krakow taxis. imagine if the american unis where teaching in chinese. what does a degree in the english language in poland get you as a yank? apart from a cleaner or sh*t entry position in new york main street?

Granted only 4 have Polish ancestry, and 2 of them have Polish passports,

So what are the non-Poles going to do till when their student visa expires? Try and F*ck polish women and men and have babies?, or Go Back Where You Came From.
made a real effort, this could easily take off. Imagine

Hey bro since you seem to be in the education market already why don't you get off your ass and make an effort instead of relying on the polish government? BTW considering your polak background, 4 out of 27 polish ancestry into the uni is pretty p*ss weak.

Not in the education market. In the sports market. Just happens they overlap sometimes. A degree from a Polish university is just as good as many from the US. International business, logistics and supply chain management, cyber security and other programs are highly regarded internationally. But yes, I expect them to bang a lot of Polish girls while they are here. It is college after all.

True. But it's not American College as they know the universe. It's Poland... hahah
I must admit enrolled a Polish Language short course at Jagielionian in Krakow two decades+ past.. had access to the welcome to polish culture jagelonian uni teachers. Lots of yank polak students and yank girls trying to grind me on the uni dancefloor haha

A degree from a Polish university is just as good

I got mine from WUT, Wydzial Lacznosci i Automatyki, in 1966. A year later, I was happily employed at Stewart Warner Electronics in Chicago.

Nobody asked me to show my diploma then and since ... Nobody asked me for my pronouns, either...

This suggests that a university degree was not needed to perform the activity. For example, a cloakroom attendant or a toilet attendant or a night watchman? 🤔

Exactly 10 years ago, the German Chancellor, Mrs. Merkel, spoke prophetic words: Wir schaffen das. And she was right. 🙂

And she was right

Alien, even the most left-leaning media doubts that very much today.....as their life was so much easier before, without a rising AfD.

Probably the only one (beside you) who still stubbornly insists it was the right thing to do, is Merkel herself! 😕

PS: The next group of Afghans gets flown in today....and oh wonder, no cheering masses for them....no thrown teddy bears anywhere...one wonders what happened!

Apparently she recently said she had no idea it would be so difficult to deport those refused asylum....

What a dreadful leader... in office about 7 years too long....

What a dreadful leader..

Sometimes I get very angry but then....remember....she is an Ossi! She had no idea about West-Germany, its long grown political culture...the CDU was for her not so much different as the SPD or FDP back then...no bondings to the values, the history or the former leader at all...West-Germany was a foreign country for Ossis!

Maybe one shouldn't blame her to much, she led as she understood it, more from the gut than from the brain, with not enough schooled knowledge about a capitalist economy or a long standing democratic society...not so much like a common conservative leader should....but how could she? She just hadn't been born and bred into the same circles...

Maybe the real ones to blame here are the Wessis in the CDU, the party-politicians who nodded to everything, supported every crap she did or didn't do just because it got them and later kept them the power, the influence in Berlin...and not at least the money!

They surely knew better....and together they changed the former conservative CDU into a strange party, something the german lefties praised and cheered for.... but left millions of real conservative Germans politically homeless...but hey, whenever have non-voter really disturbed anyone in elections, right?

....but then came the AfD and offered a real alternative for them...and whooopsie!

Bye bye plans for reduced police force.... it turns out that letting in hundreds of thousands of young men from chaotic societies who are unable to function in a western high function society

How common is this kind of thing now compared to before 2015...

In what possible since was 2015 a success?

Shame...

Only those who helped the Bundeswehr during its time in Afghanistan arrived. Such people are not officially welcomed for their own good.

Much easier said than done, as history has always shown.

Quite.

Wasn't it the same in East Germany?

Without the resistance (and some help from Gorbatschow) the wall would still stay (and the Wessi-Lefties be still happy)....

The inner civil opposition in these jailed countries had the biggest part of the Commie's losing the Cold War, the "war of the systems", even more than the western weapons and their democratic capitalism!

Much easier said than done,

But at least a tiny life sign....something...anything.....who else should fight for their freedom???

The poor and oppressed masses can't all leave for the West....the world doesn't work like that!

You complain quite a lot that they are doing precisely that.

Migration will only increase rather than decrease over the century; the only question is whether societies respond well or badly.

the only question is whether societies respond well or badly.

Our societies, depending on a common nation with a common identity, a nation state and its symbols, won't survive that....you can see the thing cracking already when you watch the news.

Ironic that especially the internationalist Left will be the most to suffer from the end of the age of the nations....because they absolutely needs its rules and workings! They will hardly survive in a tribal world...even when they got what they wanted, no real borders anymore.

In a future world with huge migration movements across the globe it will be back to tribalism....whites, browns, blacks, christians, muslims, european, africans, asians....whatever groups will find themselves and build on each other, with each other...against the other, any other!

Yes, migrational movements have existed since the beginning of mankind, but tribes have too....most people forget that important part, and won't see what will come after a nation state has no real nation anymore...only masses of disagreeing people who give a *** about said nation but only care anymore about their "own"!
