Yes, she deserted Poland and she is proud of it! Why shouldn't she?

I deserted Britain and returned to Poland and I am proud of it, Maybe Marta will retire back in Poland one day, with a UK pension and savings she could live like a Queen.

Merged: Are you proud to be Polish? If so why?

Some people say: What is there to be proud of? One has no control over what nationality one happens to be born into. Others are genuinely proud of their ancestry and cultural heritage. If you are amongst them, please give a reason or mutliple reasons why. Serdecznie dziękuję.

I've always tried to be most knowledgeable as possible about my ethnic ancestry. Even though I already knew that my mother's babcia, Johanna Eisner that emigrated from Poland, was according to the belief of our family 100% Ashkenazi Jewish. And even though before my mother's dziadzio emigrated from Poland too, because of the way my maternal grandfather looked I knew that there had to be something in his ancestry different because he definitely didn't look Ashkenazi Jewish or Polish at all. A very in-depth DNA test told me that I have 17% Slavic DNA, 4.37% Ashkenazi Jewish DNA, 14.5% Mediterranean DNA, and 2.2% South Asian DNA. I found out that my mother's paternal grandfather bcrypt me a mixture of Polish ancestry, Romanian ancestry, and the 2.2% South Asian DNA came from the Roma that most people are lot more familiar with their nickname Gypsies. Ethnic ancestral percentages and ethnic DNA percentages are two different topics

The Poles have a proud heritage, sadly ignored, often maligned by the West.

In the end, we are all mongrels of some sort.
There is no pure race as The Nazis believed.
Very few Poles could prove that they have no Jewish blood in them.
Just enjoy your rich heritage!

NAZI's were not stupid so I don't think they expected 100% purity. Just pure enough, like Polish women giving birth to Aryan babies.
