It looks like the Polish church has no policy at all currently.

Polish church has no policy

Well, they called the police when some activists disrupted a mass service.

Can't you teach them the differance of the words: killing, murder, excecution, sin, morals, choice, sacred and stupidity?

I don`t teach religion at school. :):) I only allude to the existence of God, and that`s all.

As a Polish teacher, one should learn their pupils meaning of words. I didn't ask for you to teach them what God expects from them

meaning of words

What are words in comparison to the Almighty?? Nothing. Rubbish. You need to change certain prerogatives in your life.

I am reading about the third case within one month that local believers in a small community are threatening to put their nasty priest onto the wheelbarrow and removing him from their parish. Amasing.

Things are definitely changing in Poland..... The priest on a wheelbarrow. Unbelievable.

KIELCE
The parish priest in Fałków was almost taken away on the wheelbarrow. "Pack up yourself!"
In the parish of St. Of the Trinity in Fałków, the church goers stirred up a rebellion against the new parish priest. It was provoked by increasing the fees for religious services and the treatment of the organist. There was a demonstration in front of the church last Sunday. The atmosphere was very tense, and insults flew towards the clergyman. Eventually, the priest stepped down from his position - reports the local newspaper "Echo Dnia".

Another priest in Pacanów was also threatened with a wheelbarrow ride. :):)

Fr. Leszek Domagała has been the parish priest of the Basilica of St. st. Martin in Pacanów for 12 years. Some parishioners believe that he "terrorizes the city and its inhabitants." They accuse him, among others, of intimidating, humiliating and even using force.

Unbelievable. People protest against their own priest. What is going on???

Parishioners demanded that the bishop removed the troublemaking priest from his office. That didn`t happen. The priest commented on the whole affair: I have already forgiven them. hahahaha

The clergy are said to support and favour rightwing politicians, especially the ones who rule Poland nowadays.

3 years after the OP`s post, the things look no better for the RC Church in Poland. The number of people attending Sunday mass and the number of students attending RC religion classes at schools have been falling steadily. And the trend will continue coz still too many Church officials allow themselves to be openly critical of the new gov and the changes in the law that are planned, e.g, same sex partnerships acknowledged by the state.

Is that what your lizard mind tells you? Do you think that is the reason? The Pope a commie and a heretic. LGBT is a nonsense Marxist ideology. Perverts are perverts and marriages are marriages.

Homosexual sex acts are a sin but not punishable by the law and that is where tolerance begins and ends. All the rest is a perversive progressive ideology aimed to subjugate people into a totalitarian thraldom ruled by an elitist few.

Still, nice to know that commies are worried about the state of the Church. lol!

Exactly. And it is not possible to bless a sin - something which Comrade Bergoglio seems to have forgotten. I can't think of any other Pope (maybe with the exception of John XXIII and his decision to call Vaticanum Secundum) who would introduce so much confusion and chaos into the Church's teaching.

that commies are worried about the state of the Church.

Commies aren`t worried. It is decent people like me who are worried coz the Church helped us get rid of communism and was an important element integrating the nation.

However, they made wrong choices when they decided to openly support the rightist and nationalist parties. And they are paying for it now with falling numbers of believers.

The Polish RC Church regularly shows they refuse to learn on their mistakes. Despite heavy criticism of their open and official support for certain political party aka rightist PiS, they still allow politicians to use churches as their rally podiums. Simply amaSSing!

Because you see Christianity as a tool while it is a way of life and it does not need anything external.

Because too many people not only see it as a tool but also used it as such to accomplish their personal goals are mad at all Christians for no good reason. True Christians would give you a shirt of their back if they found you shirtless and needing one.

Christianity as a tool

Exactly. RC clergy see their church as a tool to collect more power and wealth. They supported rightist PIS not for free. It is a known thing that PIS during their recent rule generously sponsored the church and affiliated organisations with hundreds of millions of PLN.

So what? Save us from your peasant Soviet mentality. Churches have been used as a rally podium, voting stations, and parliamentary gatherings since the dawn of the Polish democratic system in the 15th century.

Exactly. That is why RC religion class in urban schools is commonly skipped by most students.

Excellent comment on the PIS politician`s rally in an RC church:

Przemysław Czarnek claims that he did not talk about politics in church. The problem is that religion is so mixed with politics in his speeches that when he talks about Christian Poland, he thinks about a country ruled by PiS. This is the best way to ensure that churches will be empty.

In a decade or two, when first churches in Poland are turned into community or sports centres or posh cafes/restaurants, don`t ask me who contributed to that situation.

don`t ask me who contributed to that situation.

My wife and me still go to church for Sunday mass with younger kids. Older ones prefer to follow their own ways and choices. They are all anti PiS, btw.
Now, the procedure is simple - a person who rejects PIS as obsessive liars, thieving bolsheviks and political gangsters, will associate the RC church with them and refuse to have anything in common with RC religion.

My wife and me still go to church for Sunday mass with younger kids.

This sentence contains a glaring grammatical error that raises questions about your attention to detail, especially given your supposed expertise in English.

The correct construction should be: "My wife and I still go to church for Sunday mass with younger kids." The pronoun "me" is incorrectly used as the subject of the sentence. In formal English, "I" is the proper subject pronoun, whereas "me" is used as the object of a verb or preposition. This mix-up suggests a fundamental misunderstanding of basic grammar rules, which is troubling given your alleged qualifications.

If your credentials and experience have not prepared you to recognize such a common mistake, it begs the question: how consistent are you in applying proper language standards in your teaching? Accuracy in language is the cornerstone of effective instruction, and even small errors like this call into question your credibility as an educator.

You would benefit from taking a remedial course on the basic rules of grammar, particularly pronoun usage, as they form the foundation of clear and correct communication. If this oversight is indicative of your general approach, your students may be receiving inconsistent guidance, which could ultimately hinder their mastery of the English language and negatively impact their future career prospects, particularly in fields where strong communication skills are vital.
