@raaaz yes I've seen your previous thread, it is very helpful.

@madhubanti tell me about it, this is the only time I got super frustrated and annoyed in my entire life. Though I couldn't do it on my own, a friend who has extensive knowledge on this Visa things booked a slot for me today. Embassy should really change this and make sure that everyone gets slots and attends the interview. I've been trying for weeks to get this and so much of disappointment every week as my joining date is very nearby. I wish everyone gets slots in one or other way.

@others who have got appointment, you people are luckier than me. I have got the appointment on 3rd Sep through an agent as currently I am working and have to reach office by 8:30 am and never get enough time for it. Agent has charged 15000. Though he will paid by me after my visa interview to avoid any fraud activity by post-dated cheque. After he submitted my application, I got direct mail from e-konsulat with filled up application form and appointment details. So hopefully it is genuine.

@Adidasboy, could you please tell me what documents will you be carrying? I am also going for national D type work visa.

@Adidasboy, do you already work in any organization in India? Will your future employer be different ? Then please inform me in that case what all documents regarding notice period, offer we need to show to consulate (if you have any idea).

Can you share agent number name please?

@eamdavadi 1 | 9 , yes, I can give you. But kindly do note, I do not certify his authenticity. It will be solely your decision if you want to opt for his service.

As per his explanation he uses VPN, high speed internet, so it works. He has charged me Rs. 15000, though I need to pay him in a post-dated cheque after 2 days of visa interview.

I have applied for a student visa, and yes I currently work for accenture but I'm going to Poland for my studies. I don't know about the documents needed for work visa. You could contact the embassy about the same, they sent me a checklist needed for the visa interview.

To everyone who's been struggling and waiting for slot. I totally relate to you people and struggled for weeks and finally with the help of an old student who is studying in the university I applied, I got a number of a person who helped me with my slot. He made everything super smooth not fake nor fraud, very genuine guy believing him is up to you people.. but I got a slot for August 21, 2018. I was reluctant to believe him since many people complained about the fake agents but this guy asked me to pay only after he books the slot and send me a confirmation. I had to believe him Coz I had no other option but he turned to be a super genuine person.

I can share his number of anyone is in need of a slot and is ready to pay.

Also, I'm not an agent or an fake broker just another applicant who has been trying for weeks if anyone wants to know

Hello Everyone,

I have been crawling through the web to get relevant information regarding polish visa and work permit and found this thread really useful.

Could you please answer my below queries:

Context : I have got a job offer from a company in poland. For which they are processing my work permit since mid April(haven't received yet but they're assuring it'll come soon) and have asked me to book appointment for visa.

1)How much time it took for you to get the work permit?
2) Does the consulate(Mumbai/delhi) for booking the appointment depends from where your passport is issued or where are you residing currently (in case both are different)?

3) For NewDelhi what are the best time to hit the site for getting the appointment. I am not getting it on days and time (Tuesday & Friday for new delhi at 3PM) mentioned on the consulate site.

4)Does the work permit takes longer than 3 months?
5) How do we get the permits..soft copy or hard copy sent by post from poland?

It'd be really helpful if you could answer my queries and understand the anxiety i have currently.

@seeker01, below I have tried to answer your queries.

1. For me it was 4 weeks, but for some people I heard it took around -4-5 months even.
2. My passport is issued from Kolkata. But I work in Pune. I enquired both of the Mumbai and Delhi consulate. I am eligible for both of them.

I need to carry employment proof provided by my employer and rent agreement as I stay in Pune in a rented flat as present address proof.

3. For appointment, I was not able to secure one by myself. I took help of agent.

I would like to suggest you not to pay any agent after you secure an appointment date through them. Because until the interview is over you are not sure, if the appointment was authentic. They can just run away with your money. I have taken help of below agent and got an appointment on 3rd Sep and will pay him after visa interview. So, I don't have to worry for any money laundering activity by my agent and I can completely spend my time for visa interview preparation.

I AM NOT AN AGENT... I AM A CANDIDATE AND NOT PROMOTING ANYONE. IT WOULD BE YOUR DECISION IF YOU WANT TO OPT FOR THIS SERVICE. AS I HAVE SEEN MANY PEOPLE HAVE LOST THEIR HARD-EARNED MONEY DUE TO BELIEVING FRAUD AGENTS, I AM GIVING YOU THESE DETAILS. BUT IT IS YOU WHO NEED TO DECIDE AND CHECK THE BACKGROUND BEFORE OPTING FOR ANY SERVICE.

4. They send the work permit by DHL (as my company did) and also the soft copy by email.

@Seeker01

Hi, Congrats. I can answer to some of your queries which I have an idea with.

1. Work permit these days can take somewhere between 4-10 months. Depends on different things .
4. Yes, it can take more than 3 months and that is normal.
5. You will a soft copy from your employer or any agent in Poland who is handling your work permit issue. You will also receive a original hard copy via post to your Indian address.

Good luck.

@Madhubanti0007 @Rob1212 Thanks for your help with the prompt reply.

@Madhubanti0007 You received the work permit in 4 weeks? Are you going onsite from a company in India to work on client location or you've got a direct employment opportunity with an employer based in Poland? I am also from Pune, and as informed by my new Employer having recruitment office in India as well, there is a separate type of Work Permit issued in such cases where you're directly hired by a Company over there.

2) Do we receive any intimation from Polish embassy apart from the employer regarding the work permit process has started or in progress..or somewhere we can track the progress?

@Rob1212 Do you also have the same case?
Madhubanti0007
14 Aug 2018   #558
@Seeker01, I have got direct job opportunity in Poland.

@Seeker01 , you do not get any intimacy from embassy or anything else about the progress of work permit. It is your employer who is your contact point. Employer also get to know about the progress, but they can not make the process faster by creating pressures on those government employees who are responsible to grant the work permits.

I just checked the exact dates. Please note, HR contacted me on 1 June after I cracked interview. Then they applied for my work permit on 13 June and I received it n 24 July.

@Seeker01

I too got a direct job opportunity from a company in Poland. Madhubanti0007 has answered it all well regarding work permit progress. Only thing is, the time frame varies depending on your place of job and the number of applications that particular immigration office or so called urzad office in Poland have to handle.

@Rob1212 : How much time it took for your case?
@Madhubanti & @Rob1212: Does any of your employer have offices in India? Or it's an India based company having offices in Poland?

Having passport issued from north, I can try to get appointment for Mumbai consulate too as informed by @Madhubanti0007..so on what day and time i can try that for mumbai?

As per the agent told me, the embassy guys are blocking the slots for consultancies and agents from the back end and hence the slots that open from the website won't show the Available dates.. this is solely going on for money.

@Adidasboy
When the Visa Officer interviewed me for Student visa.. he was very particular with me, not to go for any consultant/agents with regard to booking an appointment. He highly insisted i do it myself. Because VO himself shared plenty of complaints on fake appointments by agents that land up in his desk every week.

And the story that, agent you know shares "the embassy guys are blocking the slots for consultancies and agents from the back end and hence the slots that open from the website won't show the Available dates.. " is highly unrealistic.

And, my friend got an appointment for August 20 slot three weeks back with her own effort.
@Adidasboy kindly send me your filled form and let me see if i can find out about its authenticity. mail id: sreenidhijaganathan@yahoo.com

Can anybody tell me how to make the payment to the bank, like, should I bring any documents, and can I send my representative to make the payment in the bank?
Rob1212  - | 34
15 Aug 2018   #569
@Micky01
Yes, that's how it works. Good luck.
@Shrey
No need for any documents, can be paid by cash or dd by just filling up a challan as we do in banks to deposit. You can do this in the front desk of the ADCB Bank located at Churchgate, Mumbai. And I guess anyone can pay, maybe the payment slip should be with your name [not sure of this]. Do confirm this. Good luck.

@Rob1212 @Shrey
Yes, anybody can pay 4900 Consular Fee and 200 Visa commission fee.
But what's important is to write in the challen, your NAME and PASSPORT number.
At ADCB desk, you will find those challen. Just fill them in, and give Rs. 5100 along with two challen's. You will get in return two carbon copies of the challens.
