you dont have to ... I think that 99% pass without bribe ... and I think that last time it isnt so easy as it was in 90s.

Foreigners requiring a permit to buy property

I think you can buy flat ... there is porblem with land ... in my opinion it is really good, when we will be richer we will give permition.

totaly agree I've just watched it. I hoped that it will be more realistic movie ... all in all it even dont pretend to be realistic ;) Russian magicians, uncorns ... What is noticable we are really bad guys ;)))

I like Turks :) especially those who live in Germany :) with big or very big families I just love them ;)

and to be serious ... I think that (most of) Poles dont have any bad stereotypes about Turks ... so live in peace

Henestly I wouldn't be happy If a million of foreigners came to Poland but UK had already millions of immigrants

I dont know If you noticed that there is 0,5 mln of Ukrainians (working mostly illegaly) in Poland and they havent been born here ... For me it isnt problem they are here to make money and some of them are looking for better place to live ... just like some of Poles in UK ...

What is important, Kaczysnki is crazy but inteligent and he was PM of Poland not USA. Bush is an idiot and he is leader of the strongest country all over the world ... his neo-conservatist advisors ehhh, just change them. It is a good friendly advice.

Both of them harmed reputation of our countries, and I think that we should wait for your (USA) elections, and I hope you will choose sb like Kenedy, and we will start different discussion.

as well as I know we have good policy towards gipsies, we spend a lot of money to try to educate them and include them into society, some of them successfully ended university, what is more we havent created gettos for them like Czech rep, Slovakia or other southern Europeans states so we try to include them into society, last time we started to use EU funds in this case and we have small successes. I think that our way is better than Czech or Romanian, maybe we can do it our way because there is only 12 000 - 50 000 of Gipsies in Poland, and in Romania there is 550 000 - 2 000 000 gipsies in Czech rep there is 200 000 gipsies closed in ghettos. I know that there is big Gipsy society in western Europe but I dont know the details about them.

as to attitude towards Gipsies ... I m not going to tell nice stories about Poles who love gipsies ... attitude is definitely negative, but a lot of people like their music or dancers and I think that art is place where they should try their chances.

I feel good, just because my point of view on PL-USA relationship sticks to reality, and last elections shows that most of Poles stick to reality too.

What is problem in differences between points of view of Poland and our neighbours.

We were under occupation and it was realy hard to show our history in way we see it, lat time it changes, but the fact is that better known is Russian or German point of view.

our intervention in Russia in XVII century (the fact is that Russian nobels asked for the same laws as Poles and Lithuenias had and it was only one event in Russian history when they had a chance for less authorative system ... )

I have just noticed that British hisoricians who know most of details about Polish -Russian relationship shares Davies point of view ... and honestly his books in comparison to some books written by Poles are very tolerant for Russia ...

When we look in to old books ;) Germany, Austria, Hungary, Poland and so on are central european countries. Russians, Ukrainians and so on are eastern.

as to Norman Davies ... he writtes about our histry in neutral way and writtes the truth ... we can say about British people a lot of things but they look on Poland in neutral way and when they know all (!!!) facts they dont change them just because they prefere one nation than other ... (esp according our region)

We are humans too and If our lives are in danger, we think how to save our own families, not how to help Jews.

even this fact there were a lot of people who helped.

as to Polish citizens 3 milions Polish jews were killed by Germans and 3 milions of Polish (other religion) citizens were kiled by Germans too it gives about 6 mln people killed.

as to names it is interedting why Germans are called nazist ... Russian Soviets...

that would be reported incidents which is probably very relevent given that a substantial percentage of poland's ethnic population probably doesnt speak the language very well and almost certainly doesnt want to go to the trouble of reporting attacks

but UK Holland the low countries sweeden and denmark help the most.

look on figures ... go on some jewish side and check which nation saved the bigest amout of jews during the war ... (UK wasnt under German nazi occpation but check figures of countries you mentioned)

.jalf the jews I meet are from or their parents from Poland I meet survivors . you have no idea what they went through.

so how they survived ... in German concetration camp ?? (average lenght of life 2 weeks) or were saved by Poles ? ask them how they survived ...

well, i absolutely agree with PAWEL M. i also think that polish antisemitism is one of the strongest stereotypes about poles. maybe it still exists among the generation of ww2 participants (for the reasons PAWEL M wrote about), but among people of my age (about 20) something as antisemitism doesnt exist.

at the end Americans and their point of view ... no comment. Now all Arabs are enemy, terrorist, wild people... who cares, we should just F*** them and their crazy ideas, all in all whole world hate them now (we are one of last nations who belive they have good intentions and it is mistake ...)

It is enougt to read who supported who in southern america in last 50 years, who was learning oficers of regimes how to torture people ... there is only one answer USA did it ... and they try to prove sth for somebody ... no comment
