Yes, you can point to the terrible things written in the bible, but the fact is that Christianity had a reformation 400 years ago, and we've decided to dispense with most of the really ugly parts. According to international law, they are to seek refuge in the FIRST SAFE COUNTRY that they reach. Now, if you want to go through the proper channels to change international law, then ok, but until then there is no case to be made for any of these people to be resettled in any other European countries. I'm asking this because I really need to wrap my head around this position. It's hard for me to understand how someone can hold such disdain for their own people.
