Merged: Entering Germany / France having a valid Poland's work permit - as a tourist into Schengen Zone

Dear Admin,

Am indian, i come to warsaw this july 2015 in work permit visa for 2 years. i have some few questions to clarify.

If i have valid Poland work permit and Indian passport , its enough to enter Germany / France - Schengen Zone as a tourist. or i should individually have to apply Germany tourist visa for visit Germany.

It's enough. You can legally reside for up to 3 months in those countries. Be warned - you cannot work without a separate German work permit, and if you're caught, you'll be banned from the Schengen zone.

You also cannot visit the UK or Ireland using this route, although Croatia, Cyprus, Romania and Bulgaria will grant you 3 months entry on the basis of that combination.
