I reject the science where it says being married and having a partner and perhaps children does not stop that sort of urge for some. Sorry but that defies common sense so if that's what we know as the truth it's wrong. I don't think its that broad and it is one way we can stamp on that behaviour and an important one. So priest being with a wife was about money? Lol. So it was to preserve the wealth of the church. So it is in the same league where jesus said that we dont need a church and it is in the heart, a whole book deliberately removed from the bible? Again about people in charge and church and money but not the true path. Meh.

I hope francis takes it up. It's obviously a charade. From an assets point of view in the modern world such things are separated in that one entity owns the church and land, another owns its personal income and assets. There is clear distinction and it's not possible to hand church land or property to your wife. The priest is a worker there his assets are seperate from company assets. So they can remove that as a reason for a start.

Superpower is a silly description. Comparing Poland to corrupt Greeks and all that is a sad joke, Poland is a good performer in EU, Greece is deluded. All that will happen in two years is more links to new markets such as UAE to give one example. You pessimists can go jump you are just bad for my share prices. Some of us have good performing assets in Poland which are doing just fine. The economic growth social development are going just fine. The distancing from backward despotic neighbours is going just fine thanks. Super power maybe never and I hope not but the rest is making great progress and they far outweigh the bad bits.

Gosc you are right I am a long way away. I am out of touch but not completely just partially. Anyway regardless of this I will continue to invest a safe percentage of what I can there. Giving up and all that will not help only action will. I hope a day will come when poland can hold its own. Its worth working towards it.

Why what do you know about Greece? Having said they are on the right path...a path to what? Bankruptcy and no future and a socialist government is good? I hope they leave the EU. Ok just looking what Poland did without all this cut off from the world we did ok considering that. After 20 years of development people abroad sending money and business people investing Poland will still be better off if they shut the gates than it would have been without this period. You people should do us a favour and stop the negative talk and put on a positive face to help the cause. I will be there in December again to hunt more business. I have a percentage of money here that I use to help there and hopefully make some profit too. I feel like I am doing at least my share. When there at the end of the year I will be looking for a new purchasing person to give a job to. I doubt this will lead to superpower but that's not an aim. Small steps will pay off.

People often don't realise that the weekend and many other things are a result of modern improvements in lifestyle. Before that peasants in England or indeed anywhere didn't really have much entitlement to any such time so the word didn't exist but slowly kept in as things improved. Another surprise is the.9 to 5. People forget that these hours are made.up, people used to sleep in what.we.now call weird hours and even socialise or get.up at 3 am to visit neighbours. There is lots of evidence for this. In any case both of those things are a construct of recent modernisation and so on which makes the words new. I would recommend to anyone who is interested in looking at the.hours and habits of people not so long ago you may get a shock at how un natural that seems now. Plenty.of info online, I found it very interesting

Coal is obsolete trash and the pope is right. I also live in a backward coal country. People in coal should really start learning something else. Ditto for oil trash. Luckily for us those on forums spreading idiotic 19th century science are in charge of nothing and no one. As evidenced by my 300% growth in Poland in 19 months in renewables. I hope to open a shop in Warsaw in 2017 for such technologies.

Jon 357 there is a lot uses.for.crude. plastics for example, medicine so on i agree.The problem with.crude is that its being used.to.power all the.cars. The writing is on the wall for this. Poland has to join the brave new world or suffer the.same nightmare as here will if we dont get.rid of our backward government who are endengaring our whole economy due to utter stupidity. I am happy the pope has joined the frey as a catholic I rhink this is good for the future of.the.church as well as the planet. The resistance will get.less as the obsolete thinkers get older and die off or lose power. People in coal should start their new.education.and.training now.

Give you an example polonius. Here they said the same thing and managed almost nothing. China and usa have better tech and have agreed together as well now the g7 that its not viable. They are all racing toward new energy. Pope is smart. Coal has dropped here by 60% in price. Things you can do to protect yourselves includes changing you super or investment portfolios away from fossil fuels. The sooner you do this the better. There is no such thing as converting this fuel into a much cleaner fuel. With the new techs racing they get cheaper and better all the time. The plan of world polluting despots is to tell you fibs to keep it all going, our prime minister here is a prime example of such rubbish. He will pay dearly.

The change is gradual. Some of us have been fighting it for 20 years or longer. It's been a long time. It will take much longer still but the momentum is gaining. It's accelerating. Finally large powers have taken it on and the latest addition is the pope. Sure there's heaps of other issues but one at a time. This is a big one! There is nothing anti polish in the popes statements.

Why you cannot buy a lightbulb invented a 100 years ago anymore? Because 90% of your lightbulb was converted to heat not light and it's not a light bulb it's a heat bulb and a total waste. There was nothing normal about it starting from when the idea was stolen from tesla by the american and ending with how long it took to get rid of this stuff.

The pope is not saying the world is getting hotter or polluted or anything. He is repeating the indisputable scientific evidence presented to him by many advisors. He didn't do the research, millions of others did. We waited centuries for popes to even allow science. Anyway, it's too late for your lies and medival ignorance there are large concers now who have woken up to this like to give ypu only one single example..the rockafellas. They are now using their oil money to go this way. You should stop using the word tree huggers, it makes you seem even more primitive. Solving these problems does not involve hugging trees but I may need a hug from the wife after reading such nonsense. Poland is one of the best places to do this. Reliant on despots gas it will be liberating to get away from it. Oh, and we will get away from it and we will never stop fighting until we do. Lastly the money.....invest now a bit each week while we are all cheap because this won't last even several years. No need to lose money, you can make plenty.

Yes I am but I came from poland. We have vegimite too but was bought by an american company so not really australian anymore. Also promite, thats our favourite at home.

Reading that makes me definately try harder. That's why I am 1000s of kilometers away from family and tomorrow and all week will be working hard to ensure I can do my part to help make it happen. A small part. Reading that I definately know I am doing the right thing as a lot of humans are beyond help and some of us have to try to save ourselves from your way of thinking. So thank you for making it all worth it. I am done with this thread there is norhing more relevant to say of any use for me. Am glad to have my new ally the pope. Hope he lives for ever.

Dave climate has a lot to do with it. My point of view was different where you see the drab I was in winter wonderland with the crisp squeaky snow and chilled air and so on. It has been pointed out to me that I may be an optimist however and my nikname was yeti lol. So yeah.
