Love / Do Polish Women age well? [153]

You have just signed your death warrant.

Not at all I am inclined to agree that (more) men do look better as they age than women - this could be due to the fact that their hormones do not decrease as much as womens do, womens bodies (inner workings) start to change considerably in their 40s.

Also maybe Polish women have not yet been brainwashed into wearing a 40spf moisturiser for the last 20 years like we have in the UK.

UK, Ireland / What do you hate about England and English people? [142]

This has been covered on the forum before, people don't actually give a flying fook how you are - it's just a greeting "hi how are you" - same as Poles say Jak sie masz

Language / IS "MURZYN" word RACIST? [686]

Or DICKinSON? ;)

I worked with a girl who married a guy called Hardcok - now that's an offensive surname :)

then in few yr all that racist topics in tv,net etc will die.

Nope, what will happen will be a lot of PC rubbish and having books removed and logos removed and anything else that might offend the guests in your country!

Should Cilla Black change her surname? Oh and my friend has an uncle Paki (pet name for Patrick in Ireland)

Welcome to our lovely multi-cultural society :)

Life / Reasons for moving to Poland [291]

You said you lived in Manchester, surely you went to Bury market? Stop talking sh*t.

I have been to Ireland, Scotland, Wales, North East of England so i know there are beatiful places in UK..

Again you are talking rubbish, we have the Lake District and the Peak District! Are you sure you lived in Manchester???

British doctors very good?

So you got bad advice off one Doctor so they are all bad, I can only imagine where you lived to get such a shite Doctor.

As for a pound dropping in value, i couldn't care less as i didn't come here to work my guts out.

Good for you, when are you going back since you hate it so much?

Law / Polish EU Drivers Licence - can I get one the easy way (by paying for it)? [185]

The other part that makes it so ridiculous is that the DSA's examiners quite clearly have a motive not to pass everyone.

What evidence do you have apart from pure guess work?

then pass a test without being able to drive in a wide range of conditions?

What conditions? All areas of driving are covered whilst taking driving lessons. Motorway driving lessons are optional.

The Polish system seems to be great in the respect that you're required to be fully trained before sitting a test.

I don't see any difference, the UK system is practically the same. Why remove the test? Don't tell me you have failed several times but you think you are a better driver than most people on the roads!!!! By the way the 'exam' is a simple drive with someone assessing you in the car - nothing difficult involved if you are a competent driver.

Food / traditional breakfasts in Poland [74]

Jam in Poland is rank - nothing like the chunky fruity stuff you get in England :( personally Im a fruit and fibre with yoghurt kinda person and the English breakfast is not so popular these days which is not surprising considering the amount of fat in it!

History / What do Poles think about Turks? [761]

I totally aggree with you "wildrover" though I was referring to the other way around, stereotypes in Turkish people's minds about Western People.

I have to say that this is one of the most interesting and honest posts I have seen in quite some time on this fourm, which also compounds what I have always said, men from certain countries treat Western women with complete dissrespect because of their own ignorance and beliefs. (no offence to the poster you seem quite a well rounded person)

Not a language for the faint hearted--:)

You can say that again, I know a handful of words and found it more difficult than Polish when trying to learn.

News / Simon Mol is dead:No regrets [74]

He did go to prison.

You know what I mean Harry - whilst I am all for a fair trial for people - what he did, I think he got off lightly! What's the life expectancy of a person with HIV / AIDS? times that by how many people who have been infected due to his actions and then ask yourself was 1 year in prison enough?

This is why this diesease is rampant! This illness is more in the mind than in the body.

Tell that to the girls who are suffering from HIV and who will die an unpleasant, probably painful death of AIDS related problems - HIV is a virus - same as a cough or a cold - only spread through bodily fluids - HIV does not discriminate between good people and bad people.

Unfortunately not.

So he was calcuted in his approach? It saddens me what he did to these women, because there is always a backlash and his death wont be the end of it.

Shame he didn't go to prison, death is too good for him!

Are you being sarcastic?

Yes. He wasn't convicted of anything in any court, therefore innocent until proven guilty and we will probably never know the truth.

The pill does not protect from STDs.

That's my point - but it has promoted promiscuity amongst women.

I say both Mr. Simon and his so called 'naive' victims got what they deserved.

Im not feeling the love in the room after that comment - very ignorant and unpleasant.

HIV spreads through most immoral, unhygene and abusive means... includes all kinds of pathetic things.

Really? How about my friends uncle who WAS a hemaphiliac? you are a stupid little fuckwit.

and that at least some of the Polish women who had sex with him were fully aware that he was HIV positive and that they probably would be infected by unprotected sex.

I find it hard to believe that any woman would have unprotected sex with a man who is open about his AIDS unless they were unware of what HIV / AIDS was and that is even more unbelievable!.

I think they have found a way to manipulate nature with technology ..

To a certain degree, but this has made promiscuity rife - women have the pill so does that make it okay for them to sh*g about?

I may get shot down for this but when it comes to sex it isnt the same rules for men and women. A woman can get pregnant and therefore should have more care with who she sleeps with. If a man could get pregnant I suspect he'd be less inclined to chase anything with tits and a pulse. We can manipulate societies rules but nature has its own.

Men are just as irrisponsible and personally I dont think pregnancy is on the mind of some thirsty dog and what do they care if a women gets pregnant - it's easy to say adios - in the case of these guys who slept with the girls that are infected they can't say adios to AIDS! I believe that both sexes have a responsibility to take care of themselves especially in this day and age.

However I suspect that women who sleep with African asylum seekers that they've just met are not exactly paragons of chastity

The word "exotic" gets banded about on the forum, I expect some Polish women have a different take on African asylum seekers than what the majority of British women have.

different rules appear to have something to do with morality not with getting pregnant. It is OK for a men to have a number of partners and being perceived as a stud but if a woman sleeps around she is a w......, so I am not shooting you down for this yet, men can impregnate women. In fact, woman cannot get pregnant by herself.

Bingo!

I'm not saying that they got their just deserts or anything stupid like that

I know you weren't.

This is not completely related to this topic but has a connection, a friend of mine who is Slovakian has lived here in the UK for years and her husband is English, her younger brother came over to work here a couple of years ago and said he wouldn't date a British girl because we have all AIDS! I think people from certain countries think that it's not their country's problem and they are almost imune to it.

Harry

I understand your point, but this guy knowingly infected god knows how many women and in turn they have infected other people, he was not convicted but the fact still remain that he knowingly engaged in unprotected sex with these girls whilst knowing full well he had HIV / AIDS which tantamounts to murder in my book.

Chances are that these girls werent exactly shy with their favours so who knows how many they've passed it onto, and so on.

I dont want to turn this into a war of the sexes but if these girls were a bit loose, what about the kind of guys that they slept with? I dont think the fact that they slept with him really says anything about their morals or what kind of girls they were and it's unfair to call them on that. What has happened is a terrible for anyone involved who may have HIV.

And you can see many of these examples in Poland as well e.g. at the weekend a guy came to do the artificial insemination for the dairy cows on my father-in-laws farm, and was doing the deeds with a sandwich in his mouth, taking a munch from time to time. eekkk

I dont believe it for one moment - a man that can multi-task?

It's all good, my conscience is clear and my hands are clean :) maybe the next thread we could ask why certain people find it acceptable to not cover their mouth when they cough or cover their nose when they sneeze? or why so many people just drop litter all over my country and make it look like a big rubbish bin...

im not sure if you are familiar with the viz

I used to read it quite a lot, but haven't bothered in recent years.

Sometimes the handsoap in these toilets can be a bit harsh on skin but it's better than not washing at all.

And sometimes the soap dispensers look that disgusting I would rather just rinse and spray some anitceptic spray on my hands - I would say it's cleaner considering what could be lurking and festering in clogged up dirty dispensers and I would never ever use a bar of soap in a public toilet - that's just wrong! It's not that my hygiene standards are low, it's just I don't want to touch something dirty and get more germs on my hands than necessary.

Do British people not wash their hands?

You have observed that most British women do wash their hands after a fashion...better than nothing?

Some of us prefer to be a little bit more thorough than others, I've seen this lackluster approach all over the world not just in the UK. Im probably the wrong person to answer this topic because Im quite anal and avoid public loos where possible and dont even touch the surfaces if possible without using toilet tissue. Im more disturbed when I see some scank walk out of a toilet and not wash their hands at all !!!

Can I recommend you purchase one of the handy little anticeptic sprays for your hands - I never leave the house without one :)

Mags, when we are children in the UK we are tought to wash our hands after using the toilet and always before dinner (or any meal time) no matter what...unfortunately there are families out there who don't teach the basics to their kids :(((
