Law / Apostille stamp in Warsaw [26]

If the documents relate to visas for a third country, you will have to get a Karta Pobytu first.

No it is not related to any Visa documents :) I have karta pobytu so I wouldnt be caught in the same trap.

Is India a signatory to that particular Hague Convention?

As per the Polish embassy in India all documents like University documents, Birth Certificate, Marriage certificate etc has to be legalised (Means to get this Apostille Stamp) from Ministry of external affairs India before I can use it in Poland. So the documents which i bring is worth nothing without this stamp.

Law / Apostille stamp in Warsaw [26]

It is Apostille, This is also been called legalization of documents. If someone have some documents from Poland or any other european countries and if this document has to be used in another country it has to be legalized to make it valid to be usable in other country.

peterweg

There is economic growth in poland and lot of foreign investments. After this incident when there is no stable government and dont know what govrnment comes in power, foreign investors will think twice to invest. So this can affect the economy.

Law / Poland's Work permit questions - visiting European countries; working in the EU / switching job; dependants [86]

c) Can I switch my job in Poland or other countries in Europe

As Alicajav answered all your questions other then switching your jobs. You can switch only once the other company is ready to do all paper work for you and then you can change in Poland. Out other european countries you need to go through the smiliar process of getting a work permit the way you got from India to Poland. The company has to sponsor you for work permit.

UK, Ireland / EEA family permit from Poland to UK - time and process [60]

the fact she doesn't have a permanent address and is not enrolled on the WRS means she cant work in the UK (legally) until that's sorted..

I don't agree with this point. Any European for example Polish has a right to go and work in UK. Once they find a job they can register with WRS. The day they start working and start paying taxes and contributing towards National Insurance (NI) they are working legally. Regarding permanent address they can always rent a room or a flat :)

Work / A few questions for regarding EU and Poland - worker registration [8]

Eu citizens can move in european union with no problems and can live and work for 3 months and if they want to live longer they should register with the local office. For british citizens they should register with Wojewoda if they are working or doing business in Poland. Regarding WRS i guess there are many poles who are not registered and working for years, It is good to register because if u work for 1 year you dont need to register later. Regardig denial of WRS I guess they wouldnt do it as far as you are working legally and paying taxes. Never heard of someone getting denied for it.

Life / Bilet, controler and the Poland Police. [78]

Did you refused to show your ID or Passport when he asked you to show it, or did you refused to give your personal details. These can be the only reason why he would call the police. There are people who are living illegally and travelling so they just do there duty to inform the police as he was suspecting you to be without documents. Regarding personal details taken by the police it is safe so dont need to worry. It is possible that you ca forget to validate the ticket or you need to reach somewhere which is more important and u couldnt buy a ticket. We are human beings and we do make mistakes but as far as we follow the rules and pay the fine on time it wouldnt harm your image nor will you be in black list, so cheer up :)

"One area that requires a quick decision is on the National Bank of Poland, because the President of the NBP should convene a meeting of the Monetary Policy Council.
