Work / Business ideas for Poland [63]

Any business needs lot of research and planning. Some people just open things because they see that someone is making money by doing this but it doesn't necessarily mean that it would work the same. Lot of factor has to be considered before opening business.

Work / Business ideas for Poland [63]

@terri everything what I have and I earn is for my family which means for my wife and my daughter. We have been together for 10years and if she chooses money over husband and family then let her have it. Money we can earn but family if broken hard to bring together. Polish women is women first and I believe with heart and then Polish national 😁

It was not about having business sense, it was about being Polish. Business can be in name of someone and run by someone else.

Work / Business ideas for Poland [63]

Mmy Background is reatiling but It would be the last thing I want to do. I am not Polish but I have lived and studied in this country and have fair knowledge about Poland.

Synka- Are you Polish ? are you registered in Poland, having a wife is not good enough.

I can always open the company in my Wifes name. She is Polish :) To have a wife is very good especially if she is supportive, loving and caring. I am married 10years and we have a daughter and this is best thing happened in my life.

Law / Poland - Temporary Residence card - Karta pobytu - required documents [142]

-----Correction--------
All Documents has to be translated in polish by a sworn translator and form has to be filled in polish language.
Karta pobytu has to be applied atleast 45 days before the expiry of your visa or Residence card.
Meldunek (Registration of house address in poland)
Health Insurance (specially in case of students it is a must)
Bank Account statment (Balance depends cant say in particular how much, Mainly for students)
Letter from college that you are student or Marriage certificate or Business/ Employment Documents
4 colour photographs 4,5cm x 3,5cm
PLN 340 has to be paid when submitting application
PLN 50 has to be paid when collecting karta pobytu

There is possibility to face an interview. Interview is made in Polish Language so people who can speak polish need to have a sworn Interpreter English-Polish. Usually decision is made within 45 days but in case if it takes longer you might get 3 months visa D category.

One application is made applicant recieves decision stating that he or she has been issuded karta pobytu for specified time limit and after that arround 15-20 days karta pobytu can be collected. This is general procedure. Documents can be needed more for different purpose of stay.

I hope this information is usefull and if you have some query please post here and I hope some or the other person can reply and help with queries :)

You can only travel

question -- can you travel if your Karta Pobytu is being renewed? I need to travel and my Karta is in the process of being renewed (you know how long it takes!)

Depends if you have got a visa still valid while you are travelling and returning back to Poland. You need to be more specific in order to give u complete info.

Law / HOW LONG DOES THE APPLICATION FOR KARTA POBYTU TAKE TO PROCESS IN POLAND! [36]

My first two cards were for one year. The second two were for two years. See what I wrote above for the next one.

It is not necessary that everyone will have first two card for one year. My friend for the first time got for 2 years and my second friend go second card for 2 years. It is upto the officer. There is no specific rules for the same.

Law / HOW LONG DOES THE APPLICATION FOR KARTA POBYTU TAKE TO PROCESS IN POLAND! [36]

Unfortunately they dont give for 5 years like in another EU countries being spouse of EU national. They can give u for 1 or 2 years, One year they usually give to everyone if you apply for the first time and second time this can be for 2 years. Karta Pobytu is a term for residence card. Karta pobytu is given to everyone who is foreigner and living in Poland as a student, spouse, business or work.

In my case I always get for 1 year because i hardly stay in Poland I travel Poland - India 3-4 times in a year so thats why maybe they always give me 1 year but someone who is here working living they give 2 years after first card. If you live in Poland continuously for 3 years you can later be eligible for karta stalego pobytu (Permanent residence card) and eventually for passport.

I hope this helps.

Law / HOW LONG DOES THE APPLICATION FOR KARTA POBYTU TAKE TO PROCESS IN POLAND! [36]

I have been to these guys who process this Karta Pobytu and I wasn't given a clear answer.

It takes minimum 45 days to get decision thats there standard procedure. I have got my 5 the residence card and it always took 45 days not more. Since you have applied for residence card you would get a confirmation letter from the office that they have received your application and your decision will be made on particular date. They try to make decision on the date mentioned on the letter but at times it can take longer. You guys will have interview and decision will be made after that, I have been lucky always to get friendly inspektor for my case and I have been always informed on the same day that how long I will get card for and it is positive. After decision it will take 3-5 weeks to get your residence card.

cheers

Feedback / Why are threads deleted or send off topic list? [60]

I am wondering why do the delete the threads or move to off-topic categories? I made a recent thread about the Volcano and the problems with the air flights in europe and now it is been moved to off topic category. This is not off topic as it is the latest thing happening and affection many peoples travelling plans. Who decides the deletion or movement of threads to another categories?

Law / Poland - Temporary Residence card - Karta pobytu - required documents [142]

Regarding money in your bank account, this is not something which is fixed by them. Different cities in poland have different requirements. I am not sure about how much you should show but usually it works this way for example 300zl for house + 450zl for living approx = 750zl for 1 month, so if you show something like 10,000zl or more in your bank account can be enough. At times i have heard students showing 4-5000zl and also getting karta pobytu, so it depends. I guess in your case you alread have 1 year visa so they wouldnt think too much to give you karta pobytu but again i am not specialist and more money is better :) The address is

Department of Foreigners
ul. Długa 5, 00-263 Warszawa
Mon 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Tue-Fri 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
For customers: Mon 10:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Tue-Fri 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
wsc@mazowieckie.pl

You can collect it anytime after this as long as you do the above steps

I have collected mine karta pobytu 3rd time last month and they never asked me to bring zmaldawania. Decision letter doesnt show the time when you can come and collect it usually is in 2-3 weeks. You have to contact them by phone or personally to check if they have got the card ready as this card comes from warsaw. If the card is ready you can pay 50zl to there account and show them the reciept and collect it :)

To apply for new karta pobytu one has to apply 45 days before the current one expires. I have a question if I am abroad and dont reach before 45 days to apply for the new one can i apply through post from my country in my embassy? or can I apply through the post and send the documents by post to immigration office in Poland? Or can I ask my friend to submit my documents on my behalf? As I am planning to be in poland 30days before the current expires so I would be late. Please suggest me something if someone was in similar situation. thanks.

I dont know what you talking about adress registration. As far as collecting the card it will be issued automatically and then after 2-3 weeks when you go you have to show them the proof of the payment to there account of 50zl and you can collect your card. If you need any other information please post your query.

Law / Poland - Temporary Residence card - Karta pobytu - required documents [142]

House Registration (Meldunek in polish) you can get only for the period of visa validity, so for example if your visa finish in june they can give you meldunek till june. When you apply for karta pobytu you can show your rental agreement for 1 year which is possible to do because your landlord can make it for you and with meldunek which would be valid till june as u said you can appl for karta pobytu with no problems, if you need more info post our question :)

Law / Poland - Temporary Residence card - Karta pobytu - required documents [142]

If you are married you can only work in poland. You can travel all schengen countries upto 3 months but you cant work. If your wife moves and live in another schengen country you can follow or join her. There are some schengen countries where company should sponsor to work, so once your wife has sponsor from employee you can work too.

You can come to poland with no problems but about working in poland you need to apply for karta pobytu as you allowed to live in the country 3 months and if u stay longer then 3 months you need to show the reason for stay and simultaneously apply for temporary residence card.

Law / Poland - Temporary Residence card - Karta pobytu - required documents [142]

I believe you are from australia. Being an australian citizen you have opportunity to come to schengen zone for upto 3 months. To apply for karta pobytu u need to apply 45 days before and if they see that you have applied later so they advice to leave the country and re-enter again. My friend had a same problem and he is from india and for him he had to go to india apply for polish visa again and come back. For you it is good u dont have to apply for visa all u have to do is leave schengen country to any other country or to australia and re enter again so u again get 3 months time to live in country and same time u can apply for karta pobytu and you will be fine. Best of luck with your applications :)

I have gone through all this process so I am aware of it :)
