Language / Are the context of these Polish sentences correct? [101]

do i have the context of these sentences correct,

if I want to chat I will, tell, you = jeśli chcę rozmowiać będę powiedz ciębie

where do you live = czy pan mieszkasz

when I go to town I sit and watch the world go by = kiedy iść do miasto, siedziałem I zobacz świąt pójde obok

what do you do when you go home at night = czy pan robi , kiedy idziesz domu w noc

Language / seen / saw usage [18]

i am quite familiar with the endings, but in my effortbto tranlate what i want to say, from english to polish i forget them often, and to a large degree that is what frustrates me, i know them but fail to use them when i translate. and also when i converse. i often wonder what do i sound like to a pole.

i think on a scale of 1..10 my polish is about 4.5

thanks to all you guys

i understand that seanus, but my frustration is being undertsood. its difficuklt enough, i think my polish is gettinmg better, at least my cousin in torun says so, but do want to get a handle on these concepts, if its not perfect, i at least wantto be undertsood.

i still seem to having dificulty in the word order, especially when i want to ask a question like the above, i am still grapling with the czy concept. i think i have to say the question to myself before i add the czy. i.e

you see fred. then add the czy to mean have you seen fred.

does that indecate i'm getting there

so my only mistake was using zobczyć and not zobaczyłeś.

would i be right in saying that if i wanted to say, ' i have seen that movie' or what have you seen' i would use the word zobacz.

czy pan zobaczyłeś - have you seen
kiedy masz zobacz - what have you seen

thanks

Language / "do I" usage in a question? [50]

im still not clear, i thought if i wanted to ask a question i would use czy, so; chcesz piwo, would be czy chcesz piwo. you say robi nie doesnt mean anythying, i undertsood that to mean 'i do not'

i have visited poland two weeks ago, do the suffixes uję, esz, ect apply to most words, i wanted to say 'i miss you both' so i would say' tęsknuję oboje' i have upto now been saying' tęsknota cię'

thanks

so you can see where i am coming from, at the end of the day, as long as my polish friends can understand what i want to say, thats the job done. all the rest will fall into place as it comes.

i write better polish then i do speaking it.

i have been learning polish for 14mnth, i can hold a conversation now, but there are still some little bits of confusion like this one. on the whole i think i'm doing good. but every bit helps as they say.

word order is my biggest battle right now, but the fight goes on.

thanks

i was just looking at my book 301 verbs, and i see mogę, moźe, they both mean , can, may, able.

i suspect i may have missed some point here.
