I dont see cancer effecting many animals,

Even our dogs and cats are getting cancer and people are blaming it on the vaccines that the government requires. The tumor develops in the spot where they were vaccinated and there's no cure for that kind of cancer so the animal dies within weeks or months.

Some people can eat junk food and feel good but not everyone can and that's a bad sign if you don't. Some people have to make a drastic change in diet.

The sad thing is that my skinny friend and her sister both got cancer. Her sister died very young. A lot of people got sicknesses. Even our teachers and school administrators died young. I now eat food from a garden that me and my neighbor share because I don't want to die young, too.

If this thread's titular question is meant to refer to specific Polish restaurants in the USA that have failed, then it should include examples of failed Polish restaurants in the USA,

There was one in Anaheim CA that went out of business and there's now a Mexican restaurant there.

Somebody needs to open Polish fast food restaurants and people will go there. The Germans did it with Wienerschnitzel. It's not enough to have a restaurant here and there and charge a lot of money.

When I was in grade school (in America) we were all skinny but we were a junk food generation back then, too. The schools fed us junk food and we grew up thinking it was a normal diet. They gave us cookies and potato chips during our breaks and then pizza, hamburgers, french fries, chocolate milk and so on for lunch and then ice cream after school. In high school they added sodas. And we had stores within walking distance so kids went there and bought candy, donuts, ice cream, and fried chicken, but we were all skinny. My friend was even skinnier than me and she ate hot dogs every day when she got home. If the problem is really only junk food, why weren't we fat? Have they added something new to junk food?

Oh, the Polish sausage at Costco isn't the kind in the frozen section. It's at the food stand where they sell food that's ready to go. I don't know if all Costco's have them. Those are the good ones.

Women can tell when a man has a lower libido. They can feel a man's sexual energy or the lack of it. That's why they choose one man over the other. I mean, I doubt any of those women are at the clubs to find their soul mate or the love of their life so that's what they're focusing on (his libido). Try showing them that you're a hungry animal underneath the exterior.

Has anyone mentioned the movie V.I. Warshawski with Kathleen Turner? The lead character is part Polish. The movie was supposedly made from a series of books about the same character.

I mean, just like Grzegorz already pointed out, you don't abuse a systrem if you are entitled for the benefits.

But they do abuse the system in the U.S. when they are entitled to benefits, believe me. California had to create a law so that people who collect welfare to buy food and clothes can no longer use their free money on things like psychics, massages, cruise ships, casinos, etc. because that's what they were doing. Meanwhile, people who work hard all day can't afford to go on cruises and have massages or gamble their money away.

I heard some story about some Chinese guy.

I've seen stories like that, too. They literally can't get jobs if they're too short. They get their legs lengthened in order to work and make a living.

Oh, I do remember these from my teens, a classic american cop show...........honest ;)

The Unpronounceables is hilarious. I had never seen that before.

Paul Wesley (Paul Thomas Wasilewski)

Do they actually play Polish American characters? I thought Paul Wesley plays a hispanic character. It's always like that. The Polish characters are portrayed by non-Polish actors, like probably Wysocki in The Chicago Code.

How about Vince Vaughn and Vincent D'Onofrio as Polish American brothers in The Break-Up, which also starred Jennifer Aniston?

The Chicago Code with Jennifer Beals also has some Polish American characters, including the lead character, but I've never watched the show.

There was also a Polish character in Last Chance Harvey with Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson, but he was only known as the Polish neighbor.

Has anyone mentioned Detective Jaruszalski on Law and Order Los Angeles? There have been many characters on television through the years that have had Polish last names and that were portrayed as well as anyone else but they don't really get recognition.
