Polonia / Reckless Polish Man starts wildfire in Montenegro [48]

I don't see that at all. Remember the topic of this forum.

Yes-"The BEST guide to Poland".

I don't see how writing about what a Pole does in another part of the world helps as a guide to Poland. However, the mods clearly allow it so I will start looking for news stories too.

If I wanted to write a guide about England then adding an article about an English guy in Australia who murdered his family wouldn't really be relevant would it ?

News / Polish lorry driver attacked by migrants in Belgium [20]

It seems now that Calais is not much of a viable option then other areas are being exploited.

Lorry drivers should receive police protection-they are only doing their jobs and shouldn't be on the front line of the migrant crisis !

Polonia / Reckless Polish Man starts wildfire in Montenegro [48]

Still very hard to know why he would do such a reckless thing

Because stupid people do stupid things.Do Poles commit crimes ? Do Poles do stupid things ? Yes but it should not be implied or inferred that this is a "Polish" problem which some members are trying to say.

A Polish man starts a fire........and ?

UK, Ireland / Muslim man abuses and threatens Polish woman in the UK [49]

@WhirlwindTobias

Hi Tobias.I posted this article to try and balance the unchecked anti-Polish propaganda that has affected this forum lately.

Some members on here seem to have set up Google news alerts that notify them whenever a Pole is mentioned in the news-they then choose to post only the negative stories.

Although the article is a few months old it hasn't been discussed on here previously hence my reason for deciding to post it.

why not just have one thread for misbehaving Poles in the UK and muslims struggling with European cultural norms ?

Good idea.

The only reason I post half the time is to try and balance the overt negativity posted by other members.

I can only deduce that the forum owners are happy for the board to operate in this manner :(

That video shows nothing about Poland

If the board allows other members to post articles about Poles who are mentioned in the news then this article is equally as relevant. The only difference is that this article doesn't paint a negative view of Poles-funny that you take issue with this post eh ?

and so shows nothing about the ever increasing number of Muslims who are moving to Poland.

Is this a fact from Harry-land or can you back up it with a reputable source ? Thought not so we'll choose to ignore this claim :)

Poland has got more than enough racists already,

As opposed to someone who lives in Poland yet hates the country and it's people. I'm not racist anyway-Islam isn't a race just as Christianity isn't.

As indeed has your post. This is a road rage incident between a Muslim and a white person who could be any nationality.

So you're happy to turn a blind eye to posts started by certain other individuals on this board who repeatedly pick negative news stories from the net about Poles being involved in one crime or another yet the first time I do it AND it happens to be a Pole on the receiving end then you take issue with it.......interesting.

It's clearly a racist rant against a non-muslim whether the muslim guy knew the couple were Polish or whether he was having a rant about the fact that they were white..it's still racist.

The woman doesn't appear to be shielded at all by her partner although you clearly see what you want to see.

Far more awful than what happened to the Polish couple in Rimini!

What happened to the Polish couple in Rimini was truly awful. An innocent couple trying to enjoy their holiday and end up being subjected to a sexual and violent assault. By all accounts the perpetrators were illegal immigrants.....

Perhaps you should visit Poland before making claims about it which are very clearly contradicted by reality.

The reality is in the video so nothing has been contradicted. Oh yes, I forgot, If Harry declared something false then it is thereby false....welcome to Harry's universe..............

One good thing about video is that it's harder to disguise any bias. The video speaks for itself unless you want to claim that the people involved are actors

Show me some posts where I have displayed vile racism.

Your hypocrisy knows no limits Harry as your sole agenda on this forum is to paint Poles in a poor light-how do we know that your name isn't Klaus or Mohammed or Vladimir and you haven't just inflitratred this forum to destabilise Poland :)

I have visited Poland many times as previously said. Perhaps you should prove how many brain cells you have before making unfounded accusations about fellow forum members.

Their nationalities/religions are not the issue

I'm afraid you are wrong. The Muslim man is clearly heard referring to the Polish guy as "pork eaters" or words to that effect. This is not a simple road rage issue. Why are you banging on about an issue at Asda that has nothing to do with Poland or Poles ? Are you also trying to side track forum posts like Harry and his crew ?

Disgusting behaviour. Thankfully, Poland remains an unattractive place for Muslims to settle in large numbers and long may it continue.

UK, Ireland / 31 year old Polish man causes accident under influence of alcohol and kills 8 [198]

So once again your are completely biased against the accused only because he is Polish

I'd say your statement is a pretty accurate description of Jon and his friends on this forum.

Sometimes I seriously wonder if they're not tolerated by the board as they stimulate debate.......

Travel / Winter clothing for Poland (Gdansk) [11]

he shopping malls round Gdansk are pretty good

Yes ! I'm amazed at the sheer number of large scale malls around Tri-City.

Designer clothes are not cheap in Poland (or even cheaper) so don't expect to pick up a bargain but as others have said there are some great brands that are not always readily available in your own country.

PS Massimo Dutti is a great brand :)

History / Can anyone from Poland tell me about Auschwitz and The Ghetto? [505]

Facts are facts!

Well by the standards of your own argument (or facts as you like to call them) then Jews were equally responsible and supportive of the Nazi regime by the work that many of them did in these death camps.

History / Can anyone from Poland tell me about Auschwitz and The Ghetto? [505]

For the umpteenth time, people, I'm NOT "blaming" Poland or the Poles for antisemitism!

You were blaming Poles for their "help" and "support" of the Germans when concentration camps were built on Polish soil using the argument that some other countries didn't have concentration camps therefore the Poles were in some way responsible for having the camps on their own soil

Law / Uber in Poland - illegal [27]

ber are cheaper than conventional taxis, the drivers are politer,

Uber is not always cheaper.

I only signed up to Uber two months ago and used them a few times. In my experience they are cheaper for longer journeys but more expensive on shorter journeys. You are right that the drivers are much more polite probably because they're aware of the rating system. One drawback though is they can sometimes be overly friendly, trying to force a chummy conversation with you when you'd rather stare blankly out the window. On my last Uber trip the driver didn't shut up for 20 minutes !

Another thing to be aware of is that Uber prices for the same journey change depending upon the demand and can often double or triple during peak periods.

Off-Topic / Result of Danish Elections may be favorable to Poland [45]

Uh-uh, spiritus! No soap.

Hitler was also successful in running multiple death factories with the cooperation of Jews who "willingly" helped Nazis with the whole extermination process as described previously.

You didn't answer my questions though Lyzko.

You are the one who made the claim so the burden of proof lies with you to justify your argument with facts and not the rest of us to prove you are wrong.

You could of course answer our questions with your own questions but it would only prove that you're unable to prove your outlandish claims.

What next ? Tell us that Elvis Presley is still alive and we have to prove otherwise :D

News / Poles say a big YES to our European Union [222]

And the straight answer is that 88% of Poles support membership of our EU.

Nothing straight about it.

There's no detail about the exact question asked in the poll. If the question asked was "do you support Poland being in the EU" then it doesn't leave people much room to manoeuvre. It's like asking someone "do you like black and white movies" ? It really depends on the detail.

Most Poles do not want migrants or migrants and if that was a condition of having to be part of the EU then you would get a very different response

History / Can anyone from Poland tell me about Auschwitz and The Ghetto? [505]

Auschwitz-Birkenau remains one of Poland's places of shame, "Polish" concentration camps, or not:-)

Do buzz off Lyzko !

Poland was not responsible for Auschwitz and any attempt to prove otherwise will mean you have an agenda you are trying to push.

Work / Business ideas for Poland [59]

I've seen (in Poland) people open a business that they had a dream of running, rather than one that there's a market for. .

Agreed though it isn't only in Poland.

Here in the UK I often see small independent shops open and I know they'll be lucky to last a year. Very sad because I think it takes guts to start a new business and these people obviously believe their idea will be successful but it's very easy to fall in love with your own idea and not consider it more impartially.

News / Polish man tries to sell British mother into white slave trade [128]

Of course, it also happens the other way around where Poles are also subjected to despicable people.

A vile example of Muslims using Poles as slaves. The criminal in question is Muslim.

Food / Poles prefer pizza & kebab? [64]

@Cardno85

Yes-that's what I was telling Wulkan. Irritating when someone thinks they know better than someone who lives in the country being discussed.

As you say, there is a certain amount of crossover so Chinese takeaways may also sell chips and kebab shops too but fish and chip shops are not as popular as some might think

News / The real Poland honoured Uprising at patriotic sing-song [34]

I watched it this evening and also last year and I am not ashamed to admit that it brought tears to my eyes.

In the reaƂ, patriotic Poland there is no place for "ulica, zagranica

In the "real, patriotic Poland" there is no place for partisan politics. For YOU, Polonius, to politicise an event to commemorate the people who sacrificed their lives for a free Poland is very low.

I couldn't give a rat's arse who organised it and nor should you.

Some of the survivors from the Uprising may be staunch PO supporters-does that stop them from being a "real" Pole ?

History / UK betrayal of Poland during and after WWII [12]

You sound like a chip of the Russian/Soviet block. Any connections?

something very fishy about the opening post-I agree. In my experience, most English people have little knowledge of what happened with Poland after the war and the ones that do know a bit believe Poland should be grateful for the UK declaring war on Hitler. Troll bait....

And I agree, there's nothing cushy about life on benefits in the UK.

I nearly choked on my sandwich. Life on benefits in the UK is very cushy. One benefit opens the door to another which opens the door to another.

Why do you think the migrants from Africa want to come here ? To work ??
