Ive heard theyre trying to unionize in the US but it failed.

Unions always fail in the end.

Did I say that?
No, I did not.
But you are a bit like Pawian, you are, to a lesser degree, narrow minded.
The Jews did things, some unintetionaly and others deliberately that alienated them to Poles.
The lack of assimilation was the big one.
Educated Jews did assimilate in their droves.
But the uneducated poorer masses caused the main problem.
And that bad feeling against Jews then fed back and hurt the assimilated Jews.
There is no right and wrong here.
This was a huge misunderstanding between two culrures.

Forget their nationality- their nastiness is what matters

Again,childish comment without a true appreciation of history.

So do I, darling. I critisize Polish nationalists` attitude to Jews which escalated from rejection through persecution to murder.

You may well have some cause for concern in what you say.
But it is your fervour and hatred of these Poles that sticks in my craw.
Can you really not be open minded enough to see both sides?
I don't think there was anyone to blame for the Polish/Jewish enmity.
It just evolved from occurrences and some actions from both sides.
Playing the blame game is just childish.

What may be true in Poland does not necessarily translate well to other countries.

I am not even sure that I would label PIS as purely right wing.

Like British cuisine.
Anything that comes from the main inhabitants of their country.
Goulash is incorporated into Polish cuisine but we all know that it is not a traditional Polish dish.Same as Jewish cuisine.
Or Indian cuisine in Britain that was devised in Britain and is now a very popular part of British cuisine, but is still not traditional.

That's like saying that some Indian Currys are traditional British cuisine, because they were invented in Britain!
Yes they may be part of our current cuisine, but, just like the Jewish food, they are not traditional.

That may be so.But this is not Polish food.
Listen, I accept that the Jewish influence on Poland has been quite great, especially in cuisine.Although it mainly worked in one direction, Jews did not adopt much Polish cuisine.

Having said that, I think Jewish cuisine is superb.
I remember reading advice to Polish travellers many years go that said, if you can't find Polish food, eat Jewish, not only is it good food, but because of how careful Jews are in food preparation, it is safe.

But the point remains.
Pawian depicting these dishes as Polish is just a lie.
