I saw ( some time ago) a documentary about black people in Poland, done with the usual modern bias asking about Poles being racist and so on,

99,9% of black immigrants in Poland claimed that Poles weren't racist, you might believe them or not, or think that it was staged but there is no reason to think like that so I believe that in their experience they haven't encountered racism or at least they did not notice it.

Next, they showed a small number of adult mulattos born and raised in Poland and they claimed 80% of them believed that Poles are racist.

I have given it some thought and concluded that it all depends on the experiences and expectations of those people, black immigrants had their bar set lower than mulattos born in Poland who hated it ( more acute during their teen years) being different due to their skin color and the very fact that some people (kids) pointed it out or just that they were standing out from the crowd made they self-conscious and very sensitive to a real or perceived slight.

That could lead to misunderstanding, lack of communication, and conflicts, and although it is immaterial now due to their small numbers at the moment if the number would rise significantly all those problems would grow substantially. That is given.

Hence my stance, why would we willingly create trouble for ourselves, we have enough on our plate as it is.

To answer the OP's question it might be as well the case because people coming to Poland are already selected in several ways, firstly they can expect welfare that can get in other countries, secondly, if they decide to come to Poland there is a specific reason for that other then looking for riches or easy way to better themselves.

So black immigrants to Poland are already pre-selected and if they wnat to survive in Poland they need to adjust and work and to some exected learn the language.

The problem with such an attitude is that every group has its subgroup that is more vulnerable than others and when you have such a subgroup within a nominal majority that is vulnerable as well, to pander to one group's needs might as well be neglecting the other group and it all creates more mess and problems and resentments that it is worth it.

So the best way forward is to treat people as individuals regardless of their background and alleged group identity. Seems to me to be the best solution.
