For the last few days, every morning I have been woken bu the noise outside near my house. Caretakers or house owners remove ice and snow from sidewalks while drivers who leave their cars in the street or parking lots clean their windscreens. The German Foundation for Organ Transplantation says the number of organs donated fell almost 13 percent to 3,917 last year, the lowest figure in a decade.

Well, 13% compared to 35% in Poland. But, we are talking exclusively about heart transplants in Poland which means life or death for the patient. In Germany, they have a problem with all organ transplants, many of which aren`t so crucial.

Yes, I was never fond of rainbow trout, contrary to my parents who considered it delicious. Today I don`t them as there are so many finer fish available.
