News / Thousands of Polish women attend Czarny Piątek rally in Warsaw [780]

Women have all the same rights that men do in Poland.

Of course not. It seems you are a bit behind with the statistics.

And even in terms of abortion the majority of the Polish population, including women, are against it.

Of course not. It seems you are a bit behind with the statistics.

In case you haven't noticed the birth rates have increased the last few years

And dropped again to pre-500+ levels. It seems you are a bit behind with the statistics.

if anything Poland has reaffirmed its preferences for conservatism and tradition during that time by electing PiS

Not for conservatism but for benefits.

The majority of women, ESPECIALLY Polish women, want conservative traditional Catholic men -

Of course not. It seems you are a bit behind with the statistics.

But either way they not only know their place as a wife and mother but desire it.

Yes, they desire but very little. That is why one kid is enough for them. Do you know how many kids there should be to keep the population in the black?

News / Presidential elections 2020 - your opinions about campaign, candidates [2222]

I can see not chances of A.Duda and PiS giving up this golden opportunity to get better results in polls.

That is why my question still holds true.

how do you think the voters would behave? Who would turn up at ballot stations in bigger numbers: urban voters or countryside ones?

Let`s ask further: young or elderly ones?

Love / Dating a Polish guy. Do they cheat and have multiple women? [50]

I am not sure if you are doing the right thing complaining about Polish men in the Polishforums. A lot of users here are native Polish or Polish descent males - and they are not decent at all. I suspect most or even all of them are incorrigible womanisers. They will not understand your problems.

Polish political scene is quite enigmatic.

Exactly.

E.g., the latest news! Gryzelda has resigned. The reason: health.

PiS biters won`t bite anybody.

Study / Various education and school issues in Poland. Opinions, stories, controversies. [1006]

All propaganda is disgusting when it is aimed at children.

I agree with you. Just look what those kindergarten staff do to kids. They force them to celebrate Grandma/Grandpa Day! Revolting, isn`t it?

The Day comes in January. Actually, two Days - 21st and 22nd.

slices, toast, etc.

Slice - kromeczka/kromusia
Toast - tościk.

etc - sorry, you need to exactly say in English what you want to hear as Polish diminutive.

Off-Topic / When do you teach a Polish \ English child a second language? [8]

My youngest student was 3 when I decided to educate him - my eldest son. At certain stage he started mixing Polish sounds with English ones so the kindergarten speech consultant/therapist told me to give him a break for a while.

They only follow the lifestyle of their Polish and foreign useless partners. Like you. Is it improper behaviour? :):)

Food / Which foods are generally disliked/unpopular in Poland? Which non-Polish foods are slowly gaining popularity? [180]

(cousins in the country who hunted)..

How did they check it for parasites?

Nutria tastes a bit like very light, lean beef (imagine beef as a light meat...) very tender.

You mentioned it before but I didn`t know it was sold in shops, I thought it was some private source, an individual grower. Amazing - never heard of eating nutria coz they are kept basically for their skins.

Dying? Poland is thriving like never before. The country and people are the richest theyve ever been.

I didn`t say dying but dying OUT, meaning depopulation. Why do you always have to mention money? :)

And what feminism is supposed to save the society?

Why do you always have to talk about feminism and ugly feminists? Right now, we are talking about average women gaining their rights at last and putting an end to their exploitation and abuse by men.

Thats because most Poles are conservative and assume traditional gender roles especially in marraige,

Yes, and that`s what must be changed coz women refuse to bear kids in such conditions - they don`t want to be exploited by conservative males anymore.

You should remember one thing - there is no return to old times. The sooner males realise it, the less chance for white genocide there will be.

Do you seriously believe politicians put forward bills for a vote on the floor of parliament without knowing if they have the votes or not?

Do you seriously believe politicians worldwide DON`T propound bills knowing they don`t have enough votes? Is it a rule in the country where you live? So it must have very strange politics. :):)

Well, a glaring example of how it worked in history is the defeat of communism.

hahaha The defeat of communism took place after 70 years of its murderous duration during which communists put millions to death. Also, they left economy in ruin and a complete corruption of the society. If you expect that PiS should rule for more or less the same time with similar results, so that you could say its future demise is done in full honesty and in velvet gloves, I must strongly and vehemently say: NO!

Please, give up on that naivety of yours. You are so ridiculously touching. :):) The truth is: when dealing with political gangsters like PiS, one needs to use tough methods. Other don`t work. We will clean up that mess later on,the first task is to remove PiS.

You seem to think putting forward honest proposals is a sign of weakness,

It is obvious we don`t understand each other and will never do: To me, that WAS an honest proposal. What politicians did with it later on is another matter and I don`t care about it. If I or anybody from my family is diagnosed for cancer tomorrow, I would like to know there will be means to provide proper treatment for us. Rejecting the bill, PiS sentenced thousands of people to death. Let them be cursed for ever.

Thank you but I am afraid, we are losing time. Can we end this futile discussion coz I have said what I needed to and now want to deal with sth else. I have a short-time attention span, you know. :):)

Is 'Chlebuśka' an even smaller loaf? Or does that have different implications?

Not in nominative case. But if you really want to use it, you can. When there`s a will, there`s a way, too. :)
So, instead of saying chlebusia in accusative case: Chcesz pysznego chlebusia? Wanna yummy itsy bitsy bread? you could say: chlebuśka which is a variation of chlebusia. A possible invention but not as cute.

I guess if you are not used to it then lamb does have quite a strong flavour. Do you like venison?

But it seems you use mutton and lamb interchangably, while I only object to mutton coz I had lamb a few times and it was OK.

Venison which I had was OK coz it was processed - I mean deer or wild boar sausage. As for raw meat, I ate one as a young man which was a long time ago so I don`t remember now. That meat is available here but I don`t fancy buying and eating it. I am put off by potential parasites in it.
