Fair play. I'm not much interested in fringe political candidates or movements like theirs, I think the massive amount of attention given to them is unnecessary. I do think however it would be productive to talk about the state of the UK government which did arrest 4,000 people last year for 'mean' posts on social media that caused some people to be 'distressed' (god forbid). Or the fact that they allowed a Paki sex ring to operate for years in Rotheram. Or the most egregious I've read in the news, a 16 year old girl getting charged with 'hate speech' (a fake made up term) for insulting her 29 year old Turkish born rapist.

Let's address those things. Because they are real, and they cause real harm to CITIZENS of the UK, in favor of FOREIGNERS.

The problem is that within the message from English Defence League and Britain First, there are elements of truth. That they can find no one to represent their interests in there, is fuel to these movements fire. Mainstream political parties in England would do well to address the legitimate gripes within their messages, so as to pull their supporters away from extremism. Is it that hard to understand?

You can look at the things that have happened to Tommy Robinson for instance. He was essentially imprisoned for saying 'mean things' and hurting peoples feelings. That is one thing I am struggling to understand about the UK's laws on speech. No one has the right to not be offended or feel uncomfortable. I think that putting him in prison for being mean, 1. only added to his stature, and 2. probably increased his supporters. See, lost inside the obsessing over the person delivering the message, is the actual message, like the 16 year old girl charged with "hate speech" (in quotes because hate speech is a made up, fake term, just like white privilege) for insulting her 29 year old Turkish-born rapist. Or for instance the Rotheram sex-ring run by Pakis. Those are real constituents, of lower SES backgrounds, and their voices are not being represented anywhere.

So the point is, the mainstream parties should find a way to include those people into their fold and take the wind from the sails of people like Britain First.

I don't know anything about this Miedlar guy. 'Jayda' and Britain First are merely a reaction to lower socioeconomic class communities being overrun with 1st generation immigrants from cultures of savagery and barbarism that they view (however right or wrong) as destroying the social fabric of their neighborhoods. They see their government as less representative of them, and more interested in the welfare of foreigners. We are seeing this across Western Europe, which is precisely the reason that the AfD has had a historical victory in Germany, and why so many in the LGBTQ community are voting for them, because they see these foreigners from 7th century savage cultures as an existential threat to their own existence, destined to be thrown off the highest building in town. Progressives would do well to wake up to this fact (as we have seen, they've done so in Austria) less they drive centrists and center-right folks square into the arms of the far-right, which is good for no one. That unfortunately requires REAL dialogue, and a real discussion of the interests of those people in those areas. What will not get the job done? Virtue signaling, condescension, pontificating, and a general disdain for these people as 'less than,' which seems to be the prevailing attitude of progressives when dealing with conservatives.

While I'm a neophyte to Polish politics, I can say that they are on the right track when western media is doing hit pieces on them. For anyone with a modicum of nuance and critical thinking skills, the hit piece that CNN did on Poland's "60,000 white supremacists" marching through Warsaw, for their freaking independence day parade; that was a turning point for me and I finally understood this idea of "fake news." I mean, it was an outright journalistic fabrication. The west wants to punish them, and Hungary, for not wanting to destroy their national identity and have thousands of citizens raped. It's unreal, but as I said this is all I need to know about PiS to know they're charting the right course for their country, and that they truly care about their citizens. We had a man acquitted of murder in the US today, who was in possession of weapon illegally (prohibited person; felon in possession), and had been deported FIVE times from the United States, but one of the sanctuary cities in California would not allow ICE to deport him for the 6th time after his 9 millionth arrest. The argument isn't that cars don't kill more people per year than illegal immigrants, the argument is that we can't get rid of cars or curtail their use, but we absolutely can protect our fellow country men and women and keep dangerous individuals out through proper vetting, or not have them at all.

To be honest the main motivation of a lot of the politicians has been specifically to antagonize Russia. A very good friend of mine works in the Verkhovna Rada as a lawyer and policy analyst. That the Ukrainian MPs have a lack of foresight to the way it antagonizes Poland is more willful ignorance than intentional. For instance, in 2015 it was proposed renaming the street the Russian embassy is on to Bandera Ulitsa (Bandera Street). The other thing that chaps the ass of Russians is tearing down statues of the genocidal murderer Stalin. I was born and raised in New Jersey. The Democrats have been an absolute DISASTER for our state. Corzine as a frigging disaster, and anyone who thinks that Chris Christie is a real conservative is HIGH! Look, before I left the states to work abroad permanently, our property tax was $1,200/month on a 4,200sq.ft. home that cost $480,000. The ways in which New Jersey nickel and dimes its high income earners, or in fact EVERYONE, is insane. According to international law, they are to seek refuge in the FIRST SAFE COUNTRY that they reach. I want to respond to each of you when I have more time. I just want to say how disappointed I am to hear BOTH of you go straight to the FALSE EQUIVALENCY and point out a mass shooting in America. I'm surprised you didn't bring up Christian atrocities from 600 years ago and draw more false parallels between the two. You need to understand, it does not reduce your virtue or feel-good points to simply point out these particular cultures and their ideology have a REAL problem with violence and sexual assault, the problem often is the left conflates this observation and says that we said its "ALL." No one has ever said its ALL, but it is certainly an unhealthy number, whether its 25% or 80%, its far too much.

You don't actually believe that out of 1 million Ukrainians in Poland, there are only legitimately 6,000 refugees. I don't think you're serious, I really just think you're pointing out this number to serve your agenda of forcing 7th century savages and barbarians onto Poland, so they share in the misery and degradation thats happened in the UK, France, Germany, and Belgium. Any Ukrainians currently in Poland who are from Luhansk or Donetsk oblasts in Ukraine, that left after 2014 are in fact refugees. Whether they have applied for asylum or not is a simple administrative matter, but they can rightly claim refugee status. So while all 1 million of them may not in fact be refugees, and a large portion may be economic refugees, the number of those who we would consider refugees according to U.N. standards is far greater than 6,000.

To address your second point. What you're suggesting is that Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic suffer an immense burden because one president, in one member state (Germany), acted unilaterally to set EU immigration policy by telling millions of barbarians to flood into the union. Had the European Union met during this massive migration and reached a deal, maybe you'd have an argument, but as it stands, Germany acted alone and caused this crisis, and now they are asking the rest of the member states to suffer for their F-up.

Yes, I'm a defense contractor. And thank you for such a reasoned and well tempered response, I genuinely appreciate it, and think we have found common ground. I also believe that genuine refugees do deserve refuge, I do take issue with the fact that under international law (if such a thing exists), they are to seek refuge in the first safe country they reach. But alas, that isn't the reality we currently find ourselves in. Countries with genuine conflicts do qualify, but certainly these economic refugees from all over Africa MUST be repatriated to their country of register.

To your previous point. Yes, we do take their money, although I work on a contract administered by the US government, so I'm not actually sure whose money I'm taking! The reality however is, that any ESSENTIAL functions in these countries are not provided by local residents. All essential functions are provided by westerners (US/UK/AUS/NZ/GER/FRA/SPA), all menial labor is then provided by Indians,Bangladeshis,Sri Lankans, & Pakistanis. To give you some perspective, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a population of 23 million, 8.6 million of them being expatriates. Bahrain has a population of 600,000, with 300,000 being expatriates. The United Arab Emirates is 70% expatriates by population, and on, and on, and on. I do not view it as taking their money however, because we function to preserve the sovereignty of these countries, and our governments (I assume you're from the US or UK) guarantee their security and territorial integrity. So really it is more of an exchange, than some sort of perverse exploitation.

You know that I was totally on board with just about everything you said, until you had to add in "appallingly." Right, because I currently live in the Middle East, and you're going to tell pontificate to me about how there is not a pervasive problem in the cultures of people from this region. I live here and deal with them every single day. So yes I will repeat that the people from this region and North Africa do indeed have 7th century cultural ideologies when it comes to the role of women, their rights, and the rights of LGBTQ people and their ability to live their lives and exist. They have open hostility to western civilization, our values, our right to exist as a country, our religion, and to suggest otherwise is an affront to the people who have given their lives in furtherance of those ideas. They do not have any place in our society, their cultural ideologies being antithetical to European liberal values. I will have to laugh at the idea that Poland's previous government made that deal, so of course the new one has to honor it. Ukraine gave up 1,200 nuclear weapons and the United Kingdom and United States in exchange for protecting its sovereignty. If two of the biggest powers in the world do not honor their agreements, I think you are holding Poland to an unjust and unfair standard on this issue. (I'm American btw).

Aside from the actual hard facts, in which sexual assaults have indeed gone up in number due to the refugee influx, do you know any actual German people? I mean, we can speak anecdotally for a minute, and I'll say that the Germans I work with do not want to go back to their country, and frequently refer to it as "ruined." The chickens are coming home to roost, in Germany and in Sweden.

You could continue to be completely disingenuous and borderline willfully dishonest in order to toe the party line of progressive self-destruction and voting against your own self-interests. However, the only thing that position is going to get you, me, and the rest of Europe, is MORE far-right politicians in office. It should say something when we actually had to contemplate whether Marine LaPen and Geert Wilders would win an election. I really would not like to see far-right politicians in office in Europe, but continue to advocate those policies of the forced proven failure of multiculturalism, and that is what we will have.
