75 Years of Israel and the War - part 3 [576]
Poland didn't do shlt
Well, sometimes someone has to help. The Poles couldn't cope with the pagan Prussians, so the Teutonic Order helped them. Then they couldn't cope with the Teutonic Order, so the Lithuanians and Jews helped them. Then World War I helped them regain independence. Then they couldn't cope with the Jews, so the Germans helped them. Then they couldn't cope with the Germans, so the Russians helped them. Finally, they couldn't cope with the Russians, so the Russians themselves, who couldn't cope with anything at the time, helped them. And finally, the Poles couldn't cope with the economy, so the European Union helped them. Yes, sometimes nations need a little luck.
