well if it is going via the UK it might be of interest to them - it would probably have to be imported and exported.

Besides at least they will have up to date information

if you are resident in the UK, why not ask the DVLA - I am sure their information would be more reliable than people on a forum.

I think Polish people are too sensitive about not being "rude" in UK.

I cannot say that I have ever noticed that, lol.
But you are right, personally what I find really 'rude' is shop assistants doing that really passive aggressive thing while pretending to be all polite.

eg 'yes my love , no my love'....erg I could slap them.

look in Poland landlords and employers will not welcome you because you are white, you will just be treated like another bloody foreigner.

omg i only just now had my attention drawn to this comment - Edinburgh Girl staying at home with children is not a 'breeze' regardless of your wonderful previous career, in fact the latter would make it harder.

anyway apart from anything else European women in general, I dont see why Polish women would be any different from the rest of us, should go out to work and earn money in case their partner is no longer around for whatever reason....even if they are now in the position (that fewer and fewer families are) of being able to live on one salary/wage.

Lisa instead of asking for help from strangers on a public forum, help yourself a bit and use google and your grandparents birthlines to get what you want.

As far as I know, if your grandparents were born there you will have no problem.
If however what you dont like about the states is haveing to pay ten cents for a bag and receiving health advice from the government, then I would suggest you will find much worse problems in Poland.

and by the way I imagine most English teachers have a first degree in EG law, history, etc and have then done a teaching certificate or diploma.

so slagging off their university degrees is a bit of a non starter.
