Work / Black English Teacher going to Wroclaw [247]

in every thread about blacks coming to Poland

there is at least 5 comments from jarnowa who's jealous they are getting laid and he isn't. are polish girls sleeping with black guys out of sentiment too? lol. i can't believe you're still trolling on this forum, you could use the time you post here on getting a date. try internet dating or chatrooms and leave this forum alone you useless spammer!

Yes they are but Jarnowa is a desired one

looks like grubas is another poor guy who can't get laid and blames it on immigration. you boys should start a club.

Life / Why Polish people should be proud of being Polish? [370]

JustysiaS:
crisps, chewing gum, yoghurt...

What do you mean - that you can get lots of different flavours of the above in Poland?
Nothing unusual in that.

with crisps, there are no cheetos and the flavours are quite limited, i've not seen hazelnut flavoured crisps here for example. same for orbit chewing gum, i really like that pink one (for kids lol) and you can't get it here, same as watermelon or citrus. and same with yoghurt, plus the Polish ones just taste nicer. in UK you can only have a few choices of each thing, in Poland you have LOTS. it might be petty but it's true. and you can't deny the chocolate flavours. what is it with chilli chocolate in UK does anybody actually eat it? :/

Bzibzioh:
No, Polish chocolate is not the best, just OK.

Oj, bo się pogniewamy...

Polish chocolate is just perfect, cadburys and German or Belgian chocolate seem to be too 'rich' and sickening.

Jaffa Cakes are nice, but they are just orange, aren't they? Whereas Wedel's version comes in many (even better) flavours :)

yeah just orange, boring! isn't it weird how in Poland everything comes in many flavours? stuff like chocolate (UK don't really make chocolate with fillings, in Poland you can get virtually any flavour you want), crisps, chewing gum, yoghurt...

Are there delicje cookies in other countries or is it an exclusive invention of Wedel?

jaffa cakes are pretty much the same thing but i'm not sure what was first :/

Love / Are all beautiful Polish girls as crazy as this? [262]

You've just got the wrong idea of Polish women, there are spoilt princesses out there but they're not just Polish. You can either play their game, get what you want and walk away, or ignore. You can usually tell straight away whom you're dealing with anyway, they can't hide their feeling of superiority and the expectation of men worshipping them. And men will just never learn ;).

They only believe what you let them believe, you were not the first and not the last guy who fed their ego's and made them feel like someone they are not. They usually think that their presence should be enough for you and that you should be grateful for the fact they spend their time with you, even though there is nothing they can offer you. For every beautiful woman there is a guy who is tired of sleeping with her, because there is simply nothing else you can do with a bimbo lol.

It's a sad truth that most of the time if a girl is beautiful and she knows it she will be ruthless too. Girls like that are obviously very attractive and whoever dates them feels like they have been blessed by gods but seriously, how long can you put up with a spoilt, stuck up and ignorant b*tch like that? She has most likely no interest in you as a person, she also has no interest in your life and being a part of it. All men fall for at least one woman like that but sooner or later they will get tired and find someone good and nice. Stuck up girls will lose their looks at some point and then realise they have burned all the bridges and that they are all alone. I wouldn't give them the time of day, attention is what they get off on, when you take it away from them they have nothing.

well you see, cos she got the control, laughed in my face, i don't like that, and always tend to want to get back at someone like that, it's hard for me to forget stuff like that. I know it's my problem too

you obviously can't get back at the particular girl who treated you this way so do you think it's fair to take out revenge on other Polish girls who don't have anything to do with it? southern is right you are stuck and vengeful, not a good couple of traits. there has to be some sort of a problem in YOU that you find yourself attracted to the same wrong kind of woman. look outside of the box, there are plenty of nice girls out there, Polish or not, and try to form a healthy relationship in the future. if you see any signs like the above, get rid. it really is that simple.

Genealogy / THE MEANING AND RESEARCH OF MY POLISH LAST NAME, SURNAME? [4500]

No one in family speaks Polish surprisingly seeing as that we have been in this country since before WWI. My last name is Hejnowski

I did a quick search and Hejnowski is a surname that originated from the Gdansk area. it comes from the German word hein which means something like huh? or eh? (it's an interjection). also when used as a first name, Hein means 'house ruler'. hope this helps!

Life / SOME OBSERVATIONS ABOUT POLAND AND POLISH SOCIETY [297]

There are lots of Poles working in the UK as cashiers... you never know who they really are.

i know it when i see a polish person, you can always tell. that and their accent that i'd recognise. plus in uk most cashiers wear name tags :)

ex-pats being annoyed about cashiers being slow and needing the exact change :/

it's true about the change, they always want some change the bunch of tramps lol. but in general i find service much MUCH faster in Poland. maybe when they see a foreign person (foreign people stand out a lot) they slow down just to annoy you i dunno ;)

They respect their work. I like this point of view :)

i would LOVE to see a British cashier working on a till in Poland with a queue building up and everybody dying to get through ;D

you say WHAT??? They are really slow, especially in the supermarket.

seriously, everytime i go back they are so fast i can't even blink twice and all my shopping's been put through the till. they are really fast especially in biedronka. get you lot getting used to fast service, british cashiers are lazy as hell and they turn the products around 3 times before they even find the barcode!

lame excueses of labeling me indian

in india it is said, " aaina dikhaya to bura man gai" it simply means that when truth was revealed they got angry.

why are you getting so upset with people calling you indian when you clearly are indian? i could tell you were from a third world country by the poor English and stereotyping in your first post.

has ever any polish lady even dared to enter such contest.

um of course, the miss world competition consists of beautys from all over the world and Poland has many beautiful women who go very far in those contests. how do indian women do in such contests? shilpa shetty is a bollywood actress who was on big brother in UK and ok she is pretty but not stunning. jonanna krupa, izabella scorupco... now those are beautiful women.

they prefer bigger hipps and bigger rounded shaped two assets of woman.

is that why all indians in UK go for the obese women? cos they are very round indeed.

the day when india will become a big power

the same day pigs will fly, but i suspect the flying pigs phenomenon will be more likely as all of india's people who have an ounce of intelligence in them escape your poverty, hunger and discrimination stricken country like rats abandoning a sinking ship.

the way cashiers are clearing customers even crawling snakes will be ashamed to see it.

i don't know what stores you go to but Polish cashiers, especially those in Poland, are like the fastest cashiers in the world

IF YOU HATE IT IN POLAND SO MUCH GET BACK TO YOUR OWN COUNTRY, THANK YOU

Discrimination with coloured skin is too much evident in every day life

If you're such a fancy shmancy well travelled "manager" then why is your English so poor? Please, i don't want to be disrespectful towards your motherland or your race but why the hell all of you muslims try to force your religion upon everyone? You lot are the most uncivilised bunch on the whole planet, dressing in rags and treating women like second class citizens as examples! And you have the cheek to come here and share your 'valuable observations' which are clearly those of someone who is very bitter because he's upset. Polish people attend church more than any other people i know and it's not just old women, it shows you made all this rubbish up because you know nothing. Now get back to your market stand, Ali, and keep selling all those fake adidas t-shirts. Businessman my ass!

Life / Womans day in Poland? [242]

the obvious "fact" that most men are very visual

exactly, so it's a blessing if a woman likes to fill their time together with all the nice visual stuff ;). pretty bad though if she will use it as blackmail and the guy can't resist. it's a bit like with children, if you let them get away with something once because they behave a certain way, they will use it again and again because it 'works'. but then if a woman is prepared to use her assets against you then she's just not the woman for you.

women have "headaches"

you do know that sex is the best cure for headache, or in fact most of those little pains and aches. it releases the happy hormones - endorphins - into your body and takes it all away, better than painkillers. so next time she plays the headache card tell her you have just the cure for it ;)

PS. In the name of our discussion I'd love to see Justysia in those stockings and suspenders - just for our debate's sake of course. LOL

i'm afraid you're gonna have to take my word for it ;)

As to 'giving' -- women buy stuff for themselves and then claim they did it for their man.

err cos we do, wouldn't wear this kinky sh!t to work or around the house would we now

a "privilege" to be metted out when a woman wants or needs something.

some women do that but they only use it as a weapon cos men let them. in a relationship sex can't be used as currency to get stuff and favours with, it kinda comes inclusove doesn't it. i suppose it would be funny if a guy tried to do the same thing but then we have more assets to bargain with ;). i still reckon that women will only do this sort of thing if the guy lets them. men use sex to shut us up and distract us too so women are not the only guilty ones here. oh and make up sex, but that's not so bad :)

without knowing it women are admitting to their narcissism while pretending to be above it all

many guys i spoke to said they get yelled at when they open doors for women or offer to take their coat etc., no wonder chivalry is dying out. i always say thank you when they do that for me, i hold doors for people too.

Polish women are spoiled.

we don't only expect of men to hold the doors for us, we want a red carpet too ;)

In the US we don't celebrate Women's Days.

neither they do in UK by the looks of it, even though it's the international women's day

Valentines Day is for both male and females but in Poland they think it's for women.

that's not true, men get cards and presents as well, it's up to them if they want to treat their lady to more than just a flower and a card

Women retire earlier in Poland than men.

same in UK

Yes we do; it would be a nice change from the usual. It would also teach women the art of giving. A set of golf clubs would be nice.

my boyfriend already has an impressive set of golf clubs so he has to make do with all the lingerie i buy for myself. in fact i bet that he would prefer more of that than a new set of golf clubs ;D

Love / They seem nice, but could Polish girls be "gold diggers"? [196]

It is simply an addiction. The more you get the more you want.

yes, desperate for more

Yes,because we are rather vulnerable and girls know that.

so shut the hell up and stop moaning about gold diggers. it's the only way you can get sex.

Polonia / Which country is better SPAIN or POLAND [113]

has the illegal immigration got so bad they had to hire a hitman to get rid of those who don't wanna leave?? ha ha... stay in spain dzikus, in Poland you will stand out like a sore thumb, not something you want if you're an illegal immigrant.
