Life / What should parents and schools in Poland do to discipline flippant children? [16]

I agree with you,my kids never hit by both of us and never refused for anything if we could afford something only told whats ours is theres also now are well educated and well settled earing 6 figures in there 20s.All i asked was NO drugs,No Tatoos,No piercings,and no baggy pants which they followed to do and fit well in corporate america.

Some of my friends kids I see are problems and in heart I see its parents bringing up who mind there kids too much either too liberal or too strict.And yes private schools do make a difference then public schools which expose them to trash no matter what town you live in(im talking america) even if it is a good/rich town,parents still could be trash.

Also I feel bad about childless fathers* who cant have that experience:)

Life / Gas / Benzyna prices in Poland [29]

Strange to see the benzine price is still 4.55 in poland sux as it is where I have been paying 1.90$ a gallon frm 3.75 a gal,why is it not coming down in Poland as barrel has fallen to 48$ and OPEC just decided again not to cut production?

I have a permit to carry one almost anywhere I want. Do I ? NO

What state do you have the permit from? and you cannot carry concealed weapon in any other state other then the state that issued you a permit.I have a permit from nj but cannot carry it loaded on me but in a seperate case with seperate ammo in the back of my truck.I am not allowed to take it in any other state atleast legally.It can be only carried in person unloaded when im going to the range or target practising at an designated area.

Example, if someone robbed me or burglerized my home I WOULD NOT take my gun out from under my jacket.

Then why do you even own one?I would if someone comes to my house with intent to harm me.

After watching an unarmed European police officer get executed in cold blood because he didn't have a gun
to defend himself might change some minds on the issue.

Really,You meant that french cop?If so I cant believe he was unarmed and policing.I saw the video and thought he was injured.

I predict that you will see the Euro drop as low as 106 in 2015 which won't be good for the zloty either.

I was also told the same by a wall street worker.

i would personally change your money today at 3.48, don't think its likely to go much higher and i would be surprised if it stays at this rate for very long.

Yesterday I paid 2.01$ a gallon,paid 49bucks to fill tank,once paid almost 120$ for the same tankfull of gas,amazing!

its 1.99 a gal in costco today:)))

I have been coming to Poland for 14/15 years now and never encountered any problems.I am sure if you show obvious reasons someone will get you then,just be noemal and polite and you will be ok.

Food / Bary mleczne/milk bars in Poland [31]

its suppose to be a cheap place to eat but is actually not.If you buy the whole set like they serve in a restaurant it almost comes out to 16 to 20 $ a meal except soup is cheap.There has been tales that during commi times they tied spoons to the tables,I always wonder how did they wash them when the next customer came?I love the food there though true polish ones,also the canteens in govt offices serve real tasty polish food and cheaper.

BTW im a yank also something wrong????????
