In regards to the spending habits of Poles, i dont think they spend twice what they make but i what i can say for sure is that i could never understand how they were able to buy what they did with how little they earned. I guess this is where the "polak potrafi" saying comes in;)

I think all of these polish medical universities are scams. I am somewhat familiar with the school in Krakow as one of my cousins studied there (i spent quite a bit of time there while he was studying and i was living in PL). Most of the international students were from either sweden or norway - close to 100% of these students were failures who couldn't get into any medical schools in their home countries so their parents paid for them to go to Poland. When they graduate they go home to work as MDs. Money buys everything.

I wonder if this is the case in western europe too.

Well if people in Poland would go to a dentist regularly for a check up/cleaning then their teeth would look better. Buuut, no one wants to spend money on that, they'd rather spend it on useless stuff.

Most of these Poles were uneducated peasants who couldn't read or write in Polish. When they were asked to write down their names for US officials and couldn't, Americans began to think that all Poles were "dumb."

keep in mind, many ethnc groups were ridiculed in the US at one point or another. Such jokes always originated amongst Americans of English descent and the majority were directed at catholic groups (ie poles, irish).

Drinking raw milk is quite common in rural areas in Poland. I always drank this way when i left the city on weekends, loved it.

I've heard a lot of stories like this. Generally men should be wary of women from poorer countries. I tend to stay away from Polish women and FOBs.

Sadly, when I lived in Poland I heard many foreigners talk about Polish women and "sponsoring." I knew 1 british guy and 1 spaniard at work who had 'sponsoring' arrangements with polish university students. I also suspected my manager (a Pole) of doing the same.

The Polish media has covered this concept many times. It's more common than most people think.

Most women are not very bright and have a very fcuked up way of thinking. Here in canada, in small towns where there are few non-whites, women flock to these non-whites. Why? Because they see them as a treat and something that conservative mommy and daddy would never approve of. They're rebelling.

I think the same goes for Poland, I've seen it when i lived/worked there. Women are incapable of thinking, especially when that biological clock is ticking hard.
