News / New European Council's report: "Poland oasis of racism, xenophobia and homophobia" ... [343]

I'm with you all the way on this one Polonius.
"Poland oasis of racism, xenophobia and homophobia" ...
This is a good thing as it showing the world that their beliefs will not be altered by outsiders to "enrich"
their culture with immorality and sin.
The bible commands me to treat my brothers in Christ with love and respect.
I am not commanded to do so with people who are not my brothers in Christ. (non-christians)
This is not to say I wouldn't but it may help the Progressive Liberals understand why I may appear to
be one of those names they tag me with.
Hats off to Poland for standing strong against these libertines.

News / Kukiz and Petru - newly emerging political stage in Poland [57]

The reason the "Progressive" Brits here are against the PiS is that life is going to get a lot more difficult for them when PiS wins.

Poland is what it is and does need the E.U. influence telling their country what is best for them.
(Just look at the morality mess the rest of the E.U. is in and it is only getting worse by the day)
The Polish people knows what has worked best in the past and are going to keep it that way by voting in the PiS this fall.

The PO are nothing less then legalized crooks.

So what's the options for those who can't stand PO and PiS?

Pawel Kukiz who is very popular with the younger Poles and is coming on strong.
His platform is to rid the corruption of the PO also.
Kukiz would be no surprise to me if he pulled it out.

but do they have to foist those lewd and vulgar displays on the general public?
@ Polonius3

Those are the 0.05% of the 1.5% of the Homo's that do that yet the Liberals say, YOU WILL love them, YOU WILL accept them, YOU WILL tolerate them, YOU WILL go against your Christian Faith, YOU WILL.........

Just another attack in the war against Christianity.

Everybody stick to the topic!

News / Polish parliament refuses to consider shack-up draft between both traditional and same-sex couples [96]

thus missing the point that same-sex couples are completely normal.@ Harry

Compared to what ? Worms ?
It's not "normal" when they get to choose a sperm or egg to create their 'designer child'.
It's not "normal" for a child not to have a male/female role model as parents.
Ask a couple of Lesbians "who did the breast feeding" and you will find out quickly that it is not "normal" or

"what does your baby call you" ?
Ask gay men "where did your baby come from" or "do you think your child will turnout to be gay" and see how those "normal" questions get answered.

I think it is you who may be missing the point that same sex couples are normal......hardly Harry.
Promoting such ilk liberalism to our youth as "normal" is beneath contempt to humanity.
Thank goodness we have people like Polonius3 to challenge this brainwashing of our youth by these libertines.

meaningless post? It could be a post that has nothing to do with the subject of the title

You mean like the last one that was posted in "What are the Polish so conservative and religious" that has
been left up all morning to bait someone to respond to it off thread ?

Poland's latest Sunday mass head count has just dropped to 29.372%

Good

It is unclear at this point whether the RCC can last another year.

Even better

If you falsely ask 'is it true' - admin can falsely ask 'is it true that you are a child abuser'?

No it wasn't falsely asked jon, I exposed you for being the owner of this forum and the administrators job is just to keep the website up and running for you.

We all know your game of charades now.
You can read our private messages, you can intimidate us with warnings, you can CONTROL this forum by posting any damn thing you want, delete any damn thing you want, have your personal little Brit gang to back your personal opinions as god's truth.......so no Pal, I did not falsely ask. Got it !

My thread (that you closed so conveniently) should have read: "Is the Ownner of the Polish forum Polish ?"
Well you should ban yourself with five warnings for ABUSE just to make things fair.
Have you noticed how things quiet right down and no one attacks or argues when you are not here ????
You are the problem jon but since it is your little game you party on son at the expense of the great country of Poland.

No - jon357 doesn't have any moderating or administrative rights on this forum, and he isn't the owner of course

News / When will Poland take on the EURO? [47]

You heard right STProp.
Cash is the biggest nightmare for the governments.
Cash is becoming obsolete.
You can't rent a hotel room with cash, rent a car with cash, get a private utility like satelite or phone service with cash and the list goes on.

You now write a personal check and it is run thru an electronic scanner and handed back to you
with the funds from your account taken out instantly.
Credit cards tell them what you bought, when you bought it and where you bought it.
They know what kind of food you eat, how much gas you put in your car, who your insurance company is, have access to all your health records and that list goes on.

The Euro (if it survives) will soon fall into this digital CONTROL factor also.
Poland will go digital before it goes to the failing Euro.
Everyone in developed countries are just a number.......... soon to come to your home town.
When they put that chip under your skin so they can just scan it for you to pay for all your expenses from food to your health care records, remember what prophesy said over 2000 years ago about the "Mark of the Beast' in the last days.

Language / Busha and JaJa [140]

If Americans want to use the word Busia, good luck to them; they can use absolutely any word they want.

THANK YOU for your permission British jon !
My grandma made the best ever however with the kilo of butter and kilo of sour cream that she added I just had to quit eating them when I got older.

My sister didn't quit in her old age and now if she was an inch taller she would be perfectly round.
Our Polish family uses many Polish/American slang words that are not known in Poland.
Most of them originated in the factories of Detroit in the 40's & 50's.

Genealogy / Why are some Polish people dark complected, and others very light [511]

DNA and skin colour don't matter at all. No difference. They don't have any impact on the way people think or how they behave.

Ba - Loney jon
Then why do people with low i.q.'s produce children with low i.q's.
Why do people with white skin prefer steak and people with black skin prefer chicken.
Why are there more black people in the prisons then white people percentage wise.
Why are people impacted by the race they were born when it comes to race riots and their actions.

No difference.

Yes, difference jon

USA, Canada / 18 and moving back from USA to Poland?? [19]

That is the part I don't understand.
How did she move to the U.S. without being documented ?
U.S. Immigrations would have a record of her embarkment from Poland.
Something isn't copesetic but not to say it's any major problem.

USA, Canada / 18 and moving back from USA to Poland?? [19]

before you make the decision to move" isn't an option as I am undocumented.

If you have lived in the United States for over ten years, have no arrests, can read and write English and pass a simple
immigrations test you're half way there.
(They even send you a DVD for the test with all the questions and answers on it)
I have no idea how you are going to college without a social security number.
You are going to HAVE TO get one to work, get a drivers license, pay your income taxes, ect. to live in the U.S.

So it seems to me that you have no option regardless if you go back to Poland or not to get your U.S. citizenship.

Right now is a very good time to apply as it is easier then ever.
The application fee is $680 and takes about a year of jumping thru their hoops.
I just in the last month helped one of my freinds get theirs so if you have any questions p.m. and I will be glad to help you.

Good luck girl.

Love / How are lesbians seen in Poland (more info inside)? [30]

What about prejudice against lesbians?

Well you know Poland is a prodominately Catholic country which are bible believers.
The bible states clearly that homosexuals will not inherit the Kingdom of heaven so most likely
the Polish people will be praying for your lost soul and feeling sorrow for you.

What about safety for women in general?

What kind of safety are you concerned about ?
Those big stinky sweaty Polish men after work that fart and burp after a beer will have no interest in your kind.
They are looking for women that meet their needs.

you won't even get noticed.

News / Polish final report on Smoleńsk aircrash [870]

Sometimes it takes awhile to convict the guilty.
I read this from the Krakow newspaper with my coffee this morning.

In a statement on March 27, Col Szelag said the Polish investigation had concluded that the Russian air traffic controllers put the flight at risk when they allowed the crew to attempt a landing in fog, and with imprecise instructions. The Polish officials, said Col Szelag, are accused of appointing crew members who did not have the experience or qualifications to fly such a high profile mission in bad weather.

Colonel Szelag said the Russians faced up to eight years in jail if they were tried in Poland and found guilty of 'unintentionally causing the crash'. He did not reveal the full details of the prosecution's case.

Law / USD shooting up so high for PLN [76]

Yeah it is $3.91 today.
This morning the Euro was at $1.05. Hasn't been there in probably 14 years. I remember when it was about $1.40.
The European stock markets are all doing well, but there are underlying problems.
Their central banks are all hot on stimulus like we were with QE 1, 2, 3, etc. That is pushing their interest rates down and the currency rates follow interest rates down. Thus the strength of the dollar.

That's the best way I can describe it.
My gold stocks are down more than 50% because of it.
Just sitting back waiting for war to break out, unfortunately, and then people will start hedging in those gold stocks and I will
be able to retire large in Poland drinking top shelf vodka with Harry.

i would personally change your money today at 3.48, don't think its likely to go much higher and i would be surprised if it stays at this rate for very long.

On 8th March it was up to 3.81 zł = USD $1!

SURPRISE !
My guess is that it will stay this way for the most of 2015 with all the plus variables right now.

Law / USD shooting up so high for PLN [76]

Anyone know why?

It is driven by anticipation of quantitative easing by the European Central Bank.
Stimulus from the ECB has put downward pressure on the euro, the yen, and other currencies, while boosting the dollar.
Looks like it will stay that way the rest of this year hurting my gold stocks bad. :-(

Life / Do you think that Polish people are rude? [951]

I came here for the same reason and found the same as you described.
After being here awhile you will find out that the rude and foul remarks are not coming from the Polish people that post here.
Those remarks are coming mostly from the British Bullies that post on here.
The Polish people here are most helpful with manners.
Don't let a few foreigners discourage you from learning about a country our grandparents came from.
It is a very beautiful country.

USA, Canada / 15 hr. motion on a minimum wage. (USA) [24]

Yes, Yes that is the problem !
I don't know who you drive for or what kind of freight you haul.
If you are only making less than minimum wage ($7 an hour) driving long haul you better find another job.
Yes, long haul truck drivers make $2000 plus a week, not $300 per week as you suggest.
They are only allowed by law to drive so many hours a day.
Yes they work hard and yes they are never home with their families.
And yes finding drivers that are willing to sacrifice never being at home, have a license (cpl),
a clean driving record, can read and write English properly, can pass impromptu drug screening,
no criminal back ground, can pass a physical test, physically fit, and are level headed is tuff to
find in this day and age.
At least give people the benefit of the doubt before you start running your trap about being
ignorant as it makes you look REALLY ignorant.
And yes I have been back and forth across this country several times when younger in an
eighteen wheeler moving people. We did our own loading (by hand) and unloading (by hand)
and worked our ar#e off.

(side bar) I normally don't respond to non members but you are totally ignorant.
Maybe that is why you only make minimum wage driving a pack van.

Most people do not qualify to even obtain a CDL, (commercail drivers license).
The medical part alone cuts out about half the applicants.

Then add in the rest of the requirements it really cuts the field of applicants down.
Same with the commercial airline pilot shortage.

Applicants come up short to qualify for a license.

Many over qualified people are working jobs that they don't need a license for.
That is why expecting $15 an hour to put pickles on a hamburger is fantasy in
this economy.

Why couldn't Skippy just have said 'yes' instead of being so gamey.

If you falsely ask 'is it true' - admin can falsely ask 'is it true that you are a child abuser'? Now it's your turn to prove you are not. Got it? Admin

"If" I did, but I didn't.
Let me ask you this way then, "can you read our personal messages ?"

Now it's your turn to prove you are not.

I don't have to prove anything.
You are the one confusing the issue by going off thread.
Gee's, it was just a simple yes or no question.

History / Polish mathematicians who solved the Enigma machine [86]

Let me para prase some of that.

The Poles did break the code of the Enigma first.
The earliest success against the German military Enigma was by the Polish Cipher Bureau.
In the winter of 1932-33, Polish mathematician Marian Rejewski deduced the pattern of wiring inside the three rotating wheels of the Enigma machine.
In a major breakthrough Rejewski invented a method for finding out from each intercepted German transmission the positions in which the wheels had started at the beginning of the message.

Poland was able to read encrypted German messages from 1933 to 1939.
Could it the movie was more based around Bletchley Park after that in 1940 ?
In 1940 changes were made to the Enigma system which eliminated what Rejewski had discovered in the starting positions.
Bletchley Park in 1940 the code breakers continued from there to break the Germans codes.
I haven't seen the movie yet but surely will.

Wouldn't let me edit para phrase.

I read thru this thread and didn't see where the French were mentioned for their part.
Rejewski was helped by photographs received from the French secret service showing pages of
an Enigma operating manual for September and October 1932.
That had to have been a HUGE help in breaking the code.

News / Parliament in Poland clears way for nuclear plant [78]

It was the smell of coal smoke in the air.

Ah, yes as that is what we heated our house with when I was a kid.
You never forget that smell.
The good points for Poland to build a nuclear energy plant is that it would increase it's independence from Russia.
It would also give Poland an economic boost for the growing demand of electricity.
Also the green house emissions from coal is a nasty.

Poland's life expectancy in part reflects this. That and the preserved pork products.

I think SUGAR plays a much bigger variable in life expectancy then perservatives in food.
Soda pop is a killer.
There are many countries that would be interested in partnering with Poland to build one.

News / Parliament in Poland clears way for nuclear plant [78]

The first nuclear power station wasn't built until the middle of the 20th century.

And I grew up in the area down wind of one of the first ones built.
We were used as guinea pigs.
The cancer rate and birth defects increased to much higher there than other nearby counties.
The plant is now dismantled with it's expended fuel rods to be stored for the next 250,000 years.
It's a two edged sword when you hear how enviromentally clean nuclear power is.
No doubt there has been improvements made in the last 60 years but don't forget what happened
at Chernobyl or Fukashima.

Life / Is a prescription needed to get morning after pills in Poland? [34]

So it prevents the conception, it's not an abortion.

I disagree.

The emergency contraceptive morning after pill has three modes of action that is it can work in one of three ways:

1.The normal menstrual cycle is altered, delaying ovulation; or
2.Ovulation is inhibited, meaning the egg will not be released from the ovary;
3.It can irritate the lining of the uterus so as to inhibit implantation.

Keep in mind that fertilization occurs in the fallopian tube and that fertilization marks the beginning of
a new human life and the beginning of the pregnancy.

The journey from the fallopian tube to the womb takes between five and seven days during which pregnancy
cannot be readily detected.

Therefore, if a woman ingests emergency contraception after fertilization has taken place the third mode of action can occur.
The lining of the uterus can be altered causing the woman's body to reject the living human embryo, making implantation impossible and the child will die.

This result is called a chemical abortion; therefore emergency contraception is an abortifacient.

Of course I want a girl that been raped or had a date rape pill slipped to be able not to get pregnant.

Under those circumstances a Dr. could 'prescribe' such a pill.
They make 'birth control' pills for recreation sex which don't abort and kill a human being.
