It appears Poles somewhat rely on selected bits of Czech history to define themselves.

nonsense, the fact is Poles are the greatest warriors there is .....after doe training, there no question about it, Czech are simple a neighbor laughed at for they lack of martial aptitude, quite rude I would say but not without the case.

sure, you would come up with excuses, you would learn French only because french people would refuse to communicate in English.

Polish language is not that hard, many words and grammar is based on Latin

if someone start like that I know that i not really about long list, its usually boils down to one major problem - you failed and blame the others for your shortcoming's- that list is simply a list of excuses you made to feel better about yourself!

It can even be a real obstacles but boy didn't you know about it before? Should make a field study then ......you lazy git!

From your elusive answer i suspect that you are talking about administration - well, administration in Poland has nothing to do with Poles its like a dinosaur, leftover monster from different dimension. Its kept alive because a few people can make a money and generally living because of that alien fossil, they would never been able sustain himself on the same financial level otherwise.

Monster is long dead but everyone is pretending that its alive and dangerous, some because they have no chose, some because they make a living that way, and some because they get used to it.

No wonder you are confused person, do not confuse Poland's institutions with poles anymore - that's the beauty of the country worlds biggest park for dead monster.

Sadly for Poland the national reputation is not a great one

To tell you the truth I couldn't care less!add full covers some nuclear rockets or two, and reputation or not half the world would kiss Poland's ass.

what we ARE saying is that modern Polish culture has some huge changes it will have to undertake if it wants respect.

modern culture in Poland is hardly polish, it sucks!

Is he? Where? Because if you mean that the same coat of arms meant that you were a part of the clan thats rubbish, take my family, our coat of arms is Rogala and we share it with what? Sixty other families?

Asking about clans and projecting the way Scottish clans were on Poland's noblemen.
I have taken into account his origin and you are only confusing the issue with your interpretations.

Family structure which bore great similarities to a clan structure and yes i do not mean Scottish clans but then again these are not defining of the term Clan either.

If we are talking about structures of magnates family and household is not enough to call it clan, if we talking about connection of the magnates and noblemen there still no enough similarities to call it clan, its all more like patron -client relationship much alike ancient Rome.

You may think about Polish "klan" but it is something quite different.

Well, hallo I'm proud, honest, hardworking, love my country and defend my religion.
I'm also tolerant, open minded with sense of humor, like nature and animals, suspicious about human motives, believe that evil exists and right and just doest; necessarily win.

Intelligent and interested in others cultures and way of life.
Don't believe that egalitarianism and democracy works its rather cheese in the mouse trap.

Thats not all but its long enough:)
