ONR. Before WW2 the original ONR had some very marginal influence but were always plagued with internal conflicts and divisions. It was a fascist movement but oddly enough they had quite a few Jews in their ranks, including the leadership (Mosdorf, Piasecki). They weren't nazi collaborators though - Gestapo hunted them down and many of them (including the two I mentioned) were executed.

Now ONR has a membership of around 1000 and is equally divided as their predecessors were 80 years ago. A strange, chaotic organisation. Zoological curiosity really.

I object to collocating "idiot" with "Pan-Slavist".

There can hardly be a more beautiful and captivating idea than Pan-Slavism. Nations of different Christian denominations, political alliances and civilisational models, but still acknowledging their common roots and celebrating them - how can one call a pan-Slavist an idiot? A dreamer, maybe... a romantic, perhaps... but never an idiot.

I speak Italian but when I'm in Italy I definitely feel abroad. I can get by in English and UK is a nice enough country but I don't feel at home there. However, when I travel to a Slavic country, it's a doubly-nice experience because I feel almost like in Poland. :)

Everything you have written is true. There are, however, certain laws in force in Poland that regulate conduct towards people crossing Polish border illegaly.

These procedures do not include pushing people back across the border, breaking their cell phones, taking away their shoes in -10 degrees celsius temperatures, beating them up, separating caught families and pushing them back over the fence separately, every person in a different place etc.

Just read the book, guys, and decide on your own if that's what you think Poland should do.

It was provoked by Belarus but the conduct of our border guards is simply illegal in many respects, and there are some guards who are definitely over-zealous (to put it mildly).
