Nooo, parsnip is always white, like parsley root. This one is brown as you can see in the photo.

It is a veg which is largely forgotten in Poland now but once it was popular. Still popular in such Western countries like Italy or France. The taste and texture reminds one of asparagus.

It must be the problem with British ketchup which is too salty and too sour (this infamous British vinegar) and doesn`t suit Polish Hawaian pizza! . Try ketchup from Poland, sweet and a little spicy - the best of all. :):):)

Kremówka ala cream cake was extremely popular in communist times of 1970s and 1980s. Today it is much less. That is why I was positively shocked seeing it on the table. Amasing how tastes can change over years. ):):)

Good you mentioned salt. I removed the cap off the salt shaker so that the drops of holy water that the priest spatters onto the baskets can reach the content more easily.
