It's a kids' riddle, used mostly in some games, and sometimes as a tongue in cheek expression - it's a wish for someone to fail in whatever they are doing or trying to do.

you'd be surprised.

when people say "w której kamienicy mieszkasz?" what they really mean is "which building do you live in?"

only if it can be assumed that all buildings are constructed of masonry materials.

Otherwise fine, have it your way and translate it as "Which urban buiding made of stone do you live in?"

Don't be silly. The theme of this thread are literal translations.
Perhaps "brick house"?

This is a building, but it can't be called "kamienica"

Furthermore if Polish women were the most beautiful then why are the most well known models English/American???????

Most models work for designers who are gay and gays tend to have a different ideal of a woman's beauty. Many look simply like coat hangers - unbelievably skinny, not pretty at all.

Btw. you might want to take some threads with a grain of salt, or tongue in cheek, if you suffer from shortage of salt.

Poles see as funny and lazy but meanwhile economically and culturally superior.

Things may have changed in the last years but I would have never thought of Czechs as culturally superior because it would be hard to decide whether the culture is Czech or German.

One opinion that used to be common in Poland was that Czech aren't such a brave nation. (halo, halo, TV Praha, my se ne boim jeno mamy straha)

I didn't mean my post to be an argument against yours. There can be quite large linguistic variations on relatively small areas.

As my dad used to joke, my mom came from a different civilization - her village was located across the river, 2 miles from his :)

My Folks came from Galicia (Mala Polska), All the I ever knew was Dzidzu and Busia. I called my Grandfather Gigi& my Grandmother Busia.

Funny. I come from the area and I never heard those used in my family :)

But "Spierdalaj pedal" showing only your goal but at the same time showing your inability to operate efectively insults in polish.

Actually, that kind of construct (expletive + Nominative) is also heard from native speakers of Polish. I think Arise_St_George's insult was effective.

Spier... mean do live unlimited area - everywhere we will find you, you will be in danger. Wypierdalać mean spierdalać stąd. "Stąd" define limited area( escape from that area - here - but you could stay there ) for that strong request.

I'm not sure I'd agree. Certainly not with the first one.

Speirdalaj is a generic invitation to piss off/fuck off. It doesn't have to have anything to do with space or location.

Wypierdalaj , in addition to its other meanings, is an encouragement which has to do mostly with space or location, but frankly, Polish linguists don't appear to devote a lot of time to the nuances in the meanings of either word.

You could, but that wouldn't be readily recognized. I never saw or heard these forms, but perhaps others did.

btw. "kutwa" does mean "miser", but at times it may be used as an euphemism for "kurwa". Other such softer versions of the expletive are kuźwa, kurtka, kurde.
