No, it still isn`t. You say so coz they sing in English. :):):)

Now I know why you didn`t like my music - coz you didn`t understand a word. That was your main criterion. Amasing! hahahahaha

I got this LP record in 1982 as a present. Listened to it tens of times coz it was so intriguing. Still have it. Everybody said Brygada Kryzys had evolved from punk rock style but there isn`t much of it in this album. More new wave. Such music and lyrics were still some achievement in early 1980s commie times.

ganja, ganja, ganja, ganja so good for everybody

hahaha

No, still rubbish to my ears.

Now I know why you didn`t like my music - coz you didn`t understand a word

That is utter bollox and you know it!

You say so coz they sing in English

If European bands don't sing in English they will never have success outside of their country, that may be sad, but it is a basic reality.

Ask Shocking Blue,The Scorpions,Rammstein and many more!
Rammstein got it right, they sang in both English and German.
The Dutch band Focus got around it by yodelling a lot.......but still mainly sang in English.
Look at Coma and Riverside, they both sing in Polish and English!

I don`t care about their successes outside, it is music and message in Polish lyrics which I find appealing. You can`t enjoy lyrics that is why you say it is crap. It is a pathetic attitude.

Look at Coma and Riverside, they both sing in Polish and English!

Poor groups have to sing in English to attract the attention of guys like you. :):):):)

That is total bolox! I actually prefer Polish songs sung in Polish, especially ballads.
Polish flows much better than English, a Germanic language.
I only suggest that singing in Polish restricts your audience.
Although, to be honest, Polish bands that sing in English have not had much more success outside of Poland than those that don't.
From my posts on other forums it seems that Polish Music is not very much liked outside of Poland.
Which is a shame.
By contrast, foreign bands singing in English have done well in Poland, besides the obvious sixties bands I remember Welsh band Budgie and Irish band Thin Lizzy doing very well in Poland and more recently the Swedish band Sabaton.

Polish music needs a big kick up the arse because the music is good but, somehow they are just not breaking out of Poland.

No, earlier you called certain awesome Polish groups and their songs crap. The problem is the English singing groups you recommended weren`t better. To be honest, they are crap compared to my groups. The conclusion could be only one - you hate when rock music is sung in Polish.

Do you have a comprehension problem? Or is it just that your English is poor?
I said;

Or did you miss that with your obsession with Polish Punk Rock?
All Punk Rock is rubbish, but Polish Punk Rock is worse than most......

a comprehension problem? Or your English is poor?

Aren`t these two suppositions the same thing??? :):):) So, why "or" between them??? :):):)

Polish Punk Rock worse than most......

And that is why I claim you talk bs coz you enjoy crap groups whose main advantage is they sing in English which you can understand.

Definately a comprehension problem with you.

I said;

What is so hard for you to understand?

Or is it just stupidity?

Or trolling?

I said;

Yes, we know you said it. But we also know that you regularly say bs.

understand?

You talked bs too often before so we don`t believe you now. Simple. Ha!

But we also know that you regularly say bs.

Really, said the third biggest BSter on this forum......see? You are not even the best at BS! LOL!!!!

You avoid the point and never answer honestly........ you are a useless prat!

You avoid the point

Yes, as a decent person I was unwilling to say certain unpleasant things. Now you are forcing me to do it: being a Polish British mongrel, don`t argue with a native Pole about Polish music coz you don`t know what you are talking about. You talk bs when you critisize great groups and promote crappy ones.

as a decent person

From several of your posts tonight you have shown us all that you are not a decent person.

being a Polish British mongrel,

Now you are showing your drunken stupidity. How can I be a Polish British mongrel if both my parents were Polish?
So I am obviously not a mongrel!
Were both of your parents Polish?

don`t argue with a native Pole about Polish music coz you don`t know what you are talking about

Another ridiculous elitist comment.I have as much right as anyone to comment about anything especially on a subject that I know far more about than you.

You talk bs when you critisize great groups and promote crappy ones.

That's down to a matter of taste, your poor taste and my good taste..... :-)

on a subject that I know far more about than you.

Don`t be silly. :):)

One of Poland's best known classic rock bands

TSA played similar music to AC/DC but had one major advantage over Australians - they sang in Polish. I bought all their records in 1980s.
The song you presented here - 3 Matches - is a beautiful ballad which got fans to light lighters during concerts, thus creating an unforgettable atmosphere. Today people do it with their phones.

Their lead singer had an amasing voice. Check it out here:

3 Matches:
First
First to see your eyes
Second
Second to see your lips
Third
Third to see your whole face
Three matches in a row
Lit at night
First to see your eyes
Second
Second to see your lips
And total darkness to learn everything by heart

In an interview with Roman Polanski, he mentioned that when he
was making "Noz w wodzie" in 1962, jazz was in fact forbidden in Poland
and the director had to negotiate with aka bribe the Polish authorities in order
to allow him to include the jazz soundtrack in the film which gave it its special
bite and cool flavor.

Freedom to follow yet a different beat, so it seems!
