Do Polish people have big noses?

Since this thread started i have been looking at Polish noses on the telly....yes , i have seen one or two rather beak like pointed noses on Polish women , but far more rather small cute noses...

I think my nose is maybe a little bigger than the usual , but i have never been mistaken for a Pole... Even before i speak i am usually sussed out as being non Polish...

So... no , i don,t think having a big sneck is a Polish trait...

The ideal Polish appearance:
Long nose, small body and short legs, which is quite helpful for harvesting asparagus and strawberries.

Also helplul in milking sheep for oscypek

This discussion is so dumb. Big noses? Compared to what, the "perfect" noses? There are no "big" noses, only bigger and smaller.

We have a proverb, more a coping sentence for those who didn't have luck with the nose.

I like Roman and Greek type of noses, size doesn't matter. Actually, giving a static to the always active face and its muscles, I think it should be bigger rather than smaller.

back to the proverb: " Koliki nos, toliki ponos", it rhymes in Serbian and means literally translated, " how big is the nose, that big is the pride".

I don't know what pride there stands for.

Well, I met a lot of polish girls and I can't say that hayve small noses...I thought about it onces but I think that doesn't make them ugly

Big nose is not a special feature for Polish people, especialy not for Polish females. There are some others nations with mostly bigger and crooked noses like Turks or.......you know.

Not such a deflection after all. :) Alien mentioned Turks and hesitated over the other nation known for crooked noses, so I immediately thought of Bulgarians - they are close to Turks as far as I know.

Yes, during written and oral exams students have to lie a lot. E.g., the examiners might have such a request - tell us about the situation when you or sb you know took a pet to the vet. What if you have never had a pet, neither your relatives or friends?
